Elephantessays Scam

I used elephantessays and received 4 good essays. On my last one I recieved an email stating the writer was having difficulty finding information on the topic. So I sent in the additional information and was promised the essay by the next evening. He never came through. So I asked to have different essay written for the next week and was told no problem and he never came through. I sent an email to resolve the problem and get a refund and no response. When I call the toll free number he answers with "yeah" and pretends I have the wrong number.

Jersey, spamming is unacceptable. It is especially unacceptable when a spammer thinks it rational to post in a thread that is exactly 2 years old.

Spamming will earn you zero help and respect here.

The point of my posting responses to old questions was so that they wouldn't come up in the "latest threads" section. This obviously didn't happen. I'm simply trying to get my posts up to 15 so I can contact someone. At least I was saying relevant **** and not being a pr()k about it. There's just not much for me to say--I don't keep up with this site like you have for the past 3 years.

That is not allowed. That is spamming. Do you think that the people who actually care about this forum want to be inundated with 15+ random posts in old threads just because you want to contact someone about a commercial transaction (which-in and of itself-is against the TOU of the forum)? Basically, if you don't want to (or can't) post publicly what's o your mind, it's probably against the rules, anyway.

WB,

I think you might be the kind of police officer that would ticket a speeder for going 0.05 mph above the speed limit. Who cares if jr was posting just to get her critical post number to 15 or if WB is posting to set the Essayscam record of all time (which I believe is currently 5018).

Don't take that as an ad hom because it was meant to be funny more than anything else.

It does not benefit the purpose of this forum to have self-serving, careless people come here to post useless drivel 15 times each just to earn the ability to privately contact members-in a PUBLIC forum-for commercial purposes (against forum rules, in and of itself). Why is it so difficult to understand that if such activity were allowed, this entire forum would be a SPAM-ridden, useless piece of garbage?

That is fair enough but... isn't this forum mostly riddled with all sorts of spam and useless information anyway? It is rather interesting that I originally discovered this site while looking for some type of writing information for two reasons: I wanted to find a decent writer to write a paper that I had no interest in doing and I wanted to see if there were any places to find writing jobs on subjects that I was interested in. This forum has not really been useful for either one of these goals so I have doubts that this forum is useful for anybody else (but it has been entertaining). This is why I would not be concerned about jr posting a few comments of no import on this forum so she can use the private message system to benefit her in some way.

Exactly, and those who just post drivel here and abuse, insult others - and, most importantly, libel and lie about others WHICH IS AGAINST THE RULES - utterly spoil any useful purpose this forum may otherwise have had (though this site is not regulated or legitimate and the mods do not even follow their own rules).

isn't this forum mostly riddled with all sorts of spam and useless information anyway?

Exactly.

No it's usually pretty good except for the histerical ramblings of MODUFF who on one site will say stay clear of essay writing sites & then accuses those (who try to warn of busy & tired students) of being liars. I get em, the sneaking suspision that he/she could be a writer for one of these companies. Click on his/her name, then look at the sites he/she visits & see for yourself just how many sites he/she goes on to & look at the angry & aggressive remarks he/she makes. What you will see there speaks for itself. It truely shows the mental state of the person.........

I have the samepurposefor reviving old threads. Although, we have 2 different wasons.yours is to meet a posting requirement and mine, is to make sure that all the threads can remain active reference points for the students, regardless of the thread topic. Believe me, the students appreciate this practice and find it useful when assessing services.

Nobody likes it when someone spams the board. However those are the rules that we all have to abide by. The users cannot contact others privately without meeting the menemem requirements. The problem is the rule, not the spamming. Spamming is a direct result of the forum regulations.

Perhaps the mods and admin failed to consider that outcome when drafting the user rules. The users who respond to old threads assume they are following the usage guidelines. Sure, others find it silly and illogical to revive old threads. Did they ever stop to think though that maybe, just maybe, the people that run this forum have a reason for encouraging it that cannot be shared with us? Perhaps the mods can be encouraged to share that purpose publicly?
