Hmmm... can i join? Hehehe... To tell honestly, I am from Essays.ph and I do believe that the company is not a scam. Now, I do understand those people who have been scam from other sites poh. I am observing both sides of the opinion e and I can't blame those people who are saying na ang company is a scam daw. The world is so much chaos. If you want to find out if it is a scam or not, you have to take a risk na lang poh by applying sa company nila. That is all.

I am not defending it even if I am from essays.ph. I am just observing both sides of the opinion because I believe that it is not their fault if they have different point of view and experiences. Some people have been scam and decided not to trust in any 'writing companies' and there are some people become successful and then, they decided to tell everyone that it is not a scam.

In my point of view, it is their choice whether they are going to apply in the company or not. They have to take the risk if they would like to know the truth because people have different experiences that they encounter in everyday life. There is a possibility that the experience you have is different from the experience they encounter. Hehehe.......

Hi. Another essays.ph writer here.

On the lead topic of the thread: Essays.ph is a real company that pays. I have been writing for them sporadically for the past five months. I joined to earn a bit of shopping money.

But the sad part is that the pay is extremely low. The assignments are comprised mostly of one-page SEO articles. They don't pay per article. They pay by the batch (that is, one main topic covering several articles). What happens is that you'll be churning out a handful of unique articles for the price of one article.

What you get at essays.ph is about PhP30 per article --which is perhaps OK for those who opt to complete their assignment by swiping articles off the Net ("research") and rewrite it. But, given my training, I tend to put effort into making sure that my work is written from scratch and proofread before submitting.

I thought I'd be with like-minded writers who strive to perfect their writing skills and grasp of the English language when I joined essays.ph. But, based on the comments posted on this thread, as well as on the socials forum of essays.ph, I find myself with wannabes who think that anyone with a computer can be a good writer. I mean, their manual has glaring errors, so are some of the threads posted by the so-called editors and higher-ups.

They sometimes have special features on the more active writers, just to make the forums more sociable. What you read resembles more of a roasting of the person's skills, which shows that the staff assigned to this article never dared to set up a decent interview.

BTW, they define "good" writers as those who can meet deadlines and take in a lot of assignments. I hope I'm not alone in finding this appalling.

The bottom line is that this gig is terrible for those who take their time, talent and skills seriously. Go ahead, if you want loose change from a sweatshop. But don't expect to gain any self-pride in the truest sense.

I am Filipino and I must say that even I had a hard time reading your comment. When did "po" become spelled as "poh"? I understand that you write as you say it out loud. But I do hope you put some effort on making it more readable. That is, to quit inserting the little "po" and "daw" in your sentences. It may sound acceptable audibly but it doesn't quite work well on screen.

Remember that we are writers. It's OK to take grammar and syntax more seriously. It's our job.
