fraud galore at academia-research.com

alengajua  1 | 1

I write to confirm the massive fraud and deception that academia-research.com is unleashing on its hardworking writers. I wrote for them for over 8 months until things took a bitter turn. They conjured a list of mysterious fines purported to take away all the money I had earned. In the first instance they slapped me with very huge fines over very flimsy accusations. On the second instance, they slapped me with a huge fine of $ 689 on one order which was originally costing $120, effectively taking away all that I had earned for 7 orders. Granted the basis for this fine was even legitimate, it is immoral to take away all the money I earned for 7 orders because of an alleged fine for just one order.

The charge once again was plagiarism. Infact, they accused me of plagiarising two orders. I had a strong case against them on both orders so they eventually droped one of the charges and chose to maintain one. Both charges were unjustified. It is even laughable to say that these self-styled folks in Kiev working for academia-research.com were not authorities in the chosen field that I wrote. Yet they stood their grounds and insisted their decision was final and eventually closed my account. They are real crooks and vampires who will stop at nothing to exploit their writers. I just wish writers will disregard them.

I had a strong case against them on both orders

What exactly does this mean? Either you plagiarized or you didn't...there's no "strong" or "weak" case.

Also, though I know this must look like my own personal crusade on this forum (OK, it is my own personal crusade), I find it difficult to muster sympathy for people who charge money for writing papers in English when their material shouldn't be accepted due to errors in grammar and syntax.

I FULLY ACKNOWLEDGE that many American (and probably British, though I have no personal experience here) students cannot write as well as alengajau; he is definitely one of the best obviously-ESL writers to have posted on this forum. BUT THIS POST IS STILL OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY SOMEONE WITHOUT FULL PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH.

Alengajau, you could get by in business conversations, philosophical discussions, and personal conversations very well, I'm sure. But just because students (and apparently their instructors) accept your work doesn't mean you deserve to be paid for it.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT WHAT AR DID WAS JUSTIFIED, according to all the posts here they're horrible cheating money-grubbing tards and I hope they rot in hell (given that they live in the Ukraine, perhaps they already are), but there is a sort of poetic justice in it for an English freak like me.

Almost everyone knows that they are the writing arm of MasterPapers. I just found out that they have a resume website called vdwriters.com! I almost fell on the floor laughing because any American or English speaker knows that the term V.D. means "Venereal Disease"! So, to name your website VDwriters.com is just a classic in my book. I wonder if that is a requirement to have a sexually transmitted disease before you can write for them? Sounds like a great way to not get hired. MasterPapers, academia-research and now VDwriters.com. WTF?

My SAD STORY

Academia-Research and their employee, known as Valery, is a fuc''''ing bit '''h who steals money from writers' accounts and does nothing to investigate a case.

I addressed her several times, but this bit''''c did nothing to help me. She did not even read the papers sending me false reports, system generated messages, etc.

Hope, one day this bit''h will be punished for all her practices and tricks.

Writers! Stop working for this company for free.

it's true that occassionally, AR employees, "someone named Valery" haaa, they all use fake names, anyway... sometimes they get greedy and raid accounts, but this does not automatically mean that their managers approve of such practices. if you contact AR management, they will usually refund you in the form of a bonus, and then punish the employee who stole from you. I've had it done before; I write for AR. if they want to keep you as a writer, they will want to keep you happy. why don't you try smoothing things out with AR management, before posting against the whole company on this message board, just because of a few bad apples working there? I like AR; they are crooks like everyone else in this industry, but they can be reasoned with and are occassionaly good-hearted, and the pay's not bad for supplemental income. try reasoning with someone in management. if you can get through on their phone line, ask for Raymond.

Dude, you really need to check the false accusations at the door.

Defending proven fraudsters and blatant liars doesn't exactly help your credibility, either.

Defending proven fraudsters and blatant liars

WB - approximately two years ago I clashed with you over AR. Was defending them back then :) Guess who turned out to be right :) Left because

1) they kept nagging me to post packages from my address in London to customers, in order to establish that they had a British presence
2) assigned me a revision and after I checked it, found that the other writer had plagiarised. Told them that it had to be rewritten. Guess what Alexei's response was? `Ignore it and just add the sections the customer requested. If the customer didn't notice ..'

3) were overloading me with orders (beyond human capacity)
4) Final straw was when they assigned me an order (revision) which was overdue and then fined me on the spot for its being late. Took one look at that and deactivated my account. They called to apologise several times but enough was enough.

