hi,
I ordered an essay from a person called Carlos Gonzales. I found him at craigslist website and he have posts ad in several websites.

I sent him all the sources & more than week to work in 6 pages paper. He asked me to sent him half of the payment 60$ (total 120) and the other half before he completing the paper.

Mexican Writer - he asked me to send him PayPal account as transfer money for family or friend NOT paying for good& service . Do you know why? if you chose paying family or friend, PayPal wont issue refund you while if you chose paying for good& service you could issue refund <<<<

the paper was due at 8:30 am so I reminded him a day before the due date, he said yes I'm working in it but he sent it to me at 7 am (an hour and half before the class). he sent the introduction at 6:30 and asked me to make the other half of the payment in order to send the whole paper. I did sent it to him. the paper was:

1- it was copy past in the email NOT in a word document.
2- NO in text citation.
3- it was 3 and half paper (I paid for 6 pages)
4- I put it in plagiarisma.net and it showed that 76% of the text are exactly copy and past from Wikipedia (please note I have sent him sources)

5- I texted him and no reply.
6- I was worried all the night so I didn't sleep.
7- I didn't hand in the paper and I lost 15% of my grade, yes it's harmful but at least I will not have an issue with plagiarism.

I don't think Craigslist is a good idea for searching writers..

There are actually more reliable independent firms such as Upwork and linkedIn. Craigslist has been at the bottom of the list for decades now. They never did recover from their slew of bad publicity back in the day. While still in existence, Cragislist has gone the way of eBay, ancient and not really worth the time it takes to keep its server active. I am still wondering why they continue to thrive these days. I mean, who still uses Cragslist?

Students will seek more affordable writers at older sourcing venues. It is all about being able to work with a writer within their budget. While I agree that Craigslist is not a reliable channel for such services, it does work for some students. So we cannot judge the validity of the academic writers to be found at that site. However, we should not be endorsing or not endorsing such possible hiring venues either. All the available venues carry the same risk for the student. It does not matter where the writer is hired. It is the actual character of the writer that comes into play. Is he honest or not? That is what the student has to learn to judge before hiring. That way the regrets are avoided at the end of the day.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.
