Real pay in the academic writing world is just like the creature know as Yeti or Big Foot. Everyone talks about him but no one ever really sees him. Academic writing is either a labor of love or something you do to kill time while your other dreams come true. You will never be rubbing shoulders with Donald Trump from writing essays. Pleasant thought but highly unlikely.

Last year in a remote village there was a vote between Supawriter and 3 of his best friends where they were voted the best writers in the universe by a 3-0 decision. Too bad you were not there to cast your vote, then maybe you could be an award winning writer like our grammatically challenged friend Supawriter! I guess in the essay business as long as you tell people your the best there will always be some poor chump who believes you.

Well the owner of the site always wanted to be a "Professional Mambo Dancer" but in Kenya dancing in the mambo style is strictly forbidden. Violators caught mambo dancing are put in a cage and poked with sharp sticks by school children. OK, I made that part up! The truth is that the guy owns a company called Mambo Microsytems that provides Reseller and Dedicated web hosting plans. Somewhere along the way (like every other yahoo) he thought he could make some fast money on the essay business. That my friends is the story of the infamous mamboessays.

It looks like Africa is the new battlefront in the "custom essay writing war". Like most writers I sometimes search Google looking for things I had written in the past (out of sheer curiosity). I was shocked to see that an essay I wrote like 3 years ago was posted as a "Free Sample" on several sites based in Africa. I was confused as to how this happened but was paid for it and really don't care where they end up once I am compensated. I read a few of the sites and noticed that they all have the same copy & pasted content (SEO FAIL). I had to laugh when I saw that most of the content is stolen from other "industry leaders" and that the genius who made the sites even left the names of a few sites in the stolen content! Who knows how many other sites this guy has littered with fowl and broken English? I am sure the village essay mill can blast out that dissertation with perfection and proper citations?

Writing WarLet it be known that there is yet another scammer trying to fool students.

Yea they took everyone from the search results and tried to hijack their site names, that sounds like a good company who cares about paying writers as much as possible (because it is clear to see they did not spend the money on web design considering most of the sites are just a screen shot!)

If they have a Ukrainian IP and this lady got a Skype call from someone in Ukraine, then where is the mystery here Sherlock Holmes? That was more than likely one of their "Native American Writers" calling after a hard day of hunting buffalo on the open plains. You know I got a phone call 3 weeks ago from a telemarketer named David, sweet Jesus what if it is the same guy... just calling people?

pheelyks has the right idea, most students just need the threat of calling them out and reporting them. If you drop the name of the school they attend then the fear really sets in that they just tried to rip off the wrong person and you will get paid.
