First class - 2:1 - 2:2, why the big difference in prices?

Regarding the big difference between prices, should we take in account this when looking to use writing services?

By my experience, its useless and the quality is always the same....

To tell you the truth, the grade you select does not matter much. At the end of the day, any good company/writer will just provide you with their/his/her best.

1. Any site that promises a grade is committing a crime.

2. Any site that promises a grade is full of s-i*. No company can "guarantee" the subjective opinion of any particular teacher/professor on any given day.

3. Many of the sites that make such false promises are owned by foreign, ESL fraudsters who literally couldn't identify "quality" writing in the English language to save their lives.

It is nothing more than a blatantly deceptive marketing ploy to entice gullible customers.

"I signed up for a 2:1, turned in the paper I got without changing anything, and failed-- my professor knew it wasn't me who wrote it, and asked me after class to define one of the words in the paper-- I had no idea what it meant! I demand a revision!"

it's not just the companies that are at fault, here.

We are talking about servicing and not students and their misuse of it...

I'm talking about how absurd it is for a service to promise a grade-- why would they want to create that kind of situation? it's known in sales as "over-selling." when you already have the customer, you don't need to promise them the moon.

Do not fall for such sites which promise certain grades. As someone has already mentioned, "No Company can guarantee the subjective opinion of a professor".

probably this is just their way of raising the price?

Quality Research PricingThere is a very real reason to pay attention to price when selecting an academic writing service: quality. It just makes sense.

The companies that work with freelancers who are not native English speakers, or who live in places where the standard of living is low generally pay very low per-page rates to their writers. That means that the best writers are not going to be interested in working with those companies. So, the price might be very low, but the quality will be commensurate.

On the other hand, companies that charge high rates tend to offer products of much higher quality. Those companies can command the services of freelancers with far more experience in the academic writing profession, as well as freelancers who are native English speakers.

Now, high prices don't always mean higher quality, and lower prices don't necessarily mean poorer quality. Having said that, just as in every other business, prices in the academic writing world tend to correlate with quality: in general, the more money you pay, the better the quality. After all, there is a difference between a Porsche and a Ford Pinto :)

It's really just an excuse to charge gullible clients more for the exact same project they'd receive regardless of which standard they select. Grading is too subjective to be able to guarantee a specific mark and chances are the same companies that provide the (illusory) option to select a 2:1 or a 2:2 also have fine print in their TOS saying that their product isn't intended to be submitted for academic credit at all.

Generally, writers cannot upgrade their writing to any level beyond their current expertise. A C+ writer cannot write A grade papers consistently (some may happen by chance). The same is not true for A grade writers. They can, when needed, dumb down their level of writing to any grade if the client so chooses. I had clients ask me to write poor papers with many mistakes because their teachers would immediately recognize the upgrade. One client in particular stuck with me, she wanted a D on the paper (I never promise a grade but I did my best to write according to her specs) because she was pregnant at the time and couldn't manage the workload. She got D's on all of her papers in the course and did not want to raise any red flags.

Exactly. However, it actually takes me longer to write something worse than my natural level, which always makes it a little annoying when new clients ask how much of a price reduction they can get if they "only want a C" paper. I don't charge them more for it, but I'm certainly not going to give them a lower price for something that takes me longer to do than just writing it as well as I possibly can.

I never actually thought I'd encounter clients like this. But it turns out to be more commonplace than imagined. I was unaware that some people would purposely ask me to dumb down my language in order to "fit" their standards more. I also think that it's quite troublesome to have to change my entire writing style - but, I guess, it's all part of the job that we acquire as academic writers.

The companies use that reference as part of the con game. The idea is that if you can choose the score you want to receive, and the company can pretend to assure you of receiving that grade, then you would be willing to pay more for the services. Nothing could be further from the truth. The company knows that the student will get a grade based solely on the ability of the writer to complete the paper. There is no assurance that you will get a writer assigned with the ability to get you the target grade. If you must hire a writing company, save yourself the money and aim for the lower grade. That way you save a few bucks and won't be pissed off too much for the low grade the paper is sure to get.
