Don't waste your breath, Julie. Lavinia's too proud to accept that she was wrong about standard deviation. Despite the bad sentence construction and muddled thoughts, Lavinia probably can write a page or two. And because she can string words into semi-coherent thoughts, Lavinia now thinks she's a statistics expert.

I don't agree with fraud either, but calling Lavinia's erroneous put down brilliant? How cow!

your total lack of comprehension skills

Duh... Don't you have another one of your brilliant put downs? I'd like to see real wit coming from you, that would be refreshing.

Well lo and behold, while the average did increase by taking out WB's IQ score, the standard deviation ended up decreasing.

Evidently, the who called me a mr-n for lack of anything brilliant to write, DOES NOT UNDERSTAND the definition of deviation. Lack of comprehension, eh? Didn't you know that it takes a 140 IQ to understand the complexities of mathematics?

And her pigheadedness is amazing, it's almost brilliant if it weren't moronic.

My guess for the posters IQ here would be:

Margie: 140
EW: 140
JULIE: 120
WritersBeware: 100
Lavinia: 84

Take a guess who got the lowest? I'm quite generous as it is.

Here's a hint, Lavinia: when you try to defend a mathematical ehrm, error, you don't use too much words. Only stupid math posers do that. The real math geniuses would understand an explanation without the verbiage. Have you seen how theorems are proven?

I know that you are pertaining to the fact that 73 jumped to 96 and the difference between the two is roughly 2 population deviations, but saying that the score "increased" in this manner is incorrect where statistical terminology is concerned.

Hahaha, you're actually bothering to explain it? You're a saint. Ops! Now, I'm going to get accused of defending you -- the proven crook. ",)

"How dare you call a crook a saint?" "You are in league. You are paid by these fraudulent writing companies." And so it goes...

Buh-bye. Don't get too pissed. I'm not really serious about EW being a saint. :D

@jassrosy: I was told I'd get paid within 24 hours. So far, their promises have been good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

@Lavinia: Xoom charges about $9.99 for $500. I don't mind getting charged since the money goes to my account within the day.

After 24 hours have passed there's no payment as promised. Oh, well, life happens.

And now I'm told the payment will be made on Monday. LOL.

So, okay, everyone's waiting to get paid. I hope we all get paid this week.

Anyway, I don't think writers get only 1/8 of the price. I was able to get a $14/page order; sometimes $26 if it's math-related.

@EW_writer:

My Dec 1 payment was also late for four days. When I asked customer service why it was delayed, I was told it was due to some technical problems, which was probably true because some credits in my account were doubled that week.

As for xoom, I'm not sure what "cancellation pending -- credit in progress" means. The usual flow is like this:

Transaction initiated
Bank Account Payment in Progress
Payment Authorization Pending
Processing Payment
Payment Authorization Successful
Money Available for Recipient
Processing Disbursement
Bank Deposit in Progress
Transaction Completed.

Xoom will email you the transaction's progress. If it's Underway already (i.e., payment authorization successful), then you'll get your money within the day or the day after. There are delays when the sender's account doesn't have enough funds (obviously) or your account information is erroneous. The best thing you should do is to ask xoom's customer service.

It's Monday night and I haven't received a xoom message yet. Time to pester EW's customer reps. ",)

I've just had a chat with Susan and Jennifer (or whoever they may be) and I was assured that my payment will be processed within the day. I certainly hope so. I'll check again by 1 a.m. I hope we all get paid before Christmas day. Merry Christmas everyone! :=)

Just great. Didn't you guys say the delay in your payment was because you're all using wire transfer? That's funny. I just got an mail from EW saying I have to received money using wire transfer because xoom is not working, uh, properly for them.

@EW_writer: I hope they'd pay me this week. I've been writing for them for the past three months. This is the first time that payment has been like this. How about you?

@Imee: You better call your bank now. The information they'd need for wire transfer can easily be obtained from your bank.

Dec 28, 2007

I've stopped pestering them, Imee. I got tired. :)

The last time I asked, I was told the Dec. 15 payment will be processed Jan. 1 and the Jan. 1 payment will be processed on schedule. Okaay...

I would have pestered them some more but my boyfriend said I'm not starving so why risk getting a high blood pressure? :=) I got his point. It's just money, anyway. If they'll pay, I'm going to be happy. If they won't, I've learned a lesson the hard way and I could probably do a write-up for some local papers to discourage others from writing for the company.

My earnings for Dec. 15 and Jan. 1 have moved to the paid column, Imee. I've yet to see the amount reflected on my account though. I wonder how fast wire transfers take? Shouldn't they be instantaneous?

EW_writer and jassrossy: did you get your Jan 1 payments?

