That is useful.

So the thing that determines if the company is American or not is where the company is incorporated, correct? That way an American company can have a total of 100 writers but 99 of them could be non-English speakers but since its incorporated in the US it has the right to advertise as an American company?

as you do on your ripoff sites,

Err, I have nothing to do with ripoffreport which could be useful to find the real fraudulent essay businesses.

For the millionth time, the conflict at hand concerns truthful advertising and actual employment of only native English-speaking writers, NOT Americanism.

That's why my questions. If a company hires 100 writers and 99 are native English speaking writers and 1 is not a native English speaking writer - is the company allowed to advertise that they are American company and hire American writers or not?

I need short answers to these points (YES or NO) and explanation if possible:

1. If a company is based in Ukraine but also hires American writers - is it an American company?

2. If a company is based in Ukraine but owners live in the US - is it an American company?

3. If a company is registerd in the US and has legal US address - is it an American company?

4. If a company is based and registered in the US but hires one or more foreign writers - is it an American company?

5. If a company has no business address available to the public but advertises as an American company, is it an American company?

6. If a company is based and registered in the US, but owners nationality is Ukrainian, is it an American company?

Thank you.

Moderator, can people just post anything now, without any fear of banning? When does it end? Are there no lines to cross? Should I do the same, making completely groundless claims that put this forum at legal risk without any concern whatsoever for the owner of this forum?

I just state that I believe 99.99999% that you are a man and pose as a woman. Sarah, Amy, Elizabeth, Nancy, among a dozen of others, are your favorite fake female names. It seems whenever I post the 100% truth you weep and want to remove my post which meets all the rules.

Don't worry, you will be exposed sooner than later. Then you will cry like a baby. Readers should know that what I write is 90% true (10% is my best guess based on years of my research).

It appears you've always wanted to be a woman (posting under dozens of female names) and then you will have a chance to be a woman. A man weeping like a woman...

LMAO! Any proof? Nope.

Here is your proof: posiwid.blogspot.com/2006/06/essay-fraud-2.html. You post in that thread as "Elizabeth, Essay Fraud" and a 4th grader can prove it to you you are one and the same person. It's a very interesting reading, btw. I could spend some money and hire a professional but it's too obvious.

Any proof?

I'm not that stupid to post a proof so that you could threaten yet another website owner. And I suggest no one to post any proofs now because the proof will be gone within a few days. Make screen shots of everything before you post it in public for him to see it.

The EssayFraud site did not "quickly" sell, liar.

You obviously know better since you were running the site. I cannot argue with that.

In fact, public records indicate that EssayFraud did not change ownership until January 21, 2009, which is THREE MONTHS after the owners won the lawsuit on October 21, 2008.

It took 3 months to sell the site. You were the first to annouce that because the site was run by you. Or it's just yet another coincidence. LOL.

That's how ET gains market position - they didn't manage to do it by Essay Fraud but somehow managed to do it the slick-lawyer way. But they still "got owned" by them because they had to sell the site and quickly remove all connections or else their commercial sites would "get owned" as well. Students who order from ET and try to submit papers as their own should be aware of the fact that they could "get owned" too.

It's good you mentioned EssayRelief because all related sites are hiding the facts like their real business address and resell their papers to other students after a certain amount of time. There's [?phrase=essayrelief] plenty of evidenceagainst essayrelief.com here so it is in your best interest not to order anything from essayrelief and their affiliates!

As long as the owners of a company are actually native-born Americans

LOL! Then according to your "reasoning" Google is a fradulent company because their owner and founder, Sergey Brin, was born in Moscow, Russia? Or you mean the owners should be Indians, you know, the Sioux ancestors.

This is more proof

Good! Now I finally know what you mean by "show me the proof" -> I can have as many proofs as you want, let me ask my buddies to sign up here and confirm what I want them to confirm. LOL

Most of the websites I purchase things from do not have an address listed on their home pages.

But they do have them listed on "About us" or "Contact us" or "Frequently asked questions" pages. Otherwise you would not purchase from them, would you?

Jun 10, 2009

Now there are the three of you on this forum: FreelanceWriter, you, and your boss, WritersBeware. Nice to meet you :)

Anyway, does it mean that potential clients have no right to know with whom they are dealing with? What is the reason they hide their address from the public eye (and still complain that their competition lists only virtual addresses?).
stu4
Jun 10, 2009

I'm actually in the process of creating a research and model writing service for students. Still working on the "Contact Us" page.... And I've been wondering if to put my business address there or to hide it as some of the "American" websites do. For example, I've been browsing a "reputable" ********* and I noticed they deliberitely hide their business address. It makes me think they could not be based in the US at all.

