Ekta,

Freelance Writing Center is not a scam. I have written over 160 projects (800-100 pages), and over 100 blogs (300-500 pages) for this website in 2008. I can prove this through saved work and PayPal payments. When I request payments, I receive them within a few hours. At times, when it's very busy, it takes a day or two. Most of the time, I'm content with the payment process.

Freelance Writing CenterAs a Public Admin graduate student, and a past UCSB graduate in Film & Media Studies, I am a very diverse writer. Freelance Writing Center only require tests to ensure you have good writing skills. You have to also write an essay about plagiarism.

I can ensure you that you will make money writing, but you will need to really be serious. Deadlines are extremely important, as the site and clients depend on you. Since I have been paid good money for writing, the only drawback is the amount of time it takes to produce the projects because there are some customers that submit assignments, which requires double the work.

Overall, I have done well writing for the site. This is a good second job. In order to make a living writing here, you will need to exhaust a great deal of time. You have to take into account the time it takes to conduct the research. I have an extensive library of books ranging from Public Policy, Film, Communications, Business, Public Relations, and Government. I also have access to library articles. I might add, you should obtain log in access to JCOST. Google Scholar has been very useful for me.

I have written quality papers in APA and MLA. I usually avoid Chicago, Harvard or Turabian, as they require additional time. Remember, time is money. I learned that after many sleepless nights at the computer. You have to enjoy writing, or you will dread producing projects. I have planned to write for film for the past decade and a half, but the Writer's Strike, and the economy have put that goal on hold. Although I produce client projects, it allows me to maintain deadlines, communicate, and endure high volume work.

If you think of writing as a business, you will succeed. Be direct, responsible, and professional. There are some clients that can be rude, and others are demanding. The majority of the clients are understanding, and helpful. It doesn't matter how good the quality your work is; if you're late, clients will be rude. Within the last 15 months of working for the company, deadlines tend to overshadow anything else. I have written some great papers, but people gave me poor feedbacks for missing their deadline by a few minutes. Communication is the key to success. Out of 160 projects, I have only experienced a couple bouts with my quality since I picked up projects outside of my expertise like Chemical Engineering. Stay within your skill level.

Only pick up projects you're capable of writing. Don't fall into the trap of picking up ones that seem interesting because you will struggle in the end. This past December, I picked up over a 100 pages (15-20 projects) during finals week. I had my own finals to complete for graduate school, as well as other projects. I had to travel up North, and drove in the snow to visit my family. I endured a high level of stress putting myself through those unpredictable moments. When I left my work area, it was hard to find credible sources in the local libraries.

Luckily, I have a quality Apple computer, and one of those ATT USB 3G Internet sticks. Freelance Writing Center is the only site that I have made money writing for. Other sites like Helium, and Shvoong were a disaster. Freelance Writing Center is a credible site. I have proofs that I made money writing for the site, and that I have a high level of experience writing quality papers.

When you writing on a daily basis, the words just flow. I don't need to look at my Writer's Manual too often because I have complete confidence in APA and MLA citing guidelines. Writing papers for clients range from scholarships, student assignment, research papers, essays, admission essays, employment essays, and a wide range of other work. Academic writing helped me maintain deadlines, writing volume, knowledge, and kept me within my ultimate goal of writing for film.

In retrospect, stay within your skill level. Don't pick up too much, especially if you have your own work to complete. If you don't complete the work, nobody else will. Ultimately, the student will fail the course, and possibly, it could be their last assignment to graduate.

Expand your citing skills. Communicate with your clients about any problems, concerns, and questions you have regarding their project. Make sure you communicate with the company when they send messages. I would recommend using PayPal to accept payments. It's quick and efficient. Get one of those PayPal Debit Mastercards too. You can take out money at any local grocery store - just make a purchase, and punch your Pin number ($400 a day limit). Some grocery store also limit it to $200 per day. Won't cost you a fee.

As for writing, be confident, be responsible, be professional, be courteous, don't get worked up when clients are rude, keep within the page requirements (I tend to overwrite), use credible sources (Google Scholar, books, articles, and etc.), Limit using too many quotes, and develop paraphrasing skills. After receiving good feedbacks, ask for a raise for your per page rate. The last minute projects that are due within 8 hours or less pay high rates. If you pick those up, make sure you complete them. Deadlines and quality work in unison, but I can vouch that deadlines are more important to clients than quality. I don't like to reduce my quality because of a deadline. A client may complain about quality. It's a Catch 22. Some clients don't like to communicate.

