Oxbridge Writers - Help / Advice Needed

Hi,

I'm currently having problems with Oxbridge writers and after 20+ e-mail correspondence with them, I'm getting nowhere.

I paid for an upper first class piece, 2500 words for a deadline over 10 days ago. I received the piece 2 days late, and when it arrived it was of poor grammar, areas didn't make sense, weren't correctly referenced and worst of all, it was of no more than a 2:1 standard. I requested ammendments, but as of yet, 10 days on, I'm still playing e-mail tennis with their quality control teams, have no work, and am almost £950 worse off!

I only chose to use this company as it appeared to have very little negative feedback from customers (or so I thought anyway) on this forum and Jennifer AA always seemed happy to help resolve issues. Maybe she could try to help resolve this situation?

Any advice would be greatfully received as I'm new to all this!

If you read thoroughly through threads available in the above link, you'll notice that they belong to the same company as UK Essays. By reviewing the threads on UKEssays you'll notice a lot of very poor quality delivered paper complaints. Since they are both the same group, probably they hire the same writers, therefore you could have assumed that ordering through Oxb Writers could have delivered you with poorest possible paper paid at an arm and a leg.

I really feel sorry for you. 950 is too much for a 2500 word essay.

As a struggling writer a few years ago, I had applied here only to be rejected as a non-oxfordian despite having done doctorate from a highly aclaimed university. Funny that they don't adhere to the standards they have set for themselves.

Thanks for that link, I had read it prior to ordering from them, but from what JenniferAA says, it appears that she is saying they are not all the same company. However, searching UKessays threads it appears that they are.

It is really shocking, I don't see why if its not upto standard they just refuse to pay the writer? Then at least the only person loosing out is the writer, who would only have themselves to blame!

Is there anything I can do, am I likely to get anything back to compensate the delays they have caused?

As you'll see from the thread above, we have a researcher here who has some personal problems, and has taken it upon herself to get drunk and post the entire transcript of a conversation between her and our company on this forum. It doesn't even relate to choosing or using custom essay companies, or avoiding essay scams (the point of this forum) and if you're bored enough to read the thread, you'll see she's actually drunk by her own admission.

Sometimes a student needs to realize that it is better to cut your losses and make a halfway deal with the company. While not the ideal solution to any scenario, it is usually the most feasible one. The company refuses to take a total loss, which is what they claim even as the writer is fined 100% of the order price + other penalties. The student wants a full refund. Each side will defend and protect his claim until no winner can be declared and only the client loses. If they are willing to return any amount, take it. At least you will have lost only a little rather than the full amount.

Oxbridge is one of those essay writing companies that beleives in its own publicity. Their claim to have the top UK writers working for their company. So that should have translated into the best academic writing products for their clients. That is not what happened in this case. They were caught in their lie because the quality of the papers their writers produced are not even of a high school level. Heck, an elementary school student would be ashamed to use this company for even the most basic "What I Did During the Summer" essay, which si a staple of lower grade level essay writing. They should be ashamed to be making such unfounded claims. Their clients are always severely unstatisfied and very rarely recieve refunds for jobs that were written by a drunk.
