I have put an order on Smart College Research on Friday, 9 pages in 1 day, as I need to hand it in on Monday
Before my deadline, the writer told me that he need more time and send me 3 pages he has done, the quality is not so bad, then I said "ok but asap".
But now, 20 hours after my setting deadline, no writer response, no support response, NOBODY THERE. Aren't they 7-days operating? I need the paper actually, but may I request a partial refund for the delay? And what shall I do right now.

As Pheelkys say: "Call your credit card company and start a chargeback."
But in reality you may not win and it can bring you more trouble than it's actually worth it.
pheelyks
So you agreed to give your writer an extension, and now you're upset because they're using it? Hmmm...

Because I didn't have time to find another one, and I haven't though "need a little more time" means 20 hours and more.
I haven't slept in the 20 hours, and keep trying to contact him in last 10 hours, but NO response; then contact to the support, NO response.
Because they have provided previous services, so I did NOT say they are scammers, I just complain the deal.
The good news is, the support has replied right now, said my order will be finished shortly.
Is it possible for me to request the different prices between 1-day and 2-day order? Has any precedent?
I just worry that my research paper will not be delivered on time and I lose points because of that. Makes sense?

Just coz pheelyks let WritersBeware know to look up your order in their admin panel and it did job.

You're such a tool, stu4.

And you fool if you think readers get fooled.
pheelyks
No, I think readers know exactly where you and I stand.

Everybody know you are peddler and agent.
pheelyks
Everyone knows I'm a writer, and they know who I write for if they've read the forum for any length of time. I am not an agent of any company.

I am not an agent of any company.
You are both agent and peddler who go especially for unsuspected ESL students who dont know the truth about your threaten school activities.
pheelyks
You are both agent and peddler
Nope.
I'm just a ghostwriter for hire who works with college and university students, that's all.
go especially for unsuspected ESL s
Nope (even if you used the right word).
who dont know the truth about your threaten school activities.
Nope (even if you made sense).

Ask criminal in jail if they guilty - you get 3 nope too.
pheelyks
Your logic is horribly flawed. Anyone that denies being a criminal is a criminal, is basically what you conclude. What does that say about you, exactly?
Actually, I like reading your quarrel online, no matter who are right or wrong, it makes me learn native speaking soon!
In our online language, we call it "mouth cannon", or "academic" translation as "oral artillery"
How did you say that in native speaking?
By the way, my order hasn't been finished yet, sigh..........
Smart College Research is run by 2-3 guys who operate it from home most probably and cover up their lack of customer support saying being natives they cannot afford to have 24/7 service. LOL. They aren't natives for sure.
WritersBeware
Klosegoal, an ESL idiot, has made a serious accusation without any evidence. It should be removed.
All you need is common sense to prove that Smart College Research and your dubious operations are not led by natives. So the parent company of Smart College Research is "non-existent" Professional Writers (LLC, perhaps)? LOL. Btw, Bashing the ESLs and non-natives do not make you a native, WB:) Only ESLs can the understand your shoddy tactics of running a business, natives are far too gullible.
Simply put Smart College Research is a horrible company. It is a travesty that they take the money of an individual and then do not deliver a service. With that said, I have learned my lesson. First time using a writing service, last time using a writing service! Dispute the charge, I certainly will. I had started my own paper even after I sent the order in for the service, however I still did not finish in time. They promised it would be reassigned after it appeared that a sixth grader who basically was anti-American and knew nothing about the topic attempted to write the paper. Just a horrible experience overall. I agree, no luck with the e-mails when asking if the product is coming either. Stay AWAY from this company, although I am not sure at this point if there are reputable ones out there.

Gee, what a surprise-no REQUIRED order number from "janek2013." DELETE.
College Research most probably outsourced your paper to some high school fella who would have settled for only a fraction of what you paid hence this outcome. Sad story but that is a grim reality of how these companies capitalize on the all-native-writers bandwagon. There is only a handful of good writing services and if you luckily find one, stick to them. Take my advice, don't be misled by the "all-native-PHD-writers" banner since its nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
Amen to what klosegoal said. I suspect the outsourcing is done to some poor unfortunate in the developing or underdeveloped world who's first language is not English, and if it is, they don't have access to a proper library and completely cut and paste crap from online sources and always use the APA reference method regardless of what you require or ask for.
who's first language is not English,
This should not be a cause for concern. I am not a native but can churn out quality content given my education and professional writing experience. The alarming fact is these companies do not outsource their work to a minority of decent and educated individuals(non-natives of course) since they do not work for such cheap rates. They assign the work to ****************** who neither have penchant for scholarly academic writing nor the ability to write decent English.
No offence intended to you, klosegoal. Clearly you're perfectly bilingual. The trouble of course, as you correctly indicate, is finding the right people who are able to write scholarly work as well as having sufficient fluency.
Never had any dealings with Smart College Research so I can't comment on their legitimacy, but it seems 1 day to complete a nine-page paper was a bit careless on Odyssey's part. Give yourself a bit more breathing room next time, love.

Never had any dealings with College Research
...but I'll go ahead and comment in this thread anyway.....
pheelyks, if you think I'm trolling this forum then you need to take a really good look at yourself and some of the things you've written on here... Most of it is caustic, unnecessarily aggressive, sarcastic, attention-seeking put-downs of other forum users. Get a grip.
So what if I want people to know that I'm a writer and that am looking for clients? Who are you to judge me or anybody else? You clearly have a chip on your shoulder and way too much time on your hands, so am just going to ignore you from now on.
WritersBeware
who's first language is not English.
You don't have the slightest clue WTF you're "talking" about. I "suspect" that you're a know-nothing doosh.
He is explaining the modus operandi of Smart College Research.
pheelyks
That doesn't even make sense.
I have uploaded the screenshot of my order to let you know the truth (hope the picasa works).
If you received it before your deadline, what is the problem now? According to the company's TOS, you can't turn it in the paper, I understand, but, in that case, you should have ordered the paper at least a week before your deadline. Still, someone took your order up and completed it before your deadline.
Another point is: the company should not take the order that its writers cannot complete within the specified deadline.
WritersBeware
And now we have an IDIOT complaining about an order received BEFORE it was due.
This just proves to me yet again that some of these "orders" are coming in from fake customers trying to stir up trouble.
Say Pheelyks and Writers Beware, when do you have time to write all those papers, because you seem to spend all your time on here? LOL
Now go ahead and pounce on me. I think I'm going to start having some fun around here.

You have made a lot of posts today; though almost all of them do not make any sense (at least to me), it seems that you achieved your target of contacting someone here. It'd be better if your future posts make some sense. Would you be continuing to post on this forum? I wonder....
