This Prescott Papers outfit is comical. I found a negative review on another site a couple of days ago, but now they deleted it and only left comments. This is all you need to know about the outfit. The deleted review is below:
I placed an order with Prescott Papers for a 6 page paper (1500 words) about two weeks before my deadline. The paper required the use of 8 academic readings chosen by my professor and 2 academic sources of the writer's choosing. During the ordering process I clearly stated the importance of this paper as it would determine whether I would be able to graduate this semester.
I was very impressed and satisfied when I received the paper back within 5 days. The writer had followed the instructions that I had provided. The paper was well written. There were minor grammar errors here and there but I didn't mind fixing them. Overall, I was pleased with the service. However, that opinion quickly changed!
The university I attend requires that all papers be submitted through a program (TurnItIn) that determines whether or not there is plagerisim within a paper. On the Prescott Papers webpage it is clearly stated that they have a 100% plagiarism-free guarantee. Therefore, I was not worried about submitting the paper to this program. About two days after submitting the paper, I received an email from my professor stating that 15% of my paper was plagiarized, anything at 5% or below is okay. In the email my professor sent me a copy that highlighted everything that had been plagiarized. I googled every sentence (one by one) that was marked, most of them had been paraphrased from other sources but the writer had not provided a citation. However, the writer's main infraction occurred when they used 2 direct quotes without using any quotation marks or a citation.
In the email my professor also stated that I would have to go in front of the student board to determine what disciplinary action would be taken as the university has a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism. I immediately contacted Prescott Papers to let them know about the situation. In my email to them I described in detail the infractions that occurred. I also mentioned that the main reason I decided to go through with my order was because they guarantee their writing is 100% plagiarism free.
Prescott Papers emailed me back in a timely manner but the responses I received, in my opinion, were ridiculous. We had a number of emails back and forth. The conversation mainly pertained to them telling me that I should try talking to my professor (which I had already done and I stated that), I was told to state that it was an oversight, and not to worry because student boards try to help students. Never once did I received an apology!
The student board found me guilty of plagiarism. My punishment was receiving 0% on the paper that was worth 50% of my grade. Even though I had held an A prior to the paper, I still failed the course. Needless to say I will not be graduating this semester.
