ESSAY CHECKING SERVICES

Hello,

I am interested in the various essay checking websites that are going about for my Master's year.

I believe these range from legit ones such as Glasgow University, who spell-check, grammar-check and possibly assist in recommending what you could improve on and include, to other ones where you send them a completed version of your essay.

They then will read over it, in accordance to question and make changes to 'improve' essay.

I inquired with one such site 'PaperFalcons' who were not easy in getting a price out of but for a 2000 word paper and 2 weeks they were charging approx £100, which seems quite expensive considering I will have done most of the work. Plus their customer service was not what I'd expect from a professional thesis service.

My only other concern was that they resell your essay, so your original essay, then becomes internet folder which could in theory be recycled, thus showing up on plagiarism sites.

Has anyone used these sort of services?

Recommendations?

Are PaperFalcon or CustomDissertations legit?

In my opinion, that price would only be appropriate if the work needed such extensive editing and revision that it's as much work as writing it all from scratch. That is often the case, but if all it needs are minor revisions and corrections, that's very expensive and about what you should expect to pay for the whole thing written by them instead of you. I'd also be very hesitant to send a full draft to any entity you haven't already vetted thoroughly, because once they have it, you're pretty much trusting them not to just sell your work to someone else or extort you for money. As is the case anytime you're considering any new writer or essay company, you should try to test them out first, such as by paying them to edit only 1 page before you trust them enough to send them your whole project draft.

It would be in your best interest to steer clear of such websites. Always assume that, regardless of the price, your paper is definitely going to become part of the online database of the said website for future "paid reference" or "resale" to future students. They will not do that immediately though. They may decide to wait about 6 semesters before doing that. There have however, been cases where the company only waits 2 semesters before reselling a paper.
