Essay industry ratio for visitors to place an order?

Word RatioIf I have an average and simple website and have 100 unique and moderately targeted visitors a day, how many of them would actually place an order?

What is an average ratio in the essay industry? Is it more than 2-3% (average industry ratio)?

What steps should I take to increase the number of students who may be interested in my academic services?

Should I spend money for advertising or try to get free search visitors?

I plan to do some writing for students, but it would be mainly a site for my friend who is a full-time freelance writer. She currently does mostly editing, but she plans to dive more into custom writing and researching.

Aver, seriously, please take a minute to think about why the moderator keeps deleting and moving your posts.

The members of this forum are not here to help you or anyone else build a commercial enterprise through "survey" posts. Hire an industry researcher.

There was no such exact thread on that? But maybe you know the answer, any number?

What is an average ratio in the essay industry?

"American" websites: 2%
International websites: 6-10%

It is my genuine opinion. You want to ban a poster for expressing his opinion on a forum? :))

YOU are free to give your OPINION too, and I'll be glad to hear it.

It is my genuine opinion.

What you typed is NOT an "opinion." It is an intentional, propaganda-based, Ukrainian-site-owner-driven, misstatement of fact based upon absolutely no data. Plus, to make such a claim (or formulate such an "opinion"), you would need to have "inside" knowledge of the sales of both genuinely American sites and sites that openly admit to being non-American. (Foreign sites-like yours-that contain LIES about being "American" do not count.) So, where's your data?

What is the FACT then? You cannot prove that my statement is incorrect either.

Unlike you, I do not falsely purport to be fact ANYTHING that I cannot prove.

Your claim is inherently invalid. There is nothing for me to "prove incorrect" because you provided no evidence or data against which to base any would-be counterarguments. Wake up, fraudster.

Data provided can be false too..... who says with authenticity that information presented on internet forums is 100% true and verifiable?

Should I spend money for advertising or try to get free search visitors?

Definitely invest in advertising. Do not rely on free searches. I tried that at the beginning. I was using the free versions of Instragram and FB, hoping that my posts would be enough to entice clients. Then I realized that FB and Insta, along with Twitter and other social media sites, were quashing my posts and hiding my threads. This was before the age of Big Tech meddling in the work of others. At the time, they were only out to force the companies and industrious individuals to place advertising so that the company would have added revenue from individuals. Once I learned that this was happening, I paid my way and the students started flowing in like an open faucet. The suggested pages advertising actually works to the benefit of the individual or company owner.

I wonder what the new ratio is for the academic writing sites and freelance writers. With the students in the grips of AI mania, they are not flocking to the human writing assisted services at the moment. The traffic is not 0, but it is definitely not what it used to be. I would be interested to find out how AI has affected traffic to these websites. Did it really slow down the traffic or, is that a myth? Some of those I have spoken to said the audience dipped for a bit, but the crowd is now returning to normal. It appears the students are now becoming wise to the AI limitations in terms of writing and some have decided to return to human writing services.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

Most of my existing clients who tried AI quickly realized that it's completely inadequate for their needs because AI writing is substantially devoid of any kind of analysis and the essays that it produces just can't compare to (good) human writing.