Think of working on this site like serving customers in a restaurant. Give the customer everything they want, communicate with them during the dining experience, and stay professional - even if they're unbearable to deal with. If you follow these steps, you can make some good money writing (second job). Don't rely on this as a primary form of income unless you plan to be married to your computer. If you can write quick, and efficient, then you can use this as a primary job. Write as if it were your own work. You receive a good sense of satisfaction when client praise your work. In a way, you're a part of their future. Without you, they probably wouldn't graduate, or pass a course. It can cost them money to take the course again.

After writing for the site, maybe you can gain skills to write a book. the volume of writing, and deadlines helps one achieve discipline. Anything that involves online writing requires discipline. Best of luck to you. Happy writing!

Hello,

I worked at freelancewritincenter for 2 years. I am a graduate student that has the ability to write in volume and do so with quality. The only projects I tend to avoid are anything related to economics and physics.

Check out my blogspot for writing tips. I haven't been able to make a living on freelance writing alone, but I have been able to gain extensive experience with taking on hundreds of projects. A majority of my clients - ranging from PHD to junior high school - have received good grades. I created magicwriter.blogspot.com to help students with potential writing issues.

I want to venture away from academic writing because my main goal is to write for film. I have never taken advantage of any of my clients. There have been a handful of times where some clients, ones using the friend excuse, have asked for work and then never paid for it. I have never met a person that I have written for, but many of my past clients have complimented me for my integrity.

Writing for a website is better than directly working with a clients because the companies compensates a writer for every project they complete. I have never had any problems with my clients or being paid on the website. Other writers have experienced conflict with students that try to make excuses, claiming their work is unacceptable. After they ask for refunds, they will submit the work for credit. Customers do the same thing at restaurants. They complain about the food and then receive a free meal. There are many threads on this site that target companies and writers for ripping them off, but people ignore the fact that writers are taken advantage of. Many times writers are treated poorly because students are stressed out about waiting past their deadline to seek help.

Check out my blogspot website. I have some good writing tips on there. I posted some random papers to help out students. Leave some questions or concerns you may have about writing. I will do my best to answer any of them.

I am a confident writer because I have taken on many projects. I have earned many college degrees, but I discovered that practical experience is most effective in improving writing skills. The best strategy to becoming a great writer is to read and to write. Since students dislike reading, they struggle with the research and writing process.

When I first started freelance writing, I found the introduction to be a challenge. Reading, creating outlines, and preparing annotated bibliographies are the best techniques to resolving the introduction issue.

Whenever I write about government, law, communication, and film, I can flow because I have take on many projects in those areas, and also have college experience as well. I have a large inventory of academic books, articles, and newspapers. I have strong APA and MLA citing skills. Every writer needs to be prepared and ready to write. Academic writers need to be disciplined, have strong time management skills, be aware of citing guidelines, and possess effective communication skills.

Freelance writing is not intended to be profitable. It can be lucrative in one works with film, magazines, and for respectable companies. As for academic projects, a writer has to find a handful of clients they trust. The same goes for the customer; they must trust the writer to be reliable. Academic work is exhausting because a writer has to read, analyze the work, and then must prepare the work.

Check out the blog website to find some pointers. Leave a comment. I may be able to prepare an article to help you out with any potential writing issues.Refer the website to other students and friends. I started the blog a few months ago. The more advertisements clicks I get, the more time I can devote to writing articles which are sure to help students become better writers. Good luck.

Teacher vs. Student CheatA teacher will know that you cheated when you don't receive a quality paper in return. Many writers are still learning about the writing process. There may be citing mistakes that are obvious to the instructor. If you receive a quality paper that is written right, then your instructor may never notice, of course, unless you start discussing it to others. Make sure you never disclose to anyone that you ordered a paper because someone is sure to use that information to get you in trouble. Read what I wrote below.

Some writers and students make mistakes with the citing process. One time, I had a client that never told me that he didn't know about the subject matter. I wrote an awesome paper, but his teacher thought it was far above his skills. That could be a concern. In order to prepare him for the big meeting, I gave him a crash course on the subject matter, where he found the book, and anything else that I knew that would help me to avoid problems. If you paying for another writing to write a paper, most likely, or I'll suggest, that maybe the write has good writing skills.

