Don't be fooled by the American sounding names they hide behind.

The issue is not that it is a Ukrainian company but, rather, why are these people concealing their true identity?

I have just stupidly paid £90 for ma-dissertations.com to edit my lit review for me as i am not happy with it.

I have now come across this website, too late it seems. Their phone number is a fake I presume as no-one answers and I have four hours left til i asked for it to be back and no-one is assigned to my lit review. No one is available on live chat and no reply to any e-mails. What is strange through is I always got connected to the live chat service before placing my order, i last spoke to a woman called Pamela on there about 2 hours after placing my order and she said their are two potential writers and they are choosing one now. Is it possible they know its me every time? I have tried different login in names to hide my identity but maybe they can track ip addresses?

Have i been scammed? I really hope not, i had to extend my overdraft to pay for this editing service!

Am I able to get my money back?

I don't see how. I think the live chat prog tracks country ip but not exact user ip. It is probably a case of typical inefficiency

Don't ever ever trust Masterpapers/Academia research. When I started writing, that was the first company that cheated me and the next one was Project1stclass, also foreign. These are horrible, unethical people who prey on both writers and students. Please don't ever go to them. Academia recently cheated my friend by not paying for nearly 20000 words. I had posted those papers on this forum somewhere. Students watch out for fraudulent reviews posted by these services.

I agree serene Masterpaper's is highly unethically. From a customers perspective, one Accounting paper I had received was so terrible I could not bare to hand in the paper or faced the consequences of failing the course!

i had once ordered from masterspaper.. it was horrible but i think i am glad that i withdrew from them when i sensed something wrong!

they wanted me to send them my id ie passport or driver license copied/scanned to "verify" the cardholder! i was like, why do u need to verify the cardholder? i havent been asked for verification of id when purcahsed stuff online with my c/c. so, i wrote to the customer service n live chat and wanted them to cancel my order straight away!

they did, however, i got a call from sydney (02 area code) from a bad english female speaker saying that the id check can be waived, they only needed me to confirm my residential address. So i told her straight away, that no thanks, i do not want to deal with your company anymore!

Till now, i am still waiting on my refund!

please AVOID customessays.co.uk...and both writer's...their ID'S are 38496 and 8988.. they wrote total gibberish for the 2 works i ordered, i asked for revisions, cos the quality of work was poor(according to my tutor) needed more amendments and so on.. before i asked for the revisions, i asked both writers if i needed a revision would they be able to do it? they said yes! but now both writers are refusing to do the revision and asking for additional pages and payments???for the poor quality work they did? when it clearly states that on their website, unlimited revisions!and now the company won't refund me back my money for both works and it clearly states that 100% money back guarantee for a dissatisfaction?!y open or start a business, when he/she cant stick to the rules and policy of the company??

there was no conclusion, the texts that was written down, didn't have citations, completely plagiarized!!i asked for 30 references and i was given 13..for a 2:1 work...this i tried to state out for the company but then they bluntly ignored me as if am a trouble maker or a mad person!and they keep saying, we understand your frustration, but kindly wait for our OAD dept to solve the issue??for a month now??they did not hesitate to take my money but to refund it, sure takes a lot of time!different name comes up anytime i send them msgs! If you had done the tiniest bit of searching on this forum, you would have quickly learned that customessays.co.uk is a UKrainian-operated fraud site. This forum does help people who take the time to use it properly.

Stop being pessimistic. The forum really helps as far as scamming in the essay industry is concerned.

Thats the one they gave me after asking for a rewrite 3 times, I asked them to write a report on the company where i work work in cheshire, we manufacture aircraft components, what they originally supplied was a report on coca-cola, i asked for a rewrite and they used MS Word find/replace command to change the company name, and thats all they did as a rewrite so where the pomp[any warehouse, museum and bottling plant came from AND the atlanta water company is involved i dont know.

Academia-Research seems to still be able to deliver enough satisfactory papers coming from their writers because the company still manages to stay in business. Though their server is no longer as filled with orders as in the past, they still have enough students coming in with papers to keep their business afloat. Perhaps that is the benefit of having several url's under one company umbrella. They manage to get enough work to spread across their writers pool. Although, they still have a problem with revision requests. From what I have heard, the student no longer settle for revisions, they ask for task reassignments instead, without having to pay for the new paper. It is instead, taken out of the pay of the previous writer as a penalty of up to 100% on their salary.

They conceal it for business purposes. They believe that the students will only trust English natives from the US and UK. That belief is embedded in the colonial mentality of the Ukranians I guess. Americans and British tend to be more trusted than people from the former Soviet Union and Russia. Changing their names to the more commonly accepted English counterparts reinforces their belief of this ideology. They can change their names all they want. It still won't eliminate their thick European accent when engaged in a conversation during the order inquiry process.

This is true; but when it comes to academic writing, in particular, it's more that US and UK customers don't want their writers to be ESL, simply because their writing is always recognizably ESL, especially to NES teachers and professors.
