Hi All,

I work for UKEssays.com and we're part of the Academic Answer Ltd group, and I thought I'd explain why we operate under a few names;

It's easier for us to specialise this way, we can diversify our services.

We've always been transparent about this though, and while I can understand people thinking it's sinister to operate like this, please remember that most MNC's operate under various guises!

Regards,
PeterParker

Hi Polymath,

I work for UKEssays.co.uk (which is also .com) and I can assure you that we are in no way connected to ukessay.co.uk.

We've recently had a lot of attention in the UK media and ukessay.co.uk set up to ride our coat tails...

Be Aware!!

Hi MJ1,

If you could get your friend to contact me personally at PR {AT} UKEssays.com with her details and order number, I can sort everything out for them.

We have about 6,500 customers every year, a few bad experiences are going to occur, but we try to avoid these instances at all costs and I hope that we can sort out your friends issues.

Also, all of our researchers hold at least a degree, with most holding master's degrees.

Regards,
PeterParker

Hi Nenn and Major,

We use our own bespoke plagiarism scanner that ensures that none of our researchers have plagiarised. As every piece of work is sent in, it is quality checked and scanned for any instances of plagiarism.

We do not operate in conjunction with TurnItIn or Universities, therefore there is no chance that any of our customers can be accused of plagiarism.

PeterParker

Essay Services / UKESSAYS PROBLEMS [67]

Hi MJ1,

I've responded to this instance on another post, but if could pass on my email address to your friend (pr {at} ukessays.com), and get her to email all the details of her problem and her order number, then we can hopefully sort this issue out.

Regards,
PeterParker

Hi Major,

Our scanner was commissioned and created for us (and funded privately, by us), but operates almost exactly in the same way as TurnItIn (the only difference is that we don't have access to some of their resources).

This ensures that each piece of work is completely original work.

If your in doubt, try it yourself.

Hi MJ1,

Well if you pass my email address on to her, I'll see what I can do about it.

If your friend has spoken to Tony and he has said that, then you have to appreciate that we operate our business with two sets of clients, writers and buyers.

If your friend wasn't in fact specific enough, then the writers can only work with the information that they have.

However, if you'd please pass my email address on, then I will talk directly to your friend regarding the issue.

PeterParker

Essay Services / UKESSAYS PROBLEMS [67]

Hi All,

I can appreciate peoples skepticism about us using this forum to deal with customer complaints, but surely you'd rather us deal with things somehow than not at all?

Also, you must understand that we have well over 6,000 customers a year, and yet only a handful (about 0.1%) come on here to express a complaint. If this is the medium in which they feel most comfortable to talk, then we'll try and resolve issues on here.

Nenn, if you ever have any problems with our service, then please feel free to telephone us. We have five customer service specific staff working from 9am - 9pm (GMT) and I know that all of those members of staff would go far and beyond to help resolve your problem.

FrostatMidnight,
I can understand (and up until a few months ago, felt the same way) why you would think that cutting out the the company would be more efficient. However, you leave all security behind as soon as you bypass a company. In terms of the works quality, whether it's been scanned for plagiarism, the prices, the amendments, and this is without moving on to the issue of payments, refunds, unhappy sales...

It's understandable to underestimate the amount of work that a company goes through for each sale., but providing that you can find a reliable company that you're happy with, you really should stick to using companies.

Hopefully this will resolve some of your qualms,
PeterParker

Also, Atencorps...

We (UKEssays.com/.co.uk) do not offer a 25 day delivery period. So you must be getting us confused with an imitation site.

UKEssays.com/.co.uk is not a scam, we have over 6,000 happy customers every year, we're a registered UK business and we've been in business for nearly five years.

Best,
PeterParker

Hi All,

If you would like to email or call us with your specific issues regarding Viper, someone will be more than happy to help.

For customers, Viper means that they can scan their own work to ensure it's free of accidental plagiarism (for example, a missing reference or a misplaced quotation mark) which lessens the risk of them being accused by an academic establishment of plagiarism, when they have simply made a mistake (this is something that TurnItIn doesn't allow for, it's black and white, plagiarised or not).

For us, it ensures that our writers are creating original work and that the work we provide is completely free of plagiarism when we delivery the work.

PeterParker

Hi,

You don't mention which company that you work for, but if you'd like to email it over to me, I can have it graded by a team of PhD quality controllers...? It would put your mind at rest, at least.

Send it over to pr{at}uk essays minus the brackets.

Essay Services / Essaybay, what do you think? [264]

FAO WritersBeware.

We (Academic Answers Ltd) have never intentionally advertised our services on this website without being prompted first. We (like many other companies) use the views of the members of this site to improve our service, if this is something that upsets you then you're obviously not interested in improving the industry for writers and buyers alike, which is a serious shame.

Public relations is quickly overtaking advertising as the most effective form of marketing, ask anyone in business and they will tell you that this is true. It isn't the fact that other companies do not want press coverage, it's the fact that they cannot attain it.

Maybe your time would be better spent 'investigating' the fraudulent companies of this industry, but then you wouldn't want to go public with your findings would you? You might get attention... you wouldn't want to w*0re yourself out now, would you?

Hi Calm,
Before anyone else attacks you, I'll say it nicely!

You're not allowed to ask for recommendations on the site, the mods will get angry!

If you want to find the best site, scan the forum for complaints and resolutions, then use everything you can find to decide which is best for you.

All the best,
PeterParker

Me again!
Most companies charge wildly varying prices for work.

(I'm sure someone will contradict me now but..)

The cost (by majority) reflects the quality of work and service.

I'm sure I've just opened the floodgates though!

Hey Solid,

I do work for UKEssays, and I've always been very open about that (check back through my older posts!) and I thought the saying was 'A joke is only funny if more than one person laughs'?

And the suggestion that UKEssays.com operates from the Ukraine is ridiculous, perhaps the only funny joke in your posts... lol!

I wouldn't have thought that the new legislation will effect any country other than the UK, but I'm pretty sure that other countries will take this law on in time.

Essay Services / Essaybay, what do you think? [264]

Hey Solid,

We currently have two accounts, this one and "EssayBay". These are the only current accounts used on this site from anyone involved with the company (which covers any company associated with Academic Answers Ltd). I have been with the company for over 6 months and I know that if anyone posed as a customer, it would be very obvious.

We often find competitors using this site to criticise our service, but as I'm sure you've noticed, they usually only have one or two posts to their name and most people realise their real motives for posting.

PP

Project WorkSS WB,

This is why the verification process is in place. If a buyer is looking to guarantee the standard of writer they want, then they should look for a verified writer. Equally, if a writer wants to compete for the quality briefs, they must prove that they're able to write at that standard.

Suggesting that we verify every writer would simply turn EssayBay into another essay company. EssayBay was established to act as a conduit to allow customers to choose their own writer, surrendering that aspect of control.

We know that EssayBay has had some difficulties so far, but we are working on the problems and I'm sure you will have noticed (if you use the site) that there have been changes made after recommendations from this forum!

If you have suggestions (either writers or customers) then please feel free to get in touch and we will always take on board the suggestions.

Best,

PP

WB,

If you'd care to glance to the title of this post, you'll see that I began a conversation about the custom essay industry and the use of forums, not a post about the company that I work for. It was you and SS who turned this into a conversation about the company that I work for, I simply responded.
