Found this website recently. Has anyone worked with them? Does anyone know if it's legit or not?

The site is using a Russian web analytic tool (normally not used by services in Western countries). No information about the service location or services - just an insecure form to enter email and create password (which may happen to be the same as your email's password). Anyway, what do you - as a freelance writer - think about the legitimacy of the site, how do you like it?

I can't say for sure, since I haven't completed any orders for them. Overall the website looked fine to me, but lack of reviews made me doubt its legitimacy

They have a slick Web site and appear to be legit. If anyone signs up, please let us know how it goes.

The website's script is quite common. I have seen the exact same script when I was signing up for StudyDaddy and WritersDepartment

All the websites are made to appear classy and legit. That is how they attract the attention and immediate trust of the student. It is only when you actually start dealing with them that the pageantry of the site becomes useless and questionable to the user. Always assume that the sites you deal with are not legit, until you are able to prove otherwise. It is up to the company and its writers to prove their legitimacy to the potential client. So make it difficult for them. Make their prove they are above board. They need your business more than you need their services.

The writing company seems to be trying to stave off the development of AI throughout the industry by diversifying their writer's field of work. They are casting a wider net over the profession to keep their writers active. In the process, they have made it more demanding to be a freelancer writer. I believe that with the innovations that the company has done in terms of diversifying their writers field of work, they were able to stretch the existence of the human writer over several years.

Respectfully, I'm curious about how AI could possibly have made it more demanding to become a freelance writer, because, in my opinion, AI only makes it that much easier for people who have absolutely no business taking money from anybody for "writing" to pretend to be "writers" and (also) to dupe essay companies into selling their AI-generated essays, even if that isn't the intention of those companies.

Since AI can produce text that is acceptable to students, not necessarily the teachers, and AI removes their worry about academic blackmail, the students prefer AI written essays over the human written ones. Human writers need to now prove not only their writing acumen, but also their true knowledge in terms of subjects they were hired to write and also, the writers and writing companies need to prove that they are not scams or blackmailer. These considerations make it more demanding to be a human academic writer these days.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

Based substantially on what some of my clients have shared with me about their experiments with AI-generated and AI-"assisted" essays, the only students who really consider AI essays acceptable are those who haven't yet received grades on them. After all, the only reason that students write these essays in the first place is to come up with something that their professors will consider acceptable.
