If you choose a freelance writer, how can you check their credentials?

Where can you find legitimate freelance writers? Obviously there are a few on this website, but how can you contact people without breaking the rules? Are there websites where you can find freelance writers without having to go through companies that seem to be fraudulent?

I find their website is often down- which makes it difficult to contact them if you have a project with them.

I have been contacted by several students whom have paid for services and, as yet, you have failed to meet. I feel taking money from students and NOT delivering their work as stipulated fails to meet trading standards. In the last four days I have had several calls relating to poor sevice.

I have a student waiting on an essay due in tomorrow and as yet UK Essays have failed to deliver??? Sound familiar, dont waste your money

Is there a site that people have found reliable to contact freelance writers?

Has anyone had experience with them from a customer's perspective? I am thinking about posting some essays with them and I want to know if they are reliable. Do they only take on essays which they know they are capable of writing? Do they have a good screening process for their writer's? Are their claims true? Do they meet their deadlines?

Could someone please give me the threads from this forum which discuss legitimate companies? I am trying to sift through the many discussions to try and figure out which are the legitamate companies. From the discussions, it seems to me that ********* is legitimate, but are there others? What are the threads from the discussion forums that may help me decide?
