So, you've been a procrastinating idiot, got desperate and realised the solution doesn't lie in the alcohol. On receipt of a phone call, you stupidly pay up thinking "that's great, it's off my mind". You THEN think to Google essayrelief and find this little gem of a site.

Post sobbing, you scour the site and realise that you can get your cash back, should you have used a credit card. But you went and used paypal... you schmuck.

Essay ReliefYou try to cancel.... but lo and behold all transactions are final. You think of the gas bill and pray it's going to be a warm spring.

You receive your essay and think "well I got SOMETHING" to find it truly is as useful and attractive as a used tampon, unfortunately this tampon is dripping on your carpet, leaving a frightful mess.

My course of action:

Inform paypal, write, use chat on their site (get ignored), send query forms stating how the due date has passed (lie, cheat, etc - they did). Threaten to escalate the dispute with Paypal unless a resolution is reached within 24 hours. Escalate it anyway, using the chat conversation where you were ignored by "George" as justification. Inform them that the dispute has been escalated.

I received an e-mail from essay relief saying that they would refund 70% of my cash as a "special favour". It's almost like a woman giving you a special favour - you still have to pay for it, so it's neither special nor a favour - you'll learn both not to use woman and what a clap clinic looks like. Either way, I accepted this as I want to cut my losses and learn from my idiocy. This is karma for cheating and a lesson not to panic with a credit card within arms reach. No one thinks they can be this stupid... it's amazing what a little self-realisation can do to you.

You may get some joy from refusing this offer and using a dispute with paypal as leverage, however I will take the hit and be relieved that I got some of my money back.

I am awaiting the refund and will cancel my dispute with Paypal as soon as this is received as a dispute is only valid until an agreement is reached. I will post when the cash is in my account.

If you try and cheat, you deserve everything you get. Even though I was planning on using the essay as a guide to do my own, it was still dishonest and stupid. If you're looking at this, trying to find a site that actually gives you what you want, how about putting this kind of research and effort into your assignment? Use your common sense, ask for an extension and get your head down.

Result:

Paypal sent me an e-mail saying I had received a full/partial refund...

I'm surprised (and delighted) to say that this was for the full amount! The gas company can stop with the red letters now. It would seem that in today's society, the stupid are not punished how they should be. Natural selection has become largely redundant and this idiot, for one, is relieved.

If you're reading this post parting with your money, just follow the same course of action as I did and hopefully get your cash back.

I will be sending an e-mail to Paypal querying why they allow their payment system to be used by, and their name associated with, such blatant scammers.

I was also scammed by essayrelief, they sent me three "copy-pasted" articles gathered and on a topic different from what i ordered. Calling their customer service is a waste of time they will either shut you down or send you a "sorry" email and nothing about it.

I was wondering why not all people scammed by essayrelief start sending emails to all organizations from which essayrelief plagerised and make them aware of this maybe they can stop them better than us. And as a second step we should all send emails to credit cards companies and paypal we use asking them why do they work with such a well known by all cheating company??

My question is what can we do to shut down their website ? Is there any legal actions or any place we can complain to about them ??

Probably a good idea to ask paypal why they allow their payment system and brand to be used by / associated with such lovely people.

@pretarded Since Paypal is first and foremost a business, they can't turn down the business. Having been burned for decades by there companies, and having lost a sizeable chunk of income when they banned the writing companies, they decided to work around them instead. Nobody gets the money these days until Paypal is satisfied both sides won't complain. Till they are satisfied, the money is floated and placed on hold for automatic full refunding instead.

Didn't you say that you were going to use the essay as a model paper? That doesn't qualify as cheating since your weren't going to submit it for a grade. By the way, not everyone who orders a paper is automatically a cheat. Not all of them encounter the same problems as you did wither. So please don't lump all academic writing company users into one basket. You don't have any idea why they ordered a paper. It isn't always about cheating. Not everything is as cut and dried as you perceive things to be in this business.

When I was a freshman at university, I didn't have enough time to do my homework. And then I decided to use the service of writing an essay. I found a great paper writing service. She wrote me a unique essay that was easily checked for plagiarism. I also know that after sending the work to me, it was deleted.

When I was a freshman at university, I didn't have enough time to do my homework. And then I decided to use the service of writing an essay. I found a great paper writing service.

Typically, students come to this forum to find a reliable source of essays; they don't usually sign up here a year or more after they've found a writer, just to announce that here in their first post. That's like signing up on a forum called "FindGoodUsedCars.Org" a year after you've already bought a great used car.

I also know that after sending the work to me, it was deleted.

Actually, you can't know this; and experienced writers don't delete projects for at least a few months. When satisfied clients come back for more work, it's often very helpful to have their previous projects, especially when the subject matter is related. Every once in a while, clients contact me long after they've received their projects asking me whether I happen to have saved their previous projects, because they accidentally deleted them. My clients own the copyright to anything they've paid me to write; but I usually still save a copy, just in case it's needed or happens to be useful in connection with their future projects.

I agree that there are many scammers on the internet. Once, I used a paper writing service and I was fine with the payment. I was given a quality job that I was satisfied with. There is also a refund option if you did not like your essay.

I agree that there are many scammers on the internet.

That's true; and one of the most obvious patterns of scammers on this particular forum is when a brand new "student" ID shows up and then immediately posts about how "satisfied" the person was with some essay company or writer. As I explained earlier, real students come here looking to find a reliable essay source, not to announce to the world that they already found one. Real students don't post about the terms and conditions of the companies they used, either. So, anytime you see anything like that, you can be sure that it's just someone tossing out bait hoping someone will ask about that company or writer, so that the "student" can try to post his own company url. In fact, there are two perfect examples right in this thread.

There is also a refund option if you did not like your essay.

Only scammers ever advertise those types of refund promises. No legitimate essay company or writer offers refunds based on customers "not liking" their essay. In fact, this kind of refund promise on any website in this industry is a very obvious bright flag that the website is a total scam.
