I have experience with them and I have found they always pay what I earned and on time. They generally have a good number of orders on a wide variety of subjects, although $20 per page is very unusual unless it is a rush job. In general, the rate is $9-12 per page.

And I would say that a writer can make $2-3,000 per month with them, depending on the number of orders taken.

Essay Services / bestessays.com review? [107]

All I know is that Essay Writers.net, which evidently operates under a variety of fake names, should be avoided at all costs. I worked for them a short time and they tried to cheat me out of thousands of dollars, until I complained to the Justice Departmnet and Federal Trade Commission about them. That got their attention like nothing else, and I got my money out of them, but I can't advise people strongly enough to avoid this company.

I don't know how they stay in business or stay out of jail, but the U.S. government and various state governments are well aware that they are a fraudulant operation.

There is no bigger fraud than EssayWriters.net. The only way I ever got my money out them was to file complaints with the FBI and Federal Trade Commission. For some reason, they didn't like that.

Do not go near them or any of the other companies affiliated with them.

They do this with all their writers. It's a well known part of their scam.

How many times have writers been warned to avoid this company?

Writing Careers / Writing for Academic Knowledge [160]

Avoid them at all costs. This is one of the companies that cheated me. EssayWriters.net was the other.

Don't go near either one: that much I can tell you from personal experience.

Just ignore their threats and tell them you quit. They can't do anything.

This is a company well known for using "fines" to scam its writers in any way possible.

EssayWriters.net is the biggest fraud in the business and will pull just about any scam to avoid paying its writers.

The only way I got my money out of them was to report them to the Federal Trade Commission and FBI for fraud, and let them know that I had. I haven't gone near them since.

Writing Careers / Writing for Academic Knowledge [160]

I wrote one paper for them and never got paid, so I quit at once. End of story. I learned from my experience at Essay Writers.net to walk away when the company starts trying to pull this crooked stuff. End of story.

Even after I quit Academic Knowledge, I kept getting New Brief Notices from them as well as a couple of snarky emails, but naturally I was never paid for that single order I did for them.

I finally had to call them on Skype and tell them to stop sending me emails, since I sure as hell wouldn't be writing another word for them again. I may be just a dumb old hick from the wrong side of the tracks, but I know when I'm being ripped off. They may get me once, but never again.

That description fits Essay Writers.net and Academic Knowledge, based on my own unpleasant experiences with those companies. They were the worst, but I found one good one that paid hoestly and on time. Given the amount of pure fraud on the Internet, I haven't come off too badly.

I only worked for one called Academic Knowledge and got ripped off. It was just for one paper and I quit immediately after I realized it was a scam. Other than that, I know nothing about any UK companies.

I've worked for them (CustomPapers) and have always been paid on time for my work, usually the next day for each completed project. I have had trouble with a couple of scam essay-writing companies so I appreciate working for people who actually do not try to rip off their freelance writers.

Writing Careers / Writing for Academic Knowledge [160]

Well, I don't work for any outfit that has ripped me off even once. I've had bad experiences with Essay Writers.net as well, so as soon as I get the sense that someone is being dishonest, I just walk away. All I said to Academic Knowledge was "goodbye", and I will never give them the chance to cheat me again. I'd be a fool if I did, and in any case, I don't need the stress.

Writing Careers / Writing for Academic Knowledge [160]

I only wrote one essay for Academic Knowledge, never got paid for it, and quit at once. They never have many orders available anyway because their reputation is so bad.

This is one outfit I can advise everyone to avoid based on personal experience. They are total crooks.

I only wrote one essay for them, got ripped off, and quit immediately.

My advice to writers is have nothing to do with Academic Knowledge at all.

In my opinion, they are just about the biggest scam out there, except perhaps for EssayWriters.net--a pure rip off of the writers.

I had only a brief experience with them, got ripped off, and quit immediately.

To request money on pay pal, just click on the Request Money tab and enter the email of the company--or whoever really pays their bills.

Better yet, click on Merchant Services and then Send Invoice and enter the email of their account. Keep sending them reminders every day, too.

Here's what Essay Writers owes me. they paid me at first, then stopped this week, missing the January 15-17, 2010 payment. When I complained and refused to complete any more orders, they naturally started imposing various "fines" and deductions. I deactivated my account yesterday, knowing I'll never see a penny from them.

I also reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Cyber Crimes decision of the US Justice Department.

They did not pay me, either, after January 15-17, 2010. He is the information I copied from their website.

Writing Careers / Stop Writing for essaywriters.net [340]

Actually, I posted it on this site and someone removed it, which is why I will post it again. they paid me $5,300 for my early work then just stopped.

I just deactivated my account with them yesterday, and found it was easy to get other online writing jobs. I doubt very much that I will ever be paid by Essay Writers.net: at least, i won't be holding my breath waiting for that $4,700!

There is a method to their madness at Essay Writers.net: they tend to pay their writers at first and then stop after a month ot two and bring in new ones. Evidently they have been doing this for years if one follows the messages on threads like these. Somehow they must find this very profitable, at least in the short-term sense.

By the way, if Essay Writers.net really were located in the US, this pattern of behavior over many years would be considered fraud. There are already laws against that, state and federal, which is why it would be nice to finally get the Justice Department, FBI and Federal Trade Commission after them.

My advice would be to report them to all these agencies, as well as the US Department of Labor.

They may not be able to get to these people wherever they are really located, but they would be able to stop them from advertising in the United States under their various names.

Writing Careers / Stop Writing for essaywriters.net [340]

I worked for Essay Writers.net for four months and they paid me about $5,300.

As soon as they missed a payment, I complained and deactivaited my account with them. They owe me about $4,700 but I don't expect to see any of it.

They pay twice a month, but as soon as they missed a payment I refused to wrork on any more essays. They owe me over $4,700 to be exact, but given their history, I am well aware that I will never see any of it.

Like I said, I was surprised that I even received $5,300 during the four months that I did work for them. I think I did better out of it that most people who have had experience with Essay Writers.

They paid me for the first four months i worked for them--about $5,000--and then they just stopped.

They owe me about $4,000 and I doubt very much that I'll ever see any of it. In fact, I'm surprsied that I got as much as I did out of them.

That's always been the main problem with Essay Writers.net, simply not paying the writers at all.

The best thing to do with in this case is report them to the Federal Trade Commission and US Department of Labor, since they are using a telephone number with a 302 area code, which is Wilmington, Delaware.

I worked for them about four months and they did pay me during that time. I wrote quite a few essays for them for a wide range of prices. In the busy seasons, prices of $15-25 a page are not unusual.

I made about $5,300 (US) for them in about four months, but then they just decided to stop paying. They owe me over $4,000 now and I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for it.

That has always been the real problem with Essay Writers.net--simply not paying their writers at all.

My advice is to report them to trhe Federal Trade Commission and US Department of Labor, since they still use a telephone number in Wilmington, Delaware with a 302 area code.
