Professor orders 4 essays from essay companies (stealth mode): hilarity ensues

"When the papers arrived, on schedule, two weeks later, he felt both astonishment and relief. "What we got back from the mills can best be described as gibberish," he wrote. "A few of the papers attempted to mimic APA style, but none achieved it without glaring errors. Citations were sloppy. Reference lists contained outdated and unknown sources, including blog posts."

College TeacherThe writing was awful, Ariely said. It looked as if some of the work had been outsourced to overseas providers not comfortable with the English language.

Ariely offered this sample paragraph:

"Cheating by healers. Healing is different. There is harmless healing, when healers-cheaters and wizards offer omens, lapels, damage to withdraw the husband-wife back and stuff. We read in the newspaper and just smile. But these days fewer people believe in wizards."

Morale:

1. Avoid companies because the majority is in business to make a quick buck and to employ slave labor from Kenya, Ukraine, and Pakistan.

2. Work with individual writers (MS/PhD from UK/US Universities) or reputable services only.

Gee, I wonder if you're an "individual" writer. You'd never try to besmirch companies for personal gain, would you?

FYI, there are no references in that completely unsubstantiated article. It's quite clear what the original author's intentions were from the start. He would write a smear piece regardless of any positive results that he might receive. That he ordered papers from foreign ripoff companies is obvious.

BTW, it's "moral."

shill harder,writers2beware. Unlike you I do care about students and quality of work they receive. In case it escaped you this forum called "essayscam.org", I think you need to be reminded about it.

shill harder

You clearly do not know what that word means.

Do unsuspecting clients a favor by learning how to properly communicate in the English language before purporting to be a "professional writer" in the English language and conning them out of their money.

The references have always been a problem for most academic writers. It used to be that one could use a reference provided it was not over 5 years from the date of first publication. However, the speed by which information has been updating has changed this schedule. Now, I ask my writers to use information no later than 3 years, just to be sure that the information is still relevant. They must also do pertinent research to prove their information as accurate by verifying it with at least 2 other sources before they can use it. As for blogs. I instructed my QAD to always return the paper to the writer the minute any information comes up as having been sourced from a blog. Not only is that highly an inaccurate source of information, there is no way of proving the claims. Nobody really knows if the writer who claims to have a PhD actually has a Phd. Hence the reason by even professors do not accept blog references in any sort of paper.

"What we got back from the mills can best be described as gibberish,"

Based on what some of my new clients send me after having first tried one of my cheaper competitors, that sounds perfectly accurate.

Well, here is another post from ages ago that supports the information @a1writer has more recently been advocating for. Only by hiring specialized writers who matriculated from the relevant educational system standa chance of pulling the wool over any professors eyes. Multi-focused writers will eventually be caught and pose a serious problem for his student client. It seems this situation, of writer's writing in formats and about topics they know nothing about, so they just to glide by to get paid, has been a long time problem in the academic writing field.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.
