Hi!
At uvocorp latest payment date was 16 october, but they still haven't paid me. They claim that their account was temporarily suspended for review by moneybookers.

Does anyone have similar problem with uvo or you've received your money already?

their account was temporarily suspended for review by moneybookers

This would be a good time to send valid complaints to moneybookers.

Uvocorp payments for writers

Hi
i live in Ukraine and i read some of the posts in which you say that uvocorp and other of their sites belong to ukranians and often mistreat the writers. i think i can collect some interesting info about them here in Ukraine.

To do it i need to know what you already know about them.
for example..
1. when they are paying for the papers they use webmoney and paypal accounts that are registered on their legal entity in uk or not? anyone knows something about that?

They pay through a company called Freelance Brownie Corp or Brownie Freelance....can't remember which. And their paypal account has constant issues due to the number of chargebacks and complaints received.

uvocorp is a company that doesnt know how to compute simple math . They seem to believe that their writers do not know how to count the calendar months either. They believe that they can delay payments up to 6 months and the writers will hang on and keep working for free , or until the company decides to pay them. The company is a scam on both ands. The owners con both the clients and writers. How students keep hiring the company knowing these facts is beyond me. Why the writers still keep applying to work for them is another mystery . However, I do not approve of their regular writers practice of not submitting work on time or failing to submit at all in an effort to punish the company.

A quick visit to the current incarnation of UVOCorp shows that they are at least trying to be honest with their potential student clients. They now indicate that they employ both ESL and ENL writers, at different rates. Of course the ENL writers recieve what the company percieves to be "fair page per page", which is still too low in my opinion, while the ESL writers recieve a slightly lower rate. I commend them for their honest about the types of writers they employ. That is not to say that they already pay their writers on time. The company has never been known to be up to date with their payments. They are always a quarter behind in their payment schedule. Hey, a leopard will not change its spots ! So work for them at your own risk. Students, beware the writer you hire. They already told you there is a possibility you won't get a quality paper from them through the differentiation of their writer status.
