Where are UKwritings.com based

The clue is in the name? You'd think so until you read FAQs to learn they are based in Cyprus.

They never meant to deceive the students in that case. They were honest about their location, but provided it only on a need to know basis. Since they are based in Cyprus, this allows them to get around the UK law against writing companies and also allows them to focus on UK students as clients. It is up to the student to take a chance with them, or not. If you ask me, any company that intentionally misleads the students based on their company name should not be trusted though.

This is misleading and if they wanted to be transparent they should publicise their Cyprus location in a more prominent position and not tuck it away.

@a1writer No company does that online so why should they be any different? It is the companies that do not include an actual address or a questionable map address in their About and Contact Page that students should worry about. As long as their actual location is stated somewhere in the site, they cannot be accused of misleading the student. The student can however, be faulted for not doing a thorough research of the company based on the available information on the company site. I have to disagree with you on this.
