@WriterBeware - I justr stumbled on this site last week. You're right I should have researched before getting on board
writersPHscam - count me in
How come some of the people in the forum like pipi got paid?
I think the company will fold once the writers refused to work
I told the crooks that if they want us to continue working for them they should pay up first!
Look at their attempt at diplomacy --
Thank you for telling us your concern. The accounting dept will be more than willing to accept your suggestion. Your concern will be treated with the highest of priorities
Best regards,
Curtis Jackson
Anyone got generic statements like this too?
Is pipi not "one of them"? Per my last conversation with the support, they were taking actions on my account now (to verify my account and process my salary).. but i do not believe, not until I have my salary in my bank account..
Yes I had. They sent me this:
Dear xxx,
We are coordinating with the billing department. I am going to assure you that this is being attended to with the highest priority.
Best regards,
Curtis Jackson
did you get to talk to the local support regarding the pay?
- yes i asked them regarding that already. first they said that they were verifying the account that i gave them. then, up until now, they're still verifying. i message them everyday, thrice a day, and guess what? they fined me 8 dollars for "spamming" the system. wow!
kian91919, your "paid" writers.ph earnings report sounds incredible.
Actual Payments by paid date Paid Invoice
For about $2 per page, you were able to earn $678.2/$821.1/$544/$1162 in a period of 2 weeks each? You work incredibly fast! And for that speed, you have had no problems with plagiarism or negative feedback? Are you real?

Yes, its true. I can accumulate $150-200 a day depending on the order
correction please it's pepi not pipi. i experienced minor delays before. i have not read the new payment scheme until now. i called writers.ph as to why they are doing this? especially with a part-time writers like me. i only have $26.60 for my next salary payment. i asked them whay would they deduct $15 from my hard earned money??? now, i would only get $11.60? the operator said she will call me back and that she will forward my concern to their main company. in the meantime, i sent them a message online regarding my complaints.
she called me back after half and hour. she explained to me that the $400 was now reduced to $50 which means i would not be able to get my $26.60 not until i reach the full amount of $50 for the payment to be processed. out of that $50 i would only get $35. the problem is that even before this new payment scheme i get a total deduction of $6.30 every salary payment. so now, i'm looking at $21.30 worth of deductions.
i haven't been writing lately. it seems that i don't have any other means to find a writing job that's why i can't quit. i've sent my resume to topnotchwriters.com and i got accepted the problem is until now they are not forwarding any orders.
@writerPHscam---- no, i am not one of them. i just have a diffrent way of handling things. i deal with them professionally by writing formal complaints. i would call their office and speak to them regarding my concerns. i got paid three times with deductions here and there. they pay me maybe because it's only at a minimum? i don't know. i gave them the correct details regarding my bank account and so far i get paid through that with a 3-5 days delay.
Does anybody know the following details for Bank of the Philippine Islands?
The ABA number of your bank's CORRESPONDING BANK in the USA:
Intermediary bank identifier:
Intermediary bank name:
Intermediary bank address:
I cannot obtain my payment without obtaining these details. My bank is BPI.
Ask your bank Kian. They'll give you those information if you'll give them a call.
I have worked for EW for more than a year(off and on) and had my fair share of ultra delayed payments; allegations for plagiarized work (resolved after a lengthy written discussion point by point); supposedly cancelled orders with different reasons; manipulated orders, etc..you name, it I have it!
After I encountered problems with Academia in the past, I vowed that I should hunt this big time essay fraudsters. Although I worked less, I made it a point to gather as much evidence I can get from them upon the advice of a moderator from another site.
If anyone is interested, do let me know.
Another important matter is the bank charge issue. EW has apparently set up a satellite office in Luzon, Philippines. This coincided with the information given to me by my bank that remittances to my account no longer came from another nook on earth but right here in my own country.
If this is the case..then they ripped Filipino writers with the $15 bank transfer charges! It only takes 100 peso max -- nothing (BDO and Unionbank) to send money inter-branch!
The Filipino counterpart therefore has a lot to answer!
I am also sending the rest of the hard copies as proof to EW's domain server. I have filed a written complaint and an aunt based in Arizona will handcarry the facts to a family member who is interested; whom I have also given my Special Power of Attorney.
EW is holding around $157 from my salary, although charges were purportedly and illegally added up. This is a measly sum in exchange for all the trouble but the question is no longer money--it is the principle behind every scam committed to writers!
well, i am glad writers.ph paid me now. after countless follow-ups to them (like i messaged them 10x a day), oh well, I have my money now. i got $369.. lucky for me. anyone got their money now?
to PIPI-- please tell me when you are going to the writers.ph office in Makati. I'll come with you.. Please tell me the address of their office.
@momosigh---- it's pepi not pipi. i haven't gone to their office in makati yet. i got paid three times. i still have $32.00 unpaid salary. i don't think they will pay me soon since they have a new policy that is, you have to write at least a total of $50. i got tired, i'm not writing anymore since i'll just be writing for the $15 deduction every pay check. before i used to write one article a day for a $5 or $7 paper. it's just too much now. i don't know if you can call that scamming since they paid me before but with this exorbitant deduction, it just makes me stop and think.
you can call writers.ph at 856-1781. the company's address is 2nd flr. executive bldg., makati ave., makati city.
good luck!
thank you very much.. pepi..
got mine after like 4 months?? and they still owe me around 70 dollars. but who cares? i have stopped writing for them the moment they sent me "plagiarism" complaints.

