Hello,
I ordered with essaywriter.co.uk on the 25th of July. An order worth in excess of £1200. I specifically stated I needed work done in the field of econometrics using the software STATA. I was assured they found a writer and they would be able to complete it by the 5th of August. ON the 5th I was sent a piece of work which had nothing to do with Econometrics. The writer had written a piece of work with no understanding of econometrics or STATA and handed it to me. I told them that the piece of work is completely unacceptable and the writer was not qualified to write the paper based on what was written. They agreed after making a lot of excuses about the writer being able to amend it to give it to a different writer. I specifically told them that my final deadline was the 16th and I need the work done definitely by then and was assured that it would be finished on it. Bear in mind this is 11 days after my first deadline.
The second piece of work also did not have any data analysis with the STATA software (no log files as requested) and to top it all of it was copied from the word for word, formula by formula from an article online. The writer and essaywriter tried to say that because I had said that the work could be a replication of an econometric paper that is why it's similar because it was what I asked.
This is completely ridiculous. A replication in econometrics with STATA does not mean you copy the article. Any econometrician will know that it means to try and replicate the commands used in STATA by the author of the article (which are not shown on the paper) and try and imitate its approach. They are trying to say that they have 7 days to amend the order when they knew that it was already 11 days after my first deadline and was assured that it would be finished on 16th.
Long story short I have spent a lot of money on the order. I have received a completely unacceptable piece of work first and then a plagiarised piece of work which was tried to be passed as a replication of of an econometric article when the writer did not provide neither the data nor the log file of the commands he used..
I'm looking at the moment at my options. They are making excuses as to why they cannot refund me my money. If they insist with this line I will have to contact the bank as well as possibly looking at the small claims court. Their registered address on the company house which I was given before ordering is:
Name & Registered Office:
INFOPROXY LIMITED
OFFICE 78
57 GREAT GEORGE STREET
LEEDS
WEST YORKSHIRE
LS1 3AJ
Company No. 05610735
Which apparently it has just been dissolved which is even more worrying.
Please beware and do not make the mistake I have. I will keep you update of the situation.
Hello again,
I have a bit of an update on the situation. I have just got a call back from David who is the general manager of essaywriter. He has assured me that the order will be looked into and see what might have gone wrong with regards to it and he sounded as troubled as myself about the shortcomings of the order. I was told that it will be dealt with by either assigning it to an actually qualified writer who is knowledgeable in econometrics provided I am able to extend my deadline or look into providing a refund if they cannot do so within a specific time frame.
It was very reassuring to at least get some feedback from the person in charge of the company because this morning I was freaking out. I will keep you updated on the situation once I have more news.
