Internet Writing ServicesHi Somasu:

I would categorize writing services and academic writers working as ghostwriters into the following categories:

1. Custom written from scratch - you give the writer the topic and, perhaps, suggest some references, and let them go to work. usually your most expensive option.

2. Editorial services - you write the paper (or partial paper) yourself and then have the writer help you. it can be as simple as having the writer check for grammar and spelling mistakes or more complicated, such as having the writer integrate several different bodies of work into a coherent whole.

3. Some combination of 1 and 2. #3 tends to be a less expensive option (per page) than #1 but more expensive than #2 because the writer doesn't write the complete work (to edit pre-existing work will generally be less expensive than to write it from scratch). of course, both #2 and #3 requires more effort on the part of the client.

4. Pre-written essay papers purchased from essay banks. you just buy a paper that fits your topic from someone. since this is not a custom service, it's possible that hundreds of copies of the paper are floating around in the ether. the upside is that it tends to be less expensive. i don't know much about this option personally.

I hope that helps!

any of the services that you list and more. the internet blew the roof off of any limitation to finding a writer qualified to write on just about any topic in pretty much any format imaginable.

Just as an update for this post, the writing companies are no longer limited to academic writing. They also dabble in hired blogging, paid company reviews, advertising copy, and any other sort of paper that can be imagined. If you want a paper written, regardless of the type, the writing company will be able to assign a writer to your job. However, that is not an assurance that you will get a high quality writer to complete your task.

Independent writers proliferate the internet more than the writing companies these days. These are the writers who have wised up and learned how to get ahead in the writing game by eliminating the middle man. They too can offer to write any sort of writing task a client may require. From academic to professional writing, an independent writer exists to deliver the service that you require. Just contact them directly through any hiring platforms in order to receive the kind of service that a writing company won't be able to deliver to you.

Many of the same writing companies also offer resume services and other writing related projects such as user studies (i.e. reporting on website functionality, making recommendations, etc.). There are many other types of writing gigs out there, but you have to look and be willing (and able) to diversify. And if you aren't sure if a company or writer offers a specific service, ask. You never know!

In general, a good writer should be able to provide just about any kind of project you need, whether that's a traditional academic essay, resume & cover letter, program application, class forum post, professional blog entry, or business white paper.

With respect to the original response to the OP in this 11-year-old thread that has now been resurrected, this business has changed very significantly since 2007. There is no longer the same (if any) demand for or value in pre-written academic essays as there might still have been back in 2007.

A freelance writer can write about anything and everything under the sun. The question is not "what can the writers write?" The question should be "What can a writer not write?" The answer, nothing. A truly competent writer can deliver any type of paper that a client needs. Anything from an academic paper, to a ghost written speech or screenplay should be easily accomplished by such writers. These days, writers need to be able to write about anything because his constant employment depends upon it. If he doesn't know how to write about a certain field, then he has to learn fast or he will lose relevance fast. Clients do not have the time to train writers, they expect the writers to be competent in all writing fields from the get-go.

I disagree with that, and I'm about as versatile a writer as anybody, having written both academic and non-academic projects across an incredibly wide range of subject areas. Even an excellent and highly-experienced writer needs to know his limitations. There are some subject areas that I can confidently take on at the UK PhD level and others that I wouldn't touch beyond the undergraduate US level. It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes I have to turn down projects because I just don't feel confident enough about them and would rather skip them than have any disappointed clients. In the long run, I'd much rather err on the safe side and wait for those clients to order a project that I can take with confidence. Those clients also seem to appreciate that because they realize immediately that only legit writers ever turn away projects for which clients are willing to pay quite a lot of money.

The remaining online freelance writers can pretty much write anything that you need them to. The writing that come from the human writers, not necessarily academic writers, ensures that the client will get a paper that contains heart, rather than a polished paper that was generated by an AI and is aimed at ticking off expected boxes, instead of writing from the heart that allows the paper to surpass the expectations of the reader. Independent writers come up with better papers because they are not controlled by a program that limits how they write the paper. We are not just about content and keywords, we are about the humanity that a paper requires to get its message across.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

There are many websites available online, so you should be clear about what you are looking for, why you need it, and where you are searching.
