Allwriting.net is run by the company privatewriting.com[DND*]. If you see the rates on privatewriting.com[DND*] that they take from students, it's nearly 245 dollars for a 2500 word essay. Then you turn to allwriting.net, and they pay a meagre 4-5 dollars per page to writers - which means they are eating up 200 dollars and giving the remaining 40 dollars to writers as 'fee'!!! sorry is this called writer salary or simply money for beggars? this company has to be brought up to the attention of all who believe in fair practice. these guys are blatantly cheating writers. if any writer out here is working for allwriting.net for less than 10 dollars per page, you should stop immediately.

From another student:

I placed an order in privatewriting for my dissertation. Unfortunately, they cheated on me and gave me heart time. They sent a late low quality paper that i my self can not accept it, and guess what? the writer can`t be a native speaker..his language is too poor. and he copy pasted others "as my supervisor said" guys plzzz don`t even try them they are cheaters and make your life miserable.

And by the way, I have placed an order for an assignment while they are doing my dissertation and I failed and I swear I am telling you the truth. I am really disappointed by them...

it may be true that American companies give a better chunk to writers from customer fees than UK companies. uk companies take around 200-240 pounds from a customer for a 2000 word undergrad essay and pay around 70-80 pounds to a writer. that's unacceptable and even if these companies are 'registered' their work culture is like any other fraudulent company and this practice has to be stopped

WB - i know you talk about legit companies. but even legit companies pay writers only 30% of the fee they get from customers. I worked with a company that specializes in preparing course materials from schools, they are also an agency and mediate between customers (in this case, schools) and freelance writers. they take 30% of the fee amount as agency fee or commission for getting the jobs for writers and writers are listed on their list and they give specific jobs to specific writers, just like essay writing companies. The only difference is they take 30% and pay the writers 70%, they treat writers like clients as well, this is how it works in 'proper' writing industry. whereas in the essay industry it is just the opposite, there is massive exploitation and companies pay 30% or lower to writers as a small fee for doing all the hard work and they keep the big chunk, as if they are the ones doing all the work and writers are simply junior workers.

[Moved from]:

Writers here - do you think writers should unite and start a writing service?

I would suggest some of the best writers here can begin their own writing service and ask for fair fees from customers and also maintain their own financial interests. come on if you are writing an essay every day and helping hundreds of students to get hundreds of degrees you are probably a genius and deserve better than getting horrible HR treatment or low pay by a bunch of halfwits who employ you

Prospect solution is okay but they pay you once a month like ukessays and it's frustrating to wait. they may also give penalties and such, otherwise their rates are standard and their hr team seems quite professional. but like ukessays they take a lot more from customers than what they pay writers

freelancewritingcenter has bad HR, don't know much about their pay rates but from their reply to my application enquiry - clearly no sense of HR. not recommended.

Hi - I wrote for academia research for quite some time. i didn't have problems with their behavior, in fact there is no behavior with writers, you log in, take the work, do the work and get the payment. in most cases payment arrived on time although there were one or two delays and such. i have nothing to prove that they are fraudulent, i always took work that paid above $11 perpage, I don't work for lower pay. my experiences have not been bad but then there may be other writers with bad experience with the company....my advice is as long as you write well and follow instructions they will pay you on time. just don't take up the assignments that offer low rates per page and maintain a standard, no matter how desperate you are for money.

Writing Careers / UK Essays - writing for them? [48]

academic knowledge/uk essays pay only 1/3rd of the essay fee to a writer and treat writers like ****. they don't have basic hr/pr skills. they are ripping off both writers and customers. all companies should pay at least half the fee to writers.

There is only one way to distinguish legitimate good companies from bad companies - consider the fee given to writers.

US Companies should pay a minimum of 10 dollars per page
UK Companies should pay a minimum of 10 pounds per page
European companies should pay a minimum of 10 euros per page

and so on...

This means a pay rate of 40 dollars/ 40 pounds/40 euros etc. per 1000 words would be standard as given by legitimate US/UK/European companies. of course some companies pay more and some pay less but writers should stress on this standardization so that they are not exploited.

If you are a writer and work for less, you are harming yourself and others and also lowering the standards of the industry and encouraging fraud