Are there others who still write for writers.ph?
Thanks

Geez, can't you just READ the thread and make an informed decision? I think the facts are pretty clear.

Hi
tips and tricks
Do not plagiarize and make sure you follow the instructions of the client
never mind the delays and deductions, i can do way with it
With the delays, I'm not sure but I know they are doing their best to prevent it. On the other hand, the deductions are inevitable especially if you are doing all sorts of plagiarism.
That's all I guess
I've been reading the forum posts and I've become disheartened about applying at writers.ph. How delayed are the payments exactly? How do they prove the plagiarism? Or do they just make that up to dock part of your pay?
Btw, am a full-time working mom writing part-time for business outsource companies. I'm hoping this forum will prove a big help.
I have a friend who is also a freelance writer and she is currently writing for writers.ph. She told me that the current rate being placed by their company is only $2.1 to $2.8 when the advertised pay rate is more than $7 per page.
Don't you think these rates are way too abusive?
WritersBeware
writers.ph = essaywriters.net
is essaywriters.net ok?
donditiples;
forget payment. they do not intend to pay you at all. after all, writers.ph, rushessay.com, essaywriters.net (and i am yet to find more i guess) are the SAME ONES!!! so run away from these sites. that is why they are in constant search of new writers... from different sites. they use the same chat software and the bloody same operators... JASON AND SUSAN... they will claim the companies to be affiliates.. mere afiliates.. pooh! (:big JOKE:).
kaihoc
are you new here? havent you heard enough of the company yet.. yet if u still dont believe just go and try ur luck.. i will not waste my good luck wishes
very, very low rates, yes. since i think they ask their customers to pay for like 10 dollars/page. but its actually up to you if you want to take those orders.
after countless follow-ups to them (like i messaged them 10x a day)
You didn't get fined for that? i got fined 8 dollars for "spamming" them.
How delayed are the payments exactly? How do they prove the plagiarism? Or do they just make that up to dock part of your pay?
I dont know but since I switched to xoom payment option from the bank account wiring, i get my payments on time. sometimes even earlier by a day or two. Like my sept 1 payment i got august 29.
Plagiarism: just make sure you rewrite/paraphrase everything and keep quotes to a minimum, like just 1 per page.
How many days does it usually take for wire transfer? According to my friend, it only takes five days but are there any times that wired payments take more than this time frame?
It usually takes upto 7 days for wire transfer payments........in some cases even 9 days.
As far as I know, it only takes three days for non-U.S transactions
you dumb ***holes, i have been working in the writers.ph office as a writer and i always get paid on time, you musty understand that there a 15-day period wherein the papers are checked for plagiarism or client feedbacks before you get paid, that's protocol. it's made to ensure that the papers are of good quality and don't complain about fines because you only get fined when you plagiariaze, received a negative feedback and quality assurance indicated that the paper is indeed flawed or a late order. you can even ask for the fines to be lifted if you can prove that you shouldn't be fined, just don't spam and be polite with support
WritersBeware
ambo, your insults are not welcome here. You quite obviously own or are employed by the company; hence, your venom.
Brilliant deduction, Holmes. :D
WritersBeware
By "work for," I don't mean as a writer. That much is obvious.
Sigh... so you don't believe that this guy's a writer?
WritersBeware
Have you read his posts in multiple threads? You think that tone is of a "writer" who has no personal stake in the company?
I say it's very possible. You've accused me of the same crap a long time ago and I think that I've more than proven to everyone here that I'm a writer for my company and not a henchman. ^_^
Hi guys,
However accounts has been termnated may help me to know the following, if you log in your account does it open, if it opens, doest show earning deatails?
Please help
Does any know about eduwriters.com? how do they pay, are they scam
Hi guys,
Whoever accounts has been terminated may help me to know the following, if you log in your account does it open, if it opens, doest show earning details?
Please help
I dont know. Were you terminated? I think you should call the main office. There's a number on their website i think.
NEWS: writers.ph pays its writers on time... but unfortunately, not always in full.
You get your orders suddenly canceled after you have already submitted the paper to them!
"The client decided not to proceed with the order."... just that and poof! all your hard work will yield nothing!! not even a good explanation...
