General Talk / Paid for 5 pages but need 15 more. New writer refused to use existing pages, why? [19]

I hired an essay writer privately. He has gmail address. He was supposed to write 20 pages but deliverd only first 5 pages. The writing and quality is good and theres no plagiarism. But he doesn't reply any more and is not interested in finishing. I paid him only for 5 pages for trial.

What can I do now? I contacted another writer but she says she cannot use the 5 pages because its not her style and her approach is different.

So I now paid for 5 pages but it cannot be used? So I lost money? Why a new writer cannot work with existing content and only add new content, is it normal?

Topic is hard but he did quite well! I wanted to continue working with him, but he stopped communication. It's been a week so I have to move on. I just didnt want to lose money for the work already done, but the new writer says it's easier for her to start from scratch and she cannot use the 5 pages I alrady have.
