The Term Paper Revision Firm from UK (don't write for them)

Please don't write for The Term Paper Revision in the UK. They publish personal details and send it to your university if you're a student writer. Money is not worth risking it, that is, if you ever get it. As essays have disappeared, we do CVs, applications, personal statements and research proposals etc. and you too can write on your own without depending on the writing companies. Of course, if you find an excellent one, that is a different matter altogether.

Do they really do that?! You should report them ... this is nothing other than disgusting blackmail!

Oh, they do. A student writer cannot afford to complain. He/She will be lucky if she doesn't get thrown out of the university.

This is one of the most unethical things I have ever heard of! Basically they are thieves and they respond to the rightful demand for wages through blackmail! Who is the owner?

You cannot dare to say that you weren't paid unless you have a desire to see your name and your university name all over the forums with the filthiest of the insults. It is followed by the threats to approach the media and the university/supervisor. Which student writer can dare to complain against such a company?! A friend of mine was threatened that her address might be made available to the clients. Same goes to Project 1st class.

Academia are cheats and take away your money; but I am not aware of threatening the writers. They are the best of the lot. This is a murky field.

Serene, I just accessed and read through the thread where Pete had multiple tantrums. He's absolute insane; only a raving lunatic would ever rant and publicly succumb to epileptic fits the way he did. I have never come across anything even remotely comparable to that sub-human, mentally deranged creature. What does he do about students who don't pay (charge back or whatever)? Order one of his equally loony goonies to kill them? Serene - it really isn't right that none lodge a complaint against him. UK employee and consumer protection laws are extremely stringent. Report him for harassment! This guy needs a straitjacket!

OR, we had a plan to expose the Project 1st class. Emails written to individual writers who begged for payments were even more colorful. They were outright blackmailing. Threatening to write to the universities, giving details to the media, sending goons to the given addresses etc. etc. Then the second Pete published my friend's name and wrote to her that he would give her address to so-called clients. First peter had already threatened to do that with at least two of my other friends. They declined to help me in unmasking them. I cannot blame them at all. Students have to be very careful. All supervisors and universities are not sympathetic. So there was nothing else to do. You should see the way they deal with international students and student writers. It is unbelievable. These thugs are aware that international students have many limitations like working hours, work permit, paying tax, going beyond permitted hours, supervisor control, visa problems, Home Department regulations, financial limitations and limited time etc. and take advantage.

But Serene ... this is not acceptable! Even if they don't want to lodge a complaint, the authorities should be tipped and they will take it from there. This isn't a jungle ... Look, I thought academia were scum but this is a whole new level of scum! Even if I (for the sake of argument) accept what he says about the work of the writers in question ... the fact is that he hired them on that basis and hence, is required to pay them. He says that they claimed to have certain certificates but he found that to be untrue - it was his responsibility to check it out prior to assigning them work! He cannot, after assigning them work (thereby entering into a contract for service) backtrack on the issue of payment by referencing their (poor) work and (lack of) certificates - it is not legal. THERE IS NO EXCUSE.

But they don't blackmail either the writers or the students. Project 1st class takes the writers any time and you don't have to even send your qualifications. You work for two months in perfect harmony and when the amount is beyond £500, you are told that there was a plagiarizing attempt on your part and your entire amount is forfeited and you owe the company £500 for making it lose the customers and 'our people' should be coming to your address to collect this amount!

Term Paper Revision goes one step further. After begging the writer (who had to reject some of the offers because she was busy) again and again to write more and more papers, he refused to pay and when I mentioned it here, he wrote to the university, sent her details here and wrote to the supervisor. If you go through those postings, you can read him reiterating that he would do so to all the writers who complain.

Also please note that he did not post even one line from the 'allegedly stupid' paper. He wrote to her that if she dared to post it here, he would give her address to the 'clients' who 'might like to return the favour'.

Students cannot risk it. Writers neither. I think this topic's discussion has been exhausted, so could you please close it now, thank you.