Not every writer is a quality writer, but if they work for a company and making money, they have to be doing some positive. An instructors that knows that you are unable to produce such work, then they will sense that you are cheating. Make sure that if you plan to pay for a paper, do it at the beginning of a course. An instructors will know when your writing skills change. Turning in average papers at the beginning, then producing A+ quality work after may raise brows. Even with tutoring, making such a drastic improvement over a short amount of time may in fact be because of cheating.

The best tool is to avoid over citing and to analyze a subject. Turnitin.com may provide citing feedback, but it is not going to help you to properly cite a paper. Many writers tend to over cite, which causes them to get into trouble. As a freelance writer, I have never been confronted about plagiarism because I know what instructors require of students.

Think of plagiarism as copy and pasting from the net, sneaking in a quote from a book, turning in a past paper you wrote, improperly citing in APA, MLA, and the worst mistake of all, some students assume that using page numbers are good enough to protect them from plagiarism. i.e. On page 213, the author says this...... That is not the proper way to cite, especially in a a book review.

For APA papers, a student should also write in the third person. Use entity as a way to avoid first person narrative. Cite with Student (2009) notes that "....." (p. 213). Another way "is to use" (Student, 2009, p. 213). Paraphrasing can go as follows: Student (2009) mentions that he is struggling to find a good strategy to prevent plagiarism. Properly analyzing work requires ample reading and further understanding of the subject matter (Student, 2009). If you want to list some numbered points are in found in the book, use the following strategy. Student (2009) shared that medical reform is an issue that President Clinton attempted to present - to a Democrat majority House - as a measure to:

1)
2)
3)
4) (p. 415).

Try to mix of the citing techniques so you don't use too much direct quoting. Use quotes to guide your argument, not as a way to just for fill out space. THink of a quotes like an argument and a disagreement. When another person makes a reference, you respond to them. Well, if you use a quote from an author, respond to it using a personal perception.

The only different between MLA and APA is that MLA uses the author and the page number. No commas after the author's last name. Whenever bringing up the author's name in-text, make sure to use their entire name for first time, then you can just use last name the next time around.

Even though I have extensive experience with APA and MLA, I still look in my writer's handbook to make sure that everything is accurate. Doctors and nurses do the same with the PDR, DSM, and the nurse's drug handbook. Students shouldn't fear plagiarism is they make sure to cite everything and avoid over citing. The only software that I know of, one in which scans for plagiarism is turnitin.com. I have never had any complaints for plagiarism. I have written many papers for PHD clients that have strict teachers that mention plagiarism and threaten students. In the end, I receive exceptional grades for them.

Writing Careers / Stop Writing for essaywriters.net [340]

You shouldn't have waited that long to be paid. When I worked for a writing site, I used to receive payments whenever I requested it. One day I requested a payment, the next day I received them. Sometimes I received payments on the same day. I have cut off a handful of clients that took advantage. Once client did it 3 times; he kept making excuses and I just blocked the e-mail. What irritated me is that I wrote his personal essay to get into a college that I wish I could have gone to in the past. He is struggling in an elite college program that I can breeze through without even trying.

As for the payment issue, the old saying goes, don't do anymore work until you see some form of payment. Unless you want to volunteer, you're working for a company that needs to show some respect.

I'm sure you left the company already. I would have stopped doing anymore work until you received some form of payment. It wouldn't make any sense to make a company rich while you exhaust all of your valuable time and energy, and not receive any compensation fir your services in return.

Hopefully you learned from the process. If you decide to work outside of a company, make sure you take payment upfront first, or maybe even half if the client is still getting to know you. Don't send any project without first receiving payment. Once the client appreciates you work, then they will trust you in the near future.

Either way, the client relationship must work out. A client knows that if they don't pay for your services, they'll lose out on future help. Same goes for a writers that never delivers any work after receiving payment. Writing is about building trust. The company elected to take advantage, not paying you in the process. Don't pick up anymore projects until you receive payment.

If you don't receive payment, stop working for the site. The first payment is the most important because it shows they are willing to pay for your skills. If they never made a payment to you, then it is unlikely you will receive anything in the future. Use the experience as a learning lesson. We all make mistakes. The next time around, you will make sure to respect your time.