Conclusion: WB you were right, I was wrong.

your definition of fraud is not fair. you call these companies frauds, just because they false advertise. they are legit companies providing legit services, most of them, which is why they have not gone out of business or been shut down. everyone is shady, and fraudy, but most of them that are still in business, basically provide people (dumb *****) with a product (papers).

some of them have horrible HR, but this does not make them frauds either.

also, whomever is doing it, where do you get off, canceling everything positive anyone tries to put on this site. there are a lot of people looking to you to provide them with a resource, and all you use it for is your nowhere quest to negative-land.

I have been trying to post a link to a legit site for the past few weeks. "the rules," please.

anyway, academia-research is not a fraud company. they are legitimately providing a service to customers, as they have been for years.

you think you have credibility? you have straw dogs and personal attacks.

and you "quote" your own material!

Defending proven fraudsters and blatant liars doesn't exactly help your credibility, either.

"proven," ffs. your idea of empiricism is a little hazy, I think...

Wrong. You have been SPAMMING your referrer link for personal profit. Who, exactly, do you think you are fooling? (By the way, if you do it one more time, I'll contact the site to have your referrer account closed and all of your papers permanently removed. I dare you to claim that I can't do it.)

anyway, academia-research is not a fraud company.

Yeah, they are no more frauds than you are a company stooge who profits from their illegal activities.

you think you have credibility?

I have over 4,000 posts. Please quote ONE false statement or claim that I have made. Step up, or shut up. (You can also accept my aforementioned challenge.)

I will continue to post my link whenever anyone posts a topic saying "help, all you people do is gripe, what are some legit companies."

and if I profit in doing so, so much the better. at least I'm doing something constructive!

thinking you have some kind of sway with Academon-- some kind of God complex, is more like it. plus, OCD. 4000 posts... get a life! how about 4000 papers in a paper bank, making a royalty stream? let me advise people on how to make some money in this forum. wtf is wrong with you? people like you are only happy when they are bringing something down. I'm sure all of your jilted-writer lap dogs would love to know how you are keeping them from a viable income stream. troll.

Hey rusty... I believe that you can post your link on essaynews.com. I mean, this is being advertised by the owners of this forum, right? So, I guess, telling people to go to essaynews.com, and then making sure that they see your link there couldn't be against the forum rules, could it?

Just a thought...

I repeat, my account is going to be just fine. listen to me, just because you are acting like a *****, I am going to let you in on something-- it has about thirty grand in it. you are going to have to overcome a thirty grand profit maker on something like spamming on a message board, which as far as this company is concerned, is free advertising. you are a complete goner, and a loony.

listen, *****, I used to work in customer service. it was during college, and it wasn't a very good job, but I had to deal with sour loonies like you on a daily basis, and it made me spend most of my off time getting wasted and throwing axes at patio furniture in frustration. you power-mad delusional uppity consumer. you feel all kinds of misplaced glory as a crusader, and morality and rights and entitlement about something crazy you can do absolutely nothing about. coo, coo. calm down. you are a fool. you will come again, giving someone else a hard time. and we have a word for you, as we laugh about you in between times, in the same tone of malicious laughter that older kids give cry-babies and tattle-tales.

do you know why? it is because people like you, WB, are nowhere near the money, and they are losers.

Couple of questions:
1) WB exposes the less than honest practices of some companies, provides evidence (and all of us know it's true anyway) and, yet, gets called a liar

2) Those who call her a fraudster/liar (etc) ... how about supporting your statements. She supports hers so, how about returning the courtesy?

Writers and customers, WB has 4000 posts, has exposed numerous acts of dishonesty in the industry and as a result, has made several enemies. Not one of them has ever been able to discredit her.

Few have the industry knowledge she does and none have so vehemently fought for customer and writer rights as she has. So, what is the problem?

Could the problem be that she is sometimes aggressive? Well, look at the posts directed her way and ask yourselves, wouldn't you be?

This forum is about exposing the scammers, protecting the rights of customers and writers. That is what she does.

Why so defensive? Do you have a chip on your shoulder? My comments were general, so why take them so personally?

WB, some of us have real evidence of AR's faudulent practices and the names of ex-admin who left, hate Alexei and wouldn't mind spilling the beans. Just say the word and I'll PM you the name and email of the person. Will send you the evidence as well. However, bet you some are going to say `so what? everbody does that!'

btw, WRT, you hopeless, clueless ****** toady, who asked you to get in the middle of other people's arguments? I think you need to start minding your own business, you ******* parrot.

Rustyironchains - I can swear like a drunken sailor who just made it to port, if I want to. You opened the door for that, after all. I won't. One reason - don't know you, don't care to personalise this and your swearing at me is meaningless. I asked a few questions, not directed at you. You chose to respond but your response had nothing to do with my post and therefore, means zilch. Want to swear some more? Go ahead. I stand by what I said.

Those who believe WB is a liar and a fraud, either post evidence or don't expect any right-minded person to treat these accusations seriously.
