Hi
I purchased off allassignmentmaster.com twice the first time everything went well I got my assignment however the second time it didn't.

I asked for a refund since they didn't hold up their side of the deal and then they said I need to pay £499 for a copyright certificate to stop their company going to the university and sharing the conversations and bank details they told me it would be refunded , I then proceeded to pay the £499 then they asked for another £701 since something occurred which I then payed since they were assuring me I would get it all back. Next they told me their software team shifts are over and they'll contact me the next morning.

I feel so stupid and I'm unsure what to do pls some help I think I have been scammed £1200.

Stop sending them money. That is the best way to deal with the scam. These scammers will keep sending you demands for more and more money while you continue to continue to cave in to the blackmail. They will not be able to do anything to you if you decide to stop sending them money. Do not give in to their intimidation. They are relying on your fear of being found out by your university to keep their thievery going. Block their messages. Nothing they say is true.

They cannot harm you academically. There has never been a case where the blackmailer successfully reported a student because they never do. However, students have gone bankrupt and taken out loans while trying to get the blackmailer to stop. They never will because you keep sending them money. Just stop. They cannot do anything if you do not give them what they want anymore. Do not be afraid to stand up for yourself.

After a few month they will come to you as a Department of Education with some fake letters and to contact with them. Otherwise they are going to your school for verification with many stories. Just blocked and stop responding to their message..

This provides a perfect example of two things:

1. It's very important to simply use your own critical thinking skills and just ask yourself whether the "justification" for any kind of money demand even makes the slightest bit of logical sense. If you asked for a refund and they refused, why would you even consider sending them more money for the "copyrights" to work that was so bad that you requested a refund for it in the first place? If your original payment was less than £499, why would you send them even more money than whatever you originally paid for the project that you didn't want and couldn't use? The idea of paying additional money to receive a refund of the original payment with a promise that both payments will be refunded is absolutely ridiculous. If your original payment was more than £499 and they really had any intention of "refunding" anything, why wouldn't they simply withhold that portion of it temporarily to cover the "copyright certificate"? They didn't even pretend that they weren't blackmailing you, because they demanded money not to report you to your university. After that, it doesn't matter what excuse they use as the "justification." Blackmailers don't issue "refunds."

2. If you are actually being blackmailed or threatened, the last thing you should ever consider doing is paying the ransom, because nobody who is blackmailing you in the first place can ever be trusted to stop doing it after you pay the ransom.

Hello! How can you pay so much money? These companies are scammers and they cannot do anything except make fake emails.

@Babi I find it hard to believe that they reported you to your university. These scammers are just good at scaring the students but they never follow through. It would be a totally different case if your university professor was the one that started an academic integrity investigation on you, as a student, based upon something that did not sound right in the paper that you submitted. Universities do not normally follow through on anonymous tips and they know that the writing companies try to blackmail students. So they do not give weight to such emails or reports. What you are saying is that there was a university gullible enough to believe them? Unbelievable. What sort of university do you attend?
