Question: Fewer and fewer people are using handwriting. What are the main reasons for this? Will this cause a negative or positive development?

Handwriting Usage

IELTS HandwritingNowadays, people tend to use less handwriting. This is caused by many reasons and will have a negative impact on us.

Without a shadow of a doubt, technology plays a major role in deducing the use of handwriting. People prefer to use not only keyboards, but also touch screens for typing more than handwriting as it's easier and faster to use. Moreover, typing will guarantee you to understand the text no matter how bad or good the handwriting is. In addition, some researchers proven that handwriting can cause hand pain, especially in long texts, that's why some people like to use typing.

The extinction of handwriting will cause a lot of problems in our society. As not everyone can afford buying electronic devices, there will be barriers in communication. Besides, if low standard people cant buy electronic devices, more pressure is added to their lives as they can't reach people's demand.

In conclusion, using typing is a lot easier and better ; nevertheless, the continuously use of it and stopping using the handwriting will cause issues in our society.

- "in deducing the use of handwriting" - sounds a little awkward. Maybe this is better: "in reducing the use of handwriting."

- "some researchers have proven"...

Regarding the contextual aspects of your essay:

- pain and handwriting -- it's not a very persuasive point (a counter point could be that handwriting promotes better arm muscles + typing on a smartphone is probably more painful if we talk about pain).

- "low standard people" -- it's confusing what you mean (even if someone cannot afford to buy an electronic device it doesn't make them "low standard)

You could devote a paragraph to 'voice to text' solutions / technology (when you say words to a microphone and they are being automatically translated into electronic text). You could also strengthen your argument that using handwriting is important by referring to research that proves that people who use handwriting may "exercise" parts of their brains that normally don't work when using electronic keyboards only.

I think you should be able to get 6 or maybe 7 for this.
