Karmi, the reason why EFL teachers don't actively correct their adult students' discourse (and/or) writing mistakes is that it really doesn't help. Current SLA research informs us that just pointing out the mistake or engaging in recasts (repeating the utterance in the correct way) make little impact in improving an English language learner's speaking (and writing). There are aspects of any language that, once adulthood has been reached, are nearly impossible to master without errors. One example of this problem in speaking English is conjugating the third person singular (she/he/it) of a regular verb in the present tense; quite often students leave off the -s, and it may take many years for him or her to use the form correctly and effortlessly.

Why would it be illegal to sell a term paper? The fraud rests with the person who tries to pass the work off as their own either for publication or academic credit. In east Asia, buying term papers and committing outright plagiarism are barely blips on the radar - different cultures and world view. Many universities know about this kind of cheating and do almost nothing to stop or prevent students from engaging in such practices.

Since this "company" is listed in the DND notice, which is telling in and of itself, I'll write about them anonymously and let readers deduce who they are from there.

Incapable WriterFirst off, they used an unqualified writer whose first language was not English although they claimed otherwise. (An American based writer does not necessarily mean that person did not come from a non-English speaking country.

And, just to be clear, plenty of ESL and EFL trained writers are capable of high quality academic writing, just not in this particular case.) The frequency and type of grammar mistakes in the academic paper I ordered was a dead giveaway to anyone with knowledge in applied linguistics.

Secondly, the writer plagiarized and misquoted mostly one of many academic articles I submitted to help him/her complete the job. (That's right. I even provided them with all of the research needed to write the paper just to see the quality of their work.)

After seeing the product, I complained and demanded a refund. The management replied with a scathing and insulting rebuttal wrought with all of the weasel type excuses disreputable companies say in order to shirk their responsibilities to paying customers.

I was also threatened and intimidated if I persisted in my insistence of a $240 charge back to my credit card.

In case you're wondering who the company is, I'll give you a hint. They're based in Nevada (they at least claim to be - I believe they are from Ukraine). Buyer beware! There are cheaper and better sites. Do your homework before wasting your money on amateurs.
