Duenow.com don't pay their writers

You can add duenow.com to the list of non-paying companies and I would encourage any writers who are currently writing for them to stop immediately.

I had never had any problems with them before, but now I have not been paid for November or December and they currently owe me around $1700. I also saw on the essayfraud board that at least one other writer has not been paid by them, so this is not an isolated incident.

This other writer also stated that he or she has tried calling a couple of different numbers, but these numbers are either not working or not being answered.

The only contact the writers have ever had with the administrators for this site was through a ticket system on the writers' job board and the occassional phone call, but these tickets are no longer being answered. I did manage to track down a couple of alternate e-mail addresses, but neither of these addresses are in service anymore either.

To top things off, the company is still posting new writing assignments on the site, which unsuspecting writers are accepting.

I'm writing this to let other writers know that this company cannot be trusted. It almost seems as though the owner of this site shut the company down, but neglected to tell anyone and is still collecting money from customers.

I believe you. Perhaps this duenow.com are learning from PROJECT1STCLASS/1STCLASS PROJECTS. That is how the incidents are less. What do you say about a person called Peter.William.Richardson (this is how he writes his name in emails), who does not pay 95% writers while his company permanently looks for new writers? His policy is not paying any writer, take more writers and do not pay them and keep on taking writers. You can become a writer in his company any time. The doors are always open. Because the earlier writers are on their way out. All writers lose between £450 to £700. They are never rejected till the amount reaches a higher amount. He is not bothered. He is constantly getting new writers. He does not even ask about your qualifications. You don't have to send him certificate copies. You work voluntarily, leave the money to him and get out. His fresh lot of writers are already writing for him by then. A quick and continuous turnover of human resources. He is not worried about students either. He wrote to my friend that she could sell off the essays to internet if she wants to. Don't you think duenow.com must be a better company? They paid you for a few months at least!

I feel for every writer who has had money withheld for no reason and I wish there was something we could do to prevent this from happening. I had been writing for duenow off and on since 2005, with this last year being my busiest, and had also had some pretty decent sized paycheques from them in the past, which they paid in full.

I know all about fradulent companies like academia-research and essaywriters because I have been ripped of by them too, but this one was kind of shocking because I have not seen any anti-duenow sentiment around the web. I guess all I can do now is try to warn other writers to stay away from this company.

I think so. I had been persistently writing about this man and his companies. I will continue to do that untill I can stop students from going to him and writers writing for him. I have seen four of my friends suffering. We recently had to get essay help. We went to an unknown company that hardly pops up on the net. Blindly went to them by word of mouth and were very happy with the results, although we were rather hesitant in the beginning.

I have seen my friends suffering without money to pay the rent, all because of this one criminal. All such criminals should be flushed out. Other companies pay some amount at least. But this Peter Richardson has found out the most profitable way of doing it. Please inform all your friends not to write for him. You are right. Never heard anything bad about duenow.

There are many more. The entire family of Project1stclass and its owner Peter Richardson. He has kept the trap open on his website for the writers to fall into it. Anyone can simply walk into his company and start writing and lose money.

I have been facing similar nonpayment problems with duenow. I have not recieved any payment from them for last 5 months despite numerous reminders they have failed to send me my money or even acknowledge the mail

The reliability and validity of assessment tools used in the healthcare setting you can pick from a range nutritional, wound, pain etc. You analyse it and discuss how it was developed, its limitations and what you have learnt.

I should have just done it but I was a lazy cow! plus it just seemed like too much work.

Isn't it ironic, "DueNow" not paying its writers. Ha!

I think that when a thread like this dies a natural death, it is because the writers decided to simply cut their loses and move on to their next writing company. There is no sense in trying to squeeze water from a rock. Rather than making themselves even more pitiful and, in order to move on from this horrific experience, they often just let the thread go and hope they have better luck with the next company or, in some cases, when they strike out on their own.

It is important to keep threads like these alive though. There are many lessons to be learned from the misfortune of others. By calling attention to what happened to these writers, others will learn to look out for early warning signs or, if they are associated with the company, they have a chance to get out before the same thing happens to them.

@Write Review I agree with you. Just because the original posting date of the thread goes way back, there are still lessons to be learned from the misfortune of others. That is why I am doing my best to help revive the old threads in this forum. Some of the important discussions, such as this one, tend to fall to the back and its useful information, becomes lost. In this case, it is important to learn from the mistakes of other unsuspecting writers. It is nice to know that the website no longer exists though. Either it changed its name or, the owners ran out of money and more than likely abandoned the writers, who were never able to collect on their fees owed.

Well, this company is now out of business. The url already returns an address not found result so we know that the domain name (at least) is no longer active. The only question that remains now is how much money did they pocket by not paying their writers before they went out of business. That is the way these dark players work. They con not only the students, but their writers as well. That results in severe harm to both victims. This is not a victimless crime as non payment and non fulfillment of orders are both severe offenses.
