Paid dollars for a research paper by bestessays.com...

I paid this company almost 200 dollars for a research paper, and had to extend the deadline twice. Finally I got it, information that was completely irrelevant to the topic. They have offered a 40% refund, can you believe it? Now they are not replying to any of my mails or messages. Can anyone please advise me on how I can get my money back, PLEASE!!!

Maybe you didn't provide accurate information when you placed an order with them? Or added new information after you paid? If they did some custom work it means they spent their time working on your project so it should be obvious they need to get paid at least to cover their costs. That's how most companies operate.

By the way, when they offer a partial refund, that's only to get APOLOGISTS like you on their side.

I gave them very specific details on the research that needed to be done and I did not add new information at any point. BTW, when a company advertises 100 percent customer satisfaction or your money back on their website, then they should adhere to their promises and thats how proper companies are run, love!

I tried dontpayforessay.com. you don't buy an essay its software that worked pretty much like it said it would i had a 10 page paper I finished everything in a little under 30 minutes and I hate writing I've used 6 times so far and I got 5 A's and a B'

If you really are a customer, then I feel for you. :p Sadly, there is a real chance that some nincompoop will end up working on your paper (as there probably is in any company available that's within your reasonable budget). If I was able to get a hold of your project, you wouldn't have been dissapointed. :)

i seen it was weak too, but i was desperate and it was either taking the risk or or getting burnt by advance essays or bestessays for 15 bucks a page so I paid forty and lucked out

I was so worried reading the bad reviews of bestessays.com while I was waiting on my essay to be completed. I ordered a 6 page premium quality essay on a 12 hour rush. I was able to upload all my class reviews and articles, so the writer wouldn't have to hunt down the books. I was so nervous, because 7 hours went by and no one had been assigned to my order, then I received a request to extend my deadline, but luckily a writer had just picked it up and a few hours later (1 hour before the deadline) I got 7 (not 6) fantastic pages of essay answers to the questions I sent. On top of that, one of the articles I sent was written by my professor, and the writer did a very good critique, so I know that it wasn't plagiarized, but they are still going to send a plagiarism report. I'm glad my experience was not like yours, and will try to get the same writer I had in the future. My only complaint was the expense, but I did order on a 12 hour rush. I also ordered the VIP customer service and a premium quality writer but I'm not sure how different it is from the regular support and writing level. My article certainly looked like it was written by a graduate in my degree field, because not only did they answer the essay questions, but they critiqued the theories of all the writer's articles and reviews I had uploaded.

Initially, I was here to air my views about how some posters discriminate against ESL writers from the third world. Later on, I posted at my leisure mostly to pester WB (oh, happy times). On the side, some posters who saw my talents invited me for projects. I accepted some, rejected others. This forum isn't really a good place to pick up customers but yeah, I do manage to pick up a few. Evidently, none of them ever complained. I'm a writer and of course just by being here, I am already promoting my services as a writer. Every time I manage to sound smart and make a fool of other people, I increase the chances of some passerby student noticing what I can do for him. While that brings in some extra dough, it's not really the reason why I'm here.

I'm here for the amusement. ^_^ So..... what now? ^_^

Jennifer this site also caters to writers and uncovers writing sites that scam writers. It is just that to avoid a mess here commercial activities are discouraged.

I have no idea if they (bestessays.com[DND*] ... etc surrogates...) provide the services they promise, nonetheless, I decided to read one of their sample essay term_paper (posted on their site) and jumped to page 3. Within the next 2 pages I have found the following sentences:

"The marketing strategy of companies needs to be strategic and innovative to increase circulation and boost profits"

"As a result, the number of readers willing to pay for news content is reducing and this has a direct impact on the sales of newspapers"

"Advertising revenues has dipped"

"During the period from April to September 2009, the circulation of daily newspapers in the United States reduced by 10.6% to 30.4 million copies compared to the same period in 2008"

If my daughter would have come to me as homework with anything approaching this in her 8th grade, my face would have turned blue with fury.

Hence we are dealing with so called professional writers, I can only shrug and feel sorry for whoever loses money.

It's a public forum about a specific area of the writing industry, on which you are posting as a writer despite problems constructing clear thoughts in written English. Anyone is welcome to judge you, because you put yourself out there.

It's strange that you considered replying to a post that did not make much sense to you. You are useless.
Btw, I am not ashamed of admitting that I am an ESL writer. I can make mistakes regarding word use, but that does not mean that I am not capable of writing papers. I know I am qualified for that as my clients prefer me for writing their papers. The reason is I can produce quality product with extensive research on a given topic. If that is the case, people can make slight changes in the received paper if there is something wrong with English language. Nobody is perfect, pheelyks. Native writers may slip, too. Regarding my posts here on the forum, I just write message and post it. I don't want anybody to get impressed with my writing, that is why I don't feel the need to proofread what I write here. If you have any problem with my writing or you feel I have problems constructing clear thoughts in written English, you better ignore my posts as they are beyond your understanding. By posting on this forum, you try to showcase your skills what you actually don't have. Remember, never try to look smart because you are always pathetic.

How soon after receiving the paper did you file your refund? Always check the refund policy of the company because if you take too long to file your complaint, you will not get their cooperation on a full refund. In such cases, you will have to file a complaint or stop payment with your bank, card, or payment service. Since they are offering only 40% refund, I guess it took you a few days to get in touch with them. So filing a refund through the payment provided would be your only option in this case.

Was the 40 % refund completed at all? That should be the main question beeing asked in this thread. More importanty, was the refund offered fair to the client based on the damages be may have incurred due to writer incompetence? These are the considerations that should have been posed in this thread eather than the hijacking topics found in between the related discussions.
