Just ignore them and don't respond to any further communications from them. Don't even open their emails; just delete them or, better yet, add them to your list of blocked email senders.

The company was trying to set you up for blackmail. This is the modus operandi of most third world writing companies. This is a relatively new company that has been gaining a reputation as a criminal writing company for precisely this reason. You are not the first student to have experienced their scam, but you are probably the first we have been able to help not get fleeced by them. Thanks for sounding the alarm here at the forum. Future students inquiring about the company will appreciate your coming forward with this information. Ignore them as best you can. I hope you did not use your university email to contact them. That could be a whole new set of problems for you in the future.

and they submitted one discussion board.

This was a huge mistake, too. Never give any essay company direct access to your school system like that.

Discussion board postings are not done directly on the class board by the with. The student would have to place an order with the company with the discussion question provided. The assigned writer would then develop the appropriate response within word count requirements as a Word file. This would then be uploaded to the company server for the student to download. It is then the student's responsibility to post the paid response. This is the known and normal process for discussion board interactions. The OP did not indicate that it was a direct posting, just that a discussion board response was submitted. A statement that could be interpreted in various ways.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

A bad experience. Just try to land a good writer on this platform, a trustworthy one, one who will charge you accordingly, and you only pay after service. That way, you will be safe. A ten min chat will help you determine whether someone is legit or not. Also, once you have developed a desirable work relation, I knw you will not have a problem paying upfront. First, create that rapport. Currently, I'm trying to reach direct clients as much as I can. Anyone willing to be part of my circle can reach me via apluswriter07 at gmail dot com
