I am a student from UK, as all of us I was swamped with academic stuff and decided to seek some help on my Dissertation Proposal (3k words). The above-mentioned sites offered a good price and their advisers on the website chat were very engaging. They offered a call, I have had discussion with chap called Frank, not really sure their names are real (didn't you have that feeling when dealing with these sort of shady organisations). After the call I have sent file with an outline of what I require and later Frank happily confirmed that they found researcher for my topic and this can be done at distinction level by the deadline (which was 5 days). I hesitated but Frank convinced me that they have a full refund policy anyway if you don't like the work (LIE !!! You'll never see your money). I received the file by the deadline and here it comes:

Pen My Paper- Opened the file ... formatting looks awful - capital letters in the middle of the sentences, gaps all over the place, etc.

- Started to read it - by 200-250 words I realised that this doesn't make sense I couldn't follow the ideas at all. Realised it's a compilation of copy & pasted definitions from the textbooksdefining various research strategies i.e. what is the research design, methods, etc.

- Literature review sections has no books or articles mentioned at all (not a single piece of literature), imagine this!!! It just rambles on how to review literature and blah blah

- Relevance to my topic - c.15%. Effectively writer copy & pastes your research title and fill in most of space with random paragraphs containing words from your topicso it looks like it was produced for you. All wording easily accessible on websites or books and are not adjusted to your research at all.

- Summary:

>> 85% ready-made badly assembled pieces of text which can largely be applied to any dissertation proposal and have no relevance to your >> 25% random wording containing words from your topic

- Your potential loss: over GBP 350+ potentially you will need to pay other agency if need the work to be done by someone

- Asked for a refund same ... and as you can imagine pleasant advisers turn into ghosts ... in 2 days time I hardly got one on the live chat who after 30 minutes conversation said "Adam: well refund is not possible according to the situation only compensation can be offered" - i.e. they wanted me to buy more services from them which for me sounded like = pay us more and fail your Degree.

Eventually went to ukessays and paid another £ 800 - love student life.

It appears from your post you're on a budget -- but then why would you want to overpay 200-300% for an UKessays service (considering the fact you can get the same or almost the same quality from another reputable UK or US-based provider). I'm not sure if a 5-10% better quality (it's still debatable if the quality would actually be better since it all depends on the freelance writer assigned to your order and the same freelance writer usually works for other - competing - services) is worth 200% extra.

Folks, to give an update on this, after severely protracted discussions lasting for over a month time with multiple representatives of this company via chats, emails and finally calls I managed to get some refund from the company while other firm in the meantime has performed a decent job by delivering a good paper.

Again, this is an example of why your gut feeling is always right. If something doesn't feel right from the start of the transaction, it would be best to either delay the signing of the contract with the company or, just skip it altogether. If you feel like the person on the other end of the line is trying his hardest to sell you on the idea of picking up on their service, chances are, you are in for a nightmare ride with this company.

You can also bet that the name of the person on the other end of the phone conversation you had was not Frank. These companies often have their people use fake names rather than their real European names because that would give away the fact that their services are based on lies. If the person on the other end of the line has an accent that doesn't make his spoken English sound like it is rolling off his tongue, chances are, you are being duped.

Whenever possible, most specially when you are on a budget, it would be best to hire an independent freelance academic writer instead. Freelance writers are normally cheaper in cost as they can negotiate their price per page. That is how they can manage to deliver higher quality papers. They deal with the clients directly.

While some academic writing companies do have high quality writers, the problem is that the company "bids" the paper out to their pool of writers. So, while the proficient writers may be part of the pool, there is a higher chance of a cheaper, less skilled writer working on a complex order because of budget constraints (for instance) on the part of the client. I believe that this is what happened when you placed your order. The company did not really screen for the perfect writer for your paper. They screened for the lowest cost per page writer they had who could probably deliver your paper, but not at the quality that you expected. The only concern of that company was to make you part with your money. They did not really care about you, your grade, or your client experience with them.

Academic writing companies that advertise budget rates are no better than a $1 home available in Italy. You get what you pay for. Of course it will be crummy work. You can't expect quality when you are paying merely for quantity of words. The owners of the company don't care if their writers deliver crap. As long as your payment clears. Forget refunds. They are real scammers who run when they get what they want. Next time, don't be a cheapskate. Pay for quality, hire an independent writer or, pay more for the writing service. How else do you expect to get what you paid for?

There is something strange about this company. It has an existing anchor page that indicates the different sections of the website. However, these sections are not active. Even the instant quote is offline for some reason. What is "active" is the chat room, but I waited and waited yet no agent came online to assist me. So I am not sure if this site is still connected to an active company or not. It would be best to exercise caution and simply not deal with them. Do not risk it.
