The reason we are known as freelancers is that we can choose to work for anyone at any time without necessarily getting involved in a long-term contract. However, and most importantly, a freelancer, particularly, academic writers must be well conversant with quality concerns. Quality should come first in our work in order to have returning clients. I believe that working through a company can help you build your career in writing platform. For instance, some companies give you a mentor who coaches on various writing aspects as you continue working. Nonetheless, some companies are very frustrating to work with due to unnecessary fines and so forth. Hence, the reason why writers seek direct clients, which has been difficult to get.
I think, if one is well conversant with essay chat, upwork, freelancer, Fiverr among others then he/she should be able to get direct clients, but the process is gradual.
