The problem with this site is everything is rumour and allegations - and any idiot can attempt to besmirch and malign a site if they have been sacked for being a bad writer! Also, students placing orders can be unreasonable too.

So...Where are we? Well WB, WRT and Phleeyks are up their own ARSE for sure!

My advice as ever: always buy essays from the most expensive sites; avoid Asian sites; be wary of American sites; use Limited company sites, the UK sites are best. These will have the best writers; cheap sites will have writers who may well be students or just unemployed, mediocre graduate from crap universities - like those here.

This is not at all a way to guarantee a decent product. The Oxrbidge family of sites cahrges some of the most obscene prices, and delivers total s-i* according to many customer posts here. Could you possibly have a connection with them, Melissa?

You have no legitimate business on this forum--you already trued to act as a customer and then a writer, signaling your dishonesty--and have claimed several times to be a writer despite your abysmal English skills. Im here to avoid choosing a bad essay service, however I see more internal conflict than anything else.

Pheelyks and I have both been very open about the fact that we do write for ET but we're not here to promote any company. My original purpose for joining this forum was simply to increase my own private client list and not to argue with anybody about any commercial essay companies. As freelancers, we don't really have any incentive to waste our time promoting companies that use our services; increasing the company profit margin doesn't benefit us one bit and neither does increasing traffic to them because we get enough work for ourselves already. I only respond to the lies I've seen about the company because I know for a fact that they're not true and it annoys me to read them; I've written thousands of papers for them since 2003 and I know they do a very honest business.

I feel the standards of this forum are slowly being eroded by the members who obviously have no business being here. I understand EssayScam exists primarily to expose scams in the essay writing industry and to assist students seeking direction as such. Honestly, many members who register don't fall into the category of the users for whom this forum was intended. They come in here with no aim of helping anyone or finding any help themselves. The content of their contribution consists of nothing out of pathetically put together marketing gimmicks, desperate whimpers for attention, or impulsive attempts to discredit competitors.

I'm not talking about confrontational disagreements and the occasional insults. Those act as checks to separate the lucid and witty from the clueless and mediocre. If delivered with perfect timing and direction, they also provide for humorous entertainment.

What I'm referring to is the manner in which there are hardly any measures whatsoever to ensure that every individual who comes through the forum's gates brings some form of value to the rest of the community, or at least does not take from it. There are users who devalue the image of EssayScam as the go-to forum for anyone seeking assistance or guidance in this industry. Forum members who can barely express themselves in the English language and yet claim to be professional writers only spit on the name that this forum has taken years to build. In the process they chase away the users who assume such traits are commonplace here, and simultaneously misguide the few who take those claims at face value.

Surely genuine people who come here should be reasonably assured of some standards of the fellow members they're to interact with as well as the palatable content of those members' contributions. As true as it is that bed sheets do get dirty, you expect to find clean ones when you check in at The Hilton. Even writers should expect to engage intellectually without being interrupted by irrelevant and often unintelligible drivel. Cockroaches have no place on a dinner table at The Plaza.

Nobody cares what a person with no history and contribution thinks.

Maybe if you were a student who's been victimized over and over by con artists and fake website operators you would understand.Maybe if you relied on the merits,fluency,and soberness of the 'bickering' here to determine which user's input and advice was best to go by in determining how to spend your already limited student funds you would understand. Then you would know that it isn't 'pointless'.

Are you just trying to reach the minimum post count to access some forum privileges? I'm curious to see where you're going!

I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread it. It is a redundancy in my opinion because the forum exists to actually do what the OP is asking participants to do in this thread. The whole forum is meant to expose the scam of evil academic writing companies and blow the lid off the scam that some independent writers are running through various means. There is no need to ask the participants of this forum to specifically discuss their experiences in this thread because the forum is already divided into discussion sections specifically to give the aggrieved students a voice and a place to air their disappointment, anger, and disgust at their treatment at the hands of the aforementioned criminals. This post is nothing but a lure for the OP to flame the other users here. Luckily, we all decided to kick him in the pants instead because we were all on to his scam. The way he talks tells us that he is up to no good and his comments, not given the time of day.

@Smiley73 I totally agree with what you said here. I believe that the OP was trying to fish for information from the users of this forum. Maybe he wanted the information for black purposes or maybe he was really honest and he just wanted people to share their experiences in this particular thread. It is also highly possible that he wasn't familiar with the forum rules about redundant topics. Since the moderators let this thread stay in the active threads section, then perhaps even the forum owners see some benefit to keeping this thread active. I for one am glad that there is a thread like this one to help remind the current users of the forum, or inform the new users about why they are here and what the purpose of the forum is. Posting in this thread and sharing user experiences can't hurt. It would be good to keep this thread going for everyone concerned.

Regardless of the OP's intentions, I'm just fascinated by the presumptuousness and pomposity of someone's joining any online forum and then immediately starting a thread presuming to "remind" that entire pre-existing community of many long-time members about the "purpose" of the forum.

I think the OP was simply fishing for information on the students. Hoping to gain access to some private data that he might eventually be able to use on the unsuspecting idiot who might have provided the data regarding his dealings with certain writers or writing companies. It appears that the OP did not really understand the purpose of ES. Otherwise, the previous threads alone would have told him that his post was redundant and useless. The students have already discussed their negative experiences to death. There was no more information to be added for him to have. That explains why he only has one thread at this forum, and a useless one at that.

I find this thread laughable. it is reminding students of why they are coming to this forum, while trying to get students reveal information about themselves. All I can say is, beware of identity fraud. It is important to keep yourself private in the academic writing world. Do not be too open about your experiences because too much information could be used against you by unknown players.

Honestly, I'm just now coming up for air. I first started lurking on this forum because I was literally drowning in all these massive papers for my minor subjects-stuff that has nothing to do with my major but was taking up 100% of my sanity. It got to a point where the deadlines were all hitting at the exact same time as my actual major projects, and I was just completely overwhelmed.

I did end up finding an independent writer to help me get through that mountain of coursework, and honestly, it was the only way I survived. But thankfully, my schedule has finally started to chill out a bit, and I've been able to stop relying on them. It feels so good to actually have my head above water again and not be constantly panicking about conflicting deadlines.
