Ivy ThesisI used Ivythesis last month. 2 weeks before my thesis due date. As I kept searching online and even in essayscam, I couldnt find any bad feedbacks on them so I decided to try them. The owner, by the name of Vic Fabe, making it quite genuine by having even Facebook and kept uploading recent sample of his assignment.

1st I made payment into his bank account of approximately USD100 as its a Hong Kong account (he based in HK), I thought the transaction couldnt get through or has been remitted wrongly into others acc (in the midst of settling it with my bank). So there I decided to use Paypal as it goes straight into his account.

Then, I sent him the Paypal's transaction receipt but had not heard from him for couple of days. Thats when it only left 5 days to my assignment. Once I threaten to report to Paypal and get a refund, he responded by asking me to just go ahead with it. I knew then it was a scam. Luckily I had a few days to do it and had to rush 24/5 for it.

Damn that Vic and Ivythesis.

This is his facebook.. facebook/profile.php?id=100000754605313

This is the website.. ivythesis.com

Why did you choose to order from a company based in Hong Kong ? You have no comeback against overseas companies if anything goes wrong

Most probably because the company offered a paper for a much less compensation, and the same scam repeated.

Let me tell you something more - the company is NOT from HK; in fact, it is from the Philippines.

2 weeks before my thesis due date

Seriously...you expected a theis from a legit site in less than two weeks? Not a paper mind you, but a full-fledged thesis? The fact that they took your order with that short deadline should have been a red flag. The second is the fact that the site is constantly trying to push trojans onto your system.

This can absolutely be accomplished. Not by this company, clearly, but it can be done.

Of course, this thread is a month old at this point, so your advice (and my response) are pretty meaningless....

Ivythesis - I was scammed by this writing service company

I was scammed by Ivythesis as I didn't receive any assignment after the due day which is August. Until now, I get no reply about my assignment after 2 months for the deadline. I am regret not making any research about this company.

I had ordered one 6000 words assignment from Ivythesis 4 months ago. In the beginning, the editor - Vic Fabe seems to be nice as I make different enquiry about my assignment and he replied that they will follow my instruction to write it. I clearly said that I wanted to review the half completed assignment for my project.

Afterward, I made a full payment for my assignment to them and the situation turned worse. Vic Fabe kept saying the writer had worked on my assignment but I got no update on my assignment. When the period was closed to deadline, Vic Fabe didn't reply all my email even the chat room in their web sites. Consequently, I received nothing after the due day and Vic Fabe said it is the fault of the writer. Vic kept saying will assign a new writer worked on my assignment but I found it is a fraudulent. It is a joke when Every time he said willing to assign a new writer. You won't never get any update on your project.

You may find why I keep chasing my project after the deadline because it will be useful for my other project. I believed not only me scammed by this company and I hope no more people will be suffered from it again.

You should start a chargeback with your credit card company. And this is an important lesson to everyone a)not to work with such long deadlines, and b)ALWAYS give yourself extra time between the deadline for the writer to deliver to you and your deadline to turn the assignment in, in case something goes wrong.

If you could not find any negative reviews online, nor a reference to a scam related to the company on ES, you should have been even more careful in dealing with them. At that point, you should have asked around for specific information either from friends or, by starting your own thread here in ES. Just because there was no thread present at the time you checked, that did not mean that the company was in the clear. Instead, you should have delved deeper into the background of the company. Never consider a company clean until you have exhausted all methods of learning about its true reputation.

The site no longer seems to be in existence, but I'm not bypassing my computer's system alert prompt to find out for sure.

The domain name is no longer responding to handshakes. So the site is off the server, but the domain name remains active. I guess the domain will remain that way until the registration expires. It is no longer a threat to any student, or any computer at this point. It no longer exists as an online essay writing company.
