I'm sorry, I know this is an old thread but I came upon it while searching for the motivations behind WB's efforts on this site. Anyway, while reading the first couple of posts, I came across something that just made me laugh and I thought I'd share it with everyone. Don't get offended WB. Everyone slips up in their logic every once in a while. Sometimes ya just gotta learn to laugh at yourself.

Actually, I was referring to the other thread.

I admit the post in this thread was a little off-topic, but I found it funny and decided to share it with the other members. I was just trying to introduce some light-hearted humor into this pretty strict and hateful forum.

So this is what I submitted in my rewrite request to an essay corporation writing office:

Essay Corporation"I did find some grammar mistakes, but that is to be expected, and I am not concerned with that.

However, I am concerned with the following 4 things:

1. The paper was supposed to formatted with 1 inch margins (as per the information in the FAQ). It was not. It was formatted with 1.25 inch margins.

2. At the beginning of each paragraph, there was a double indentation instead of a single one.

3. The reference page should be a separate page in addition to the 7 pages, and not part of the 7 pages.

Correcting for the above 3 items, barely makes 6.25 pages of text.

4. This is the most IMPORTANT point. In my directions for the paper, I asked that there be a thesis question formulated and argued. The sample paper was simply a research paper with no argument. That is exactly what I stated I DID NOT WANT the paper to be."

I thought I was very nice considering the blatant attempt to use up space by changing the formatting.

What do you all think?

Also, perhaps I should just do the revision myself instead of trying to get the writer do it?

I apologize. You are correct. That was most likely an honest mistake.

However, there is still the issue of the other three points, the last one being the most important one.

Don't get me wrong, other than those 4 issues, the paper is fairly well written. And one can definitely tell that it was written by a native english speaker. However, the fact remains that it did not follow the specifications provided.

Hopefully this will be resolved in the rewrite, and if it is, I'll be sure to make note of it in this forum.

Hopefully this will be resolved in the rewrite, and if it is, I'll be sure to make note of it in this forum.

But still, I don't see anything in the terms of this website that would make my topic inappropriate.

You're right. I have not been scammed. As of right now I am a fairly satisfied customer. Maybe, I should have posted this in the off topic forum. My bad.

I'm quite certain that your issue will be resolved.

I hope so. And believe me, once it is, this forum will be the first to know.

woah, its hard to quote you accurately with all those edits. lol
