I just got an essay from writemyessay.com, attached to the OPPAPERS website. It was Memorial Day weekend and crunch time and I figured A). I could spend all weekend writing a paper and be miserable, B). I could try one of these services, just to see how it looks or C). I tell the school my computer got a virus, I lost everything and I'm gonna need an extension - I know, long shot...Well, I got my paper today, a full day and a half early. I don't know if this is built in so there is time for re-write, but honestly, I was surprised. I was working on another paper, yes, my own! So I checked it to make sure it was at least in English...First glimpse wasn't so bad, except for an obvious misspelling of one of the sources, but I can fix that. So I set it aside for several hours until I coundn't stand to look at my other paper anymore. You know where you just keep writing the same crap and it's still, you know, crap. So I pulled up the example research paper sent to me and started working on it. Not bad...makes sense, obviously not an American because of the sentence structure and the choice of a few words, but hey, I'm still in shock about it being early! So I go over it and work it and pretty much develop my own paper (twelve pages, double spaced with cover and bib - would normally take me a day and a half - if I like the topic) in about 6 hours. Spelling was good, grammar about 10th grade, pretty much on topic, had to fix all the references to APA (as I requested). The remaining test is to be seen when I turn my own paper in. I promise to let everyone know.

Essayscam...well, I would assume it would divulge essay writing services that are scams. In order to do that, it would have to warn others which services don't come through and which one do. I suppose in my naivety, I though it was a helpful service that a generous minded group of individuals was providing to the public in order to bolster the negative perception so many have about the essay writing services (I suppose that is where essayscam comes from). By exposing the fraudulent services and extolling the virtues of the services which provide an honest product, the stigma would eventually be erased because any consumer who had done his due dilligence and checked the reputation of the company with which they sought services could have some assurance that they wouldn't be "scammed". If some benevolent sole, like myself, took a chance on a service and won, I'd want to share my success with others. If I got screwed, I'd return the favor to the fraudulent service by steering potential clients away from them. See? It all kind of works for the betterment of society as a whole. But honestly, all I see here is a handful of people asking for help in selecting a service and then a whole lot of angry, negative personalities that just need somewhere to vent. Kind of makes me feel dirty being here...but I've read some of your posts and you seem to be a decent person. So, now that I understand that I'm not allowed to give reviews, I have to ask, "Why not?" and "Why would anyone care if I did?" and "If not here, then where?".

Okay. Negative = good. Positive = bad. I got it. I tried another service. Custom Student Coursework. So far a day and a half overdue with no response from the writer. Customer service has responded to %75 of my requests for help (three out of four requests) but their verbage indicates they outsource to unknown writers. Is it possible they are being scammed? Hmmmmmm.... Anyhow, they are leaving me in a lurch. I'm looking at another service to pick up their slack. Clocks ticking Student Coursework -tick,tock,tick,tock...

How was that?

Dude, you are just one bitter individual. Here's the result. They paper never materialized. Student Coursework jumped right on the cancellation and returned my payment post-haste. This of course is in no way a positive critique, or review of their service, as that is not allowed here or anywhere else. Scam, no, but not exactly a stellar business model either.

********* did not come through. They did cancel the order and return my payment immediately, though. Still, they left me in a bad way. All you d-bags who will say,"write your own papers" and "you should have planned better" go find some other forum. I'm making this one mine...BTW, Pheelyks, please tell me the name of a forum that allows positive reviews and isn't a more obvious place for essay writing services to place fake reviews and posts...
