Anyone have any experience having Amon write for them? I understand recommendations aren't allowed - but I would like some feedback from others PLEASE.

He's definitely not as smart as he thinks he is, but that's all I can really tell from his posts. His grammar's alright, but I can't attest to the quality of his papers.

Well, I have spoke and he knows his stuff about the core topics I need covered so I don't doubt his knowledge. But thanks for your feedback, I'm looking more for those who know him well, or those who have perhaps utilised his services in the past.

One thing I can say so far without having the work completed yet (only ordered today) is that he is very good at keeping me regularly updated and staying in touch - which calms the nerves from a customers point of view!

I just want to know how well established he is, I know there was mention of being highly recommended by a few people, though I cannot remember whom so was hoping those people may indeed come forward!

I don't think that's allowed but for as long as the mods choose to let this thread stay up, I'd ask my customers to do the same and relate their experiences with me to others out of fairness. Judging by his nonsensical posts here (especially on legal issues), the guy has absolutely no idea when he doesn't know the first thing about a topic and it doesn't stop him from expounding on it as though he does. If I were a potential client, I'd shy away from anybody with that "quality" as a writer.

Interesting how you had to post that on the thread. It almost seems like well... perhaps we all know what it almost seems like. ^___^

My two cents on Amon? He will not write you "model" dissertations, just "model" essays on "How to be anything you want to be." Plus, he will refuse your order if his spider-sense tells him that you have ordered too many papers for your own good already (not that you'd want to order one from him to begin with but hey... maybe that's precisely what he wants you to think)

I think he's been trying to establish his presence in this forum as a ploy to draw potential clients' attention. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that the way he does it is so darn tacky. :)

I understand what you're saying, so thanks for the feedback EW. Well, still a few days away from deadline but a lot of support has come in and I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

Also, what exactly are you trying to imply by saying it looks like something as I had simply wrote that I had dropped him an email? Just to clarify so it does not look dodgy - I email from a Gmail account with a lot of jumbled up letters, it's quite common that my emails go to a spam folder - hence the notice.

Regardless, I have spoke to FW, and many others thanks to this thread and I'm happy knowing there are good quality legitimate writers out there still vying for business.

And yet, I don't engage in character assassination of other writers on the board until they do so repeatedly despite repeated offers to back off. "Tacky" indeed.

I just had to post an update.

Amon has sent me, in better time than promised, every single assignment, all 5, that I had ordered.

Whilst I obviously don't have it graded yet, from reading it it definitely looks like it fulfills the criteria for 1st Class work, or at the minimum a good 2:1. He has great sources, typically has at least 10-15 sources and citations but not just copied huge chunks of text. Great analysis and has always kept me well informed along the whole way.

I hope this gets the grade I feel it should due to the fact it fulfills what was set out in my criteria as being 1st Class work from the university, but regardless, Amon couldn't be anymore highly recommended.

Fantastic guy. Fantastic service.

I just had to post an update.

To my understanding you are a partner (most likely one of his writers) of 'Amon Essays', not a real client.

Wow, that's quite pathetic.

Um? WB I appreciate your work all throughout, as I would've lost my money on various sites reported as scams on here but I haven't known him before this - anyone else can vouch for that, so don't jump the gun calling me pathetic.

And just FYI, I had tried FreelanceWriter (who was very honest and said he didn't feel confident writing of a 1st Class standard on the assignments I had sent to him) and others on this board.

That's true. If I don't think I can promise to meet a specific level on a particular topic, I won't take it on and I'm more likely to err on the safe side with UK standards in general.

WRT can also confirm that RNH is NOT a shill. Dear God, I barely have enough time to play a little bit of TF2 with my schedule, let alone manage shills or do it myself!

Also: Excellent policy, FW. I really hope I can get to the point where I have to turn down clients... then again, I also dread that day, because I don't know if they won't get a good deal and won't be able to manage that unless I do it myself. I loathe giving it to freelancers, even people who I know are incredible writers and super-trustworthy. But I definitely do agree: If I can't handle the paper, I'll tell the client that ASAP. Some of the scam companies would already be a lot more ethical if they just frankly told their clients, "Sorry, our writers can't handle this MBA assignment", and not let Ph. D assignments languish on their boards for days.

No offense, but I am new to the forum and I am wary of people with only 9 posts using up one of their 9 posts to say that one of the writers are wonderful..sounds shady to me.

LOL!!! Out of all the seemingly harmless posts that you've made, this was the only post that you really intended to make, wasn't it?

This is what other writers think about Amon:

Oh, and thanks for your message asking if I can help you out on a freelance writing project. Sadly but respectfully, I decline. :p

Honestly I was just trying to get to 5 posts so I could send you a message. I am indeed trying Amon though because it's not so expensive so figured I would try anyhow. It could end up being a bad decision, I admit.

Thanks for replying though and declining. :(

I'd say that at this point, you have two options. You either wait a while and then post that your experience with Amon was positive or you stop posting with this new username altogether and just hope that some idiot of a client would contact you to ask about your experience. Neither is likely to work. Have a nice day. ^_^

I have never used FLW, But i can tell you he is the real deal. I asked him to do a fairly complicated essay on uk law, but he would not take it because he was more familiar with US law. Any scam writer would have taken it, which proves FLW is legit, people use him.

sounds shady to me.

The forum owners encourage both positive and negative posts. The idea is to help the students gain a better idea of certain writing services and the skills of the independent writers based on the experiences the students have with them professionally. There is nothing wrong with a user posting consecutive positive comments if that is the truth of that user's experience. I am sure he would post something negative once he comes across such an experience. The forum though, would benefit from more positive feedback on services and writers if it is truly to help the students looking for reliable writing services.

Thank you. In the 10 years since this thread was last active, I've become a lot more comfortable with UK law. Back then, I was being very careful before committing to those projects.

Amon has not provided an update to his blogspot account since 2014. It was meant to formalize Amon's entry into the academic writing business as a freelancer. However, the caveats on his blog would be enough to turn off any potential clients. For one thing, he reserved the right "in perpetuity" to the original work that was completed. I do not take confidence in an assurance that the work will not be republished "unless the full payment for the paper is not met". There are always other ways he can make money off the same paper. He could even wait a decade then resell the paper with slight revisions to an unsuspecting client. Trust me, no writer should be hired on the basis of information on a free blogspot account. If he cannot afford to pay for a proper website, then he should not be in the writing business as a freelancer at all.
