Thank you for an honest reply. I get the feeling the first poster to reply is just a jack, looked up his threads and all he does is just whinge and troll.

Absolutely, I already have a different job working for an agency in a different line of work, so I do know if you don't find your own work, a cut is taken.

I just want to get some ballpark figures on pay. Whether that's freelance or if by working for companies.

Realistically, if you don't know what you're worth as a professional, i am afraid you shouldn't be offering your services in the first place.

smart ass.

realistically if you're too stupid to read the question, maybe you should complain to your inbred mother.

I didn't ask how much I was worth as a professional. I asked typical rates of pay, meaning an industry standard if there was one.

I am looking into doing freelance writing for university students. I am based in the United Kingdom.

What are typical rates of pay to writers for every 1000 words?

How do writers write according to their pay? Do they say, ah well this is x hours of minimum wage or whatever, so the time limit to write this is y hours?

Thanks.
