Are these guys legit? Do they provide quality work, or are they scammers?

Anyone had any bad experiences with them?

This is what you get when their essays fail and you are left with your tits hanging out -

"As written in our Terms and Conditions, we keep copyright protection on all written pieces by our researchers. To submit the piece as your own, or largerly as your own, constitutes plagiarism, and is a breach of the Terms and Conditions."

So their essay is crap and then they tell you that you weren't allowed to use it anyway!!! That's nice to know.

They wrote you a paper that you turned in as your own and it actually got an "F"?

I have just had a law essay from Uk essays and it is not the guarenteed level they stated now they have investigated and found themselves at fault and have offered me a 15% discount on my next order which i thought was ridiculous because i had got a bare pass and this has had a significant impact on degree. I have awaiting a response further to my declinature of their 15% offer. I have also taken legal advice who have advised me that i should be entitled to at least get my money back because the work they provided wasnt sufficient enough for its purpose. Do you think i will get my money back?

Well, I must say that I went against all the warnings on this forum and did decide to give Ukessays.com a try. Well, guess what? My paper is two days late, my professor refused to grant an extension to the original deadline and now I am in a serious limbo. Do these essay writing services actually care or are they just out to rip people off?

I really thought this company was different from all the others but I was mistaken, now I am paying for this mistake. This is madness

Even if you had received the paper, which you didn't, Ukessays.com is well-known as probably the most overpriced site in the industry. Either way, you're screwed.

It seems to me that none of these companies can be trusted.

That's simply not the case. There are several old, trustworthy, American companies.

Just out of curiosity, what was the topic/length and how much did they charge you for it?

The length of the paper is 1500 words. I was charged 180 pounds sterling. The funny thing is that after one day late I received the paper and it was incomplete. Luckily for me I was given an extension - with consequences of course ( 10% for every day the paper is late) and am now waiting for a response from UKessays with regard to completing the paper.

I have learnt my lesson. I will be writing all my papers from now on. Well I guess the self-righteous pundits will be saying that I should have done that in the first place. But hey, who are they to judge? People do need help and if there it is for sale then heck yes I will pay for it and be sensible enough to use it as a guide to writing my own paper.

I wouldn't blame legitimate companies for the poor, overpriced service of Ukessays.com. What people should learn from Falcon's experience is that Ukessays.com is, indeed, grossly overpriced for what you receive (if you receive it at all).

Ukessays.com uses a classic marketing tactic that does (unfortunately) fool many consumers: make your prices far higher than all competitors in order to create the ILLUSION that your product "must" be superior.

Well, guys I am not one to bash a company or anyone for what they do. I believe in giving everyone a chance, so I tried UKessays since they seems to be the most legit company around.........posting their physical address, bank account number etc. But I am saying here an now - UKessays is no better than any of the terrible companies which are discussed in this forum.

Guess what?, today I received the section of my paper I asked to be completed and it is still incomplete. I find it very hard to believe that this company is so blatant.

The funny things is that I received a mail from their so called quality department which says that all checks were made and the paper was complete.Well it's clear there was a table to be filled in it is incomplete ..... the blank spaces are there. (Ouch this company is terrible!)

I called customer services and basically, what I got from the person I spoke to is .........listen we give you a 50% discount on your next order so shut up and move on. That's the attitude. Well I tell you what, UKessays can take that 50% and shove it up their..........

I have not been able to meet the second deadline. The are a bunch of thieves. I wish that who ever receive my hard earn cash will break their neck or something terrible like that.

My work was 2 weeks late and completely off topic and when I asked for it to be rewritten they wanted to charge me as the time for alterations had run out-(Only because they were late delivering)

How should you choose a writing company? Well, you can start by looking at the DND list located in this forum. All the companies on the DND list should be avoided without question. They are rigorous in their vetting procedure and will only take on writers who have a British degree of 2.1 (minimum). This means that your essay will be written by someone who has a depth of knowledge in the topic pertinent to your essay. It will not be sub-contracted out in an amateur fashion. After all if someone admits to sub-contracting out one topic they are probably sub-contracting out other areas.

So far as the company is concerned the writer will be qualified to take on the assignment. Someone with a degree in Geography would not be allowed to bid for an assignment in Economics.
