thanks for noticing..I havent been posting here of late to prove my point...the 2 bids u had talked about were long-time-back bids...now I am strictly focussing towards what I can do...like MBA stuff, literature, history, IT, and so on.

PLUS u can check my records at the website...on majority of my projects, the customers have given me 100% ratings...

I still acknowledge direct correspondence as I have got alot of direct customers...

PLUS please do have considerations for a bad day for writers...everyday is not a sunday :) What I bid for now, is really what I can do...but there is always a provision for a bad day, isnt it? and please also note that I have never denied revising any work to the customer...if they think it is bad, they can always ask to revise and I am bound to do so...ethically...even after they have sent me the payment(s).

Lastly, I have never taken a payment from a non-satisfied client. The law customers that you're refering to, you can check with them for the fact that I canceled their payments and they were refunded...

the date of your bid (according to essaybay site itself) was the 20th April- the same day you acknowledged on here that law is not really your kind of thing. So on the one hand you acknowledge you are crap at law essays and then go onto essaybay and bid on 2 that sounds ethical (not).

Having a bad day is no excuse, is that what you expect you clients to tell their universities if they decide to submit your drivel without changing it. oh well...I dont like defending my work much because my clients (business paper customers) are satisfied with my work...and thus, I dont need to prove anything...

the satisfied ones would lead to the word-of-mouth advertising and u will see it urself :)

PLUS u can always check out my individual ratings given by customers at ebay...and at the sametime, u can check the orders and the topics i.e. cross checking the ratings to the topics as an evidence of my quality of work :)

And dont forget, by-passing the websites to contact the customers directly is beneficial for both writer and the student...both can have the cost benefit...additionally, it is essential to have mutual trust...

No its that at work we found a huge pooon ring on the internet and have been working 14 hour shifts doing dawn raids at various addresses up and down the country. This is still an ongoing investigation so cannot say any more about this. I do have several emails to follow up on from various companies but just not had time to do so. This is one of the reasons I have not posted much on here for a while. The kind of work I do is draining emotionally as well as physically so I have not really taking much action towards the research. In the scale of things I weigh this in the category of least importance. It was just a thesis I was going to test and will do so once things are back to normal at work again.

Anyway I am now off to bed after another gruelling night. Catch you all later.

and is it better to just deal with one person as suppose to a company

Pricing typically varies according to subject, timeframe and overall length (word count).

Working with a company or working with an individual? Both have risks. Working with an individual means you have little recourse if the writer doesn't come through. I don't see a writer delivering work to you without payment in advance.

If you work with an individual, it's probably best to know them personally.

If you work with a company, work within a company based in your own nation so you have legal options in case of scam.

The rest? You really have to do the work yourself. There are reputable companies out there. Once you find one, stick with them.

I think that the adminstrator of this forum should set up a website where the actual consumer can get in contact with the writers. The can give them a draft copy or water of their writing so they cannot use it until they get duly compensated. How does that sound? The writer would work as an independent contractor .

There are already a million such sites.

Uhh... because this website was not created for direct self promotion via forum treads. Yes, there are writers who try to do that. They are reprimanded for it. The forum does not endorse direct contact with student users because of the problems that type of contact entails that could negatively impact the true purpose of the forum.

I think the OP meant direct contact some other way. Perhaps through social media on paid SEO advertising. Not necessarily through the forum. Writers need to get creative these days because of the stiff competition among actual freelancers. more and more clients are optingto go the direct routethese days so I understand the suggestion. However, the clients are kind of on edge when it comes to direit hires through email. They cannot see any ratings for the writer that way. There is nothing wrong with direct contact. It is just difficult to contact and convince the students. Difficult, but not impossible. So, if one has the opportunity to they doing it, then go for it. There is everything to gain and nothing to lose.

I don't think the OP's meaning really requires much of an analysis to understand. It's pretty obvious: he suggested that since this forum is populated by students looking for written work and writers looking for clients, they shoud just contact one another right here. Then, as if that's not obvious enough, he specifically asked students to contact him and he offered his services to them. Not much deeper or mysterious meaning to any of that. As far as social media goes, I believe when the OP started this thread 13 years ago, MySpace was about the only option.