I think I know why your friend was terminated. One, she may have been excessively rude. You can always complain and whine and do whatever makes you happy as long as you keep it in a professional level. Or you do it in a forum like this one. Two, she had plagiarism complaints. Her earnings for a two-week period gets paid after two weeks. That means, those that were moved to March contained texts that could be found on other published papers. How she writes is not a question, it's simply the amount of the so-called "plagiarized" texts. Plagiarism could be unintentional, you know.

To be fair to Essay Writers, their representatives are helpful and not rude. As you've noticed, we've waited two weeks to get paid. And we got paid. It's probably because we knew how to properly demand what's our due.

If we could all be professionals in how we deal with the writing agencies, there'll be world peace. LOL. ",)

Hahaha... emjay: get real. Do you think a general would bother hunting down somebody for $500 or so? The general is made to sound like a hired goon.

Jan 04, 2008

Just what I thought. Accused again of getting paid to defend Essay Writers. LOL. Really, you're funny. Did you actually read all the previous posts here? And you know, It'd would help your cause if you'll make your posts more, er, readable?

It'll be interesting to actually see you make good of your threats. :)

And yes, EW, you don't need to explain the "me" in your post. I wonder why emjay seemed confused. ",)

@Cas: While many people claimed to have been scammed by Easy Writers, which I think is the "parent" company of Writers.ph , some of us here have been receiving payments, albeit some delays. I also had the xoom to wire problem that caused my Dec. 15 payment to get paid on Jan. 3. Waiting for two weeks to get paid was alarming, more so because many people were saying bad things about EW.

As for the verification process, it takes 24 to 48 hours. Everything is actually written on the system guide portion of EW's site. I don't know if Writers.ph has the same facility.

Jan 04, 2008

emjay, take a hike. You need it. I don't wonder why you didn't get paid. Bringing in the NBI? What are you, Microsoft? har har har

And besides emjay, didn't you know about going to court to get a warrant? The police or any authority can't just bust in and demand payment. What are they, money collectors? ahahahahahah

First, you made the general sound like a hired goon. Second, you made the authorities sound like money collectors. What's next, emjay?
margie
Jan 06, 2008

What? The general and the NBI all failed to show up? Why don't you call in the president and be done with those who "scammed" you? LOL.

Anyway, victim writer 2, being ignorant about the law won't get you anywhere. And pretending you have connections won't make you sound more believable. Do you know how it made you sound? F-O-O-L-I-S-H.

Go ask your general and your nbi allies if you think you can just bang on somebody's door and demand for money. That's never done in any democratic country. Where do you live, in Cuba? Or maybe, you and your friends are mafiosi? No, don't bother answering. I know where you live in case you missed the sarcasm. *wink*

Is there a margie at writers.ph? I didn't even know it existed until imee brought it our attention. In case you didn't notice, margie is just an alias I'm using in this forum. Isn't that supposedly obvious? Geesh.

Well, anyway, I still hope you all get paid. :)

@pepi:

It always helps to be assertive in a good way. As you've said in a post in a different thread, antagonizing them might not help you at all. I agree. There are different ways to win. Being foolish is simply not one of them.

I feel sorry for those that haven't received payment from writers.ph. I really hope you all get your due.
margie
Jan 08, 2008

No. I work for essaywriters.net. The lowest I've seen at EW is $2/page, but only occasionally. Most of the orders I've taken are priced at $8-$14 per page. If writers.ph offers $1.4/page, then EssayWriters definitely pays better. The highest at writers.ph is only $2.8/page? The highest priced order I've seen at EW was for a linear regression assignment. It was for $26/page.
margie
Jan 12, 2008

I will make sure that each of EssayWriters.net's writers will be held accountable as co-conspirators to the fullest extent of the law in which each writer resides.

Hahahaha! How naive.
margie
Jan 14, 2008

They'll pay you if that's what you're afraid of. Just make sure there are no plagiarized texts. Restate and paraphrase always. If you're good at what you do, there's no reason to worry.
margie
Jan 15, 2008

if you choose to write for them despite all the posts, don't come whining here when they decide to start holding payments again.

Aye. Suffer in silence. LOL.

Peter Richardson

Did it ever occur to you that that name could be an alias?
margie
Jan 22, 2008

@houris:

I don't wonder why you don't get paid. Your grammar and spelling are horrible. No wonder many Americans think ESL writers are poor writers.

It seems you missed my point. That $26/page rate applies to a math assignment I had at essaywriters.net. If you'd care to read all the previous posts before that, It'd become apparent that we were comparing prices between Writers.ph and Essaywriters.net.

What's a LIER? Let me guess. It's a person who's taking a rest by lying down. Har har har. That was supposed to be sarcastic, but I'm not good at it so I'm pointing it out in case you've missed it. :)

Let's not work for Peter Richardson!!!! Err, does PR own papers4you?

Okay, no need to answer that. I was just teasing. *wink*