Anyway, WritersBeware, - would you suggest that I include my true (offshore) address on my website or I should rather try to trick the reader and demand that he or she request it first and only then I would give it to them?

Both of these statements imply that regardless of the number of writers working for a company

What? If I hire at least two PhD writers and I write: "Our writers possess Phd degrees." or "We have PhD writers in our team" - then it is illegal? You must be kidding. How many PhD writers should I have to be allowed to use this sentence, 100, 1000, or more?

And I never wrote "ALL our writers..."

Ps. How about not displaying the corporate address and make the customer inquiry about that, is it legal in the US or not?
stu4
Jun 09, 2009

Go and watch a commercial and you'll realize 95% of the statements are "blatantly fraudulent". But my statements are not fraudulent. Which one is fraudulent?
stu4
Jun 09, 2009

1. Do not post your business address at all - in your FAQs section (in small font if possible) write that "your corporate address is available upon request." 99.5% of students won't even bother to ask you about that. If they do, provide them with your correct address, or course. But do list your American or Canadian virtual addresses because that's where most of your correspondence may rightfully come to.

2. If you hire at least two American or British writers, feel free to use this wording: "Our American writers..." or "Our British writers...". etc.

3. If you hire at least two writers with Phd degrees, feel free to use this wording: "Our writers possess PHD degrees..."

That way your business will be perfectly legal around the world and WB will have to take up a real job again.

That's too funny, American sites, according to WritersBeware, can cheat the law (and professors) but their competition can't.

I know where you're going, you just want to get rid of the less expensive and more reliable competition so that your fraudulent affiliate sites could help cheat students without border constraints.

You gladly take international clients, don't you (you even provide translations of your site in many languages, including Russian LOL). Do you also tell your international clients "you Russian fraudster" or "you Chink" or money don't stink in that case?

Again, if you want to make an accusation, the first requirement is to post proof of purchase.

Memphis3427 -- be careful. If you post any identifiable information then it's easy for people like ..cough cough.. to track you down and then to blackmail you.

If you had excluded the second website's name in the parenthesis LOL

(bestessays, *********, advanceessays all of them ********)

, WB wouldn't have a reason to attack you ;). He's so predictable ... :).

Writing Careers / 4writers.net scam or not ? [91]

WritersBeware you are very efficient please trace something about this site. Is it fraud ?

I think it could be fraud. The most important fraud sign - it does not list their corporate address (so it is probably based in a high-risk country for the customer or their operations are shady). I wouldn't give them any personal details.

Then why did you HAVE to sell essayfraud? LOL And changed the ET's warning page not to show any connection with ET that started Essay Fraud? Because you were afraid ET would be banned too> LOL

Now we have direct threats from Stu4, proving once again that he is directly associated with the fraudsters.

You have problems understanding the meaning of the message. I wrote if "site X" - do you have any evidence on "site X"? Maybe "site Y" or "site XYZ"?

PS. You can call me an investigator too, or even a Senior Investigator.

academia research looks like another scam.

You know it takes a few hours to get subpoena and track your IP address to your home address? What would you tell the judge if he asked you: "You claim site X is a scam. Show me THE PROOF or you will go to jail for defamation." Are you ready for jail time?

May 02, 2009

Oh, and this part is EXTRA tasty: that page also contains evidence that essaywriters.net has been-and still is, through a dedicated domain-directly responsible for online defamation campaigns against ET.

Elizabeth, how extra tasty it could be - it's hard to compare what you did on Essay Fraud (you listed and slandered there how many - 600+ websites?).

The evidence? - don't worry, it's all there on bluehost backup servers. Notes have been taken by *****'s lawyers, too.

A legitimate UPS or postal address is not FAKE, it is a legitimate business address. Take Microsoft Corporation that lists PO BOXes as their contact information: microsoft.com/worldwide/phone/contact.aspx?country=New%20Zealand

NO ADDRESS or ADDRESS HIDDED VIA PROXY SERVICES indicate shady operations (possibly from countries like Nigeria or Senegal).

Essay Services / premium-papers.com - Scam or Not? [17]

I just looked at the registered information under the domain name premium-papers.com which is the following:

But they have a legitimate corporate address listed, no?

I know that all scam companies hide their corporate address and use proxy or web hosting registration services.

I know, but I get spam message every day from people who claim to be based in the US and in fact are based in Nigeria or Senegal. You really have not any corporate or mailing address of the company you paid money?
stu4
Apr 30, 2009

In general I meant that they are not based in the US, even though they may claim to be "proud and American".

I think not posting a business address is the first and the most important RED FLAG of possible fraudulent activities. Fake address could be verified and challenged, but no address at all leaves no proof and is usually a strong indication of shady or illegitimate operations.
