who has been paid by writers.ph already?

I've been working for that company for almost two months now. They have not paid me yet for $203. Last time (march1-3) they said they will process my salary as it wil take 3-5 business days. But then, they did not verify my payment details and told me that complaining about my salary after the payroll is against the policy. thus, i should recieve my salary on the next period, which is march 15-17.

I'm asking now, anybody here who has been paid by writers.ph? please tell me when did you got paid so that I will know if they really pay some.. uhm, do they respond with force? I mean, if you threatened them by saying you got the police and your lawyer, will they pay you?

hope someone replies. thank you very much.

Why are you working for writers.com.ph? Have you not read the 10,000 warnings on this site and elsewhere?

hi.. i have been working for writers.ph for 2 months and it is only now that they have paid me. although my earnings summary states that my salary has been paid, when i checked it out on my online bank to see if there has been any deposits, still the same balance appeared. i don't know how to ask the company regarding this matter. i think they are running out of writers because when i told them that i would only write if i got my salary, the next day i was surprised to see that my 1 1/2 month late payments were already paid. However, they cannot fool me by just simply stating that i have been "paid".. for momosigh.. i would just like to ask if you already got your salary and did you go to their office in makati? what happened? thanks

Paid to WriteThey've already processed my salary for 1 1/2 months, which sums up to 272USD..

I was surprised to see my Earnings Report page marked as paid.

I have checked with the bank last week but the same balance appeared.

I've talked to the support team through their messaging system and they managed to give me the tracking number. The only way to find out the truth is to check it out with the bank. I can only do that until the end of this week.

Hope I can get good news with that.

I've have not gone to their office yet but I have plans to. If their payment won't reflect with the balance in the bank this time, then I might have to take the next step.

Too bad for this company. They should have made themselves legitimate as they might have gotten more and more writers to work for them. I sometimes wonder if the call center agents are paid too.

Why do some job websites allow such illegitimate companies.

That's what they did to me. They marked my salary "paid", then i waited for almost three weeks for my salary to appear in my bank account. i talked to the support daily and message them through their system asking for tracking number. they did not send me any tracking number. i just monitored my account until the money was reflected. i hope you guys can get your money. i stopped writing for them after i got my money. its so useless. they are so late in paying their writers.

To those who have been paid,

Please tell me what to do in order to process my payment. My bank cannot give all the details required by writers.ph. Which bank should I use to transfer my funds? Which bank gives all the details that writers.ph is asking for?

Hello. It was shocking that the money was reflected on my bank account. I just recieved my salary for 2 months just last week..

I don't consider this as a tip but it worked for me. I continuosly sent message to the writers.ph team that I will be having a seminar/project at school and that will be after the payroll period. I always send them details about the seminar, who will attend, who are my target audience etc. I told them that I f they would process my salary smoothly, I assure them that will get more writers in return. I also stated that a lot from the invited are MBA holders and the company will benefit a lot from them since they are competitive. That time, my details are not yet verified. I keep and keep on sending them all the "made" information. A few days before the payroll period, They've verified my payment details (subject to receive compensation). But then, they never paid attention to my messages. But i still keep on sending them as many as I can but just ebough not to flood them down. That's it. I got my salary and I never would want to work for them again. NEver even bother to log in to the system again.

i started working for this "company" last December 20. and I was paid only last April 11. That is how late they pay. And notice that they do a lot of deductions, e.g. plagiarism, "spamming the system" etc. I was fined 8 dollars because i kept on sending them messages asking them to pay me or something to that effect and they deducted 8 dollars for apparently SPAMMING their system.

But after some time, they did pay.

I'm going to give a warning though, do not write for pen.solutions. They're crap.

i signed up for writers.ph last november out of boredom and didn't even check if the site was legit because a trusted friend recommended it. the amount they owe me isn't much but it sure would make a difference in my bank account.

first, they said that xoom.com would be the best primary mode of payment, considering my location. then when i asked them why two months have passed and my payment details were still unverified, they said that xoom has a problem with their system and that it would be advisable to choose wire transfer as a primary mode of payment. now, they verified my wire transfer details and they still haven't paid me. they said that i have to accumulate a certain amount before the payment is wired, which is considerably more than the payment amounts i've read that some of you guys received. so i sent them a message asking them that if i hypothetically deactivate my account with them, would that mean i will never get paid? i'm still waiting for their reply. i hope we can find a way to warn people about this organization posing to be a legitimate company.

I have been paid 4 times now. I have nothing more to say...
I started work with them before coming at this forum and like you I also became worried...
But I have got the payments four times... Anyone wanting proof will get it... But working for them is totally your own choice. Paying me doesn't make them legitimate or else because there are many members on this forum who have said that they are not paid so there must be something wrong with writers.ph... But I will definitely work for them...

It's good to know that you got paid. Actually, I feel really scared that I won't get paid. The company has a really bad rep. =s So, can you help me by sending me proof that you got paid? And, if you are from the Philippines, can you tell me which payment method you used and which bank you used? It would really help me a lot.

I am asmaa5m3 an egyptian writer, I worked for them for one month I made 200 dollars then they terminate my account and stole my money, they cheat every person who work for them.

unscrupulous scammers in online writing business. It is owned by Ukrainian nationals who are not that fluent in English. This means that they cannot even write a grammatically correct and properly written high school term paper. Complaints about how Writers.Ph scammed and cheated on its employees cropped up a year ago when most of its office-based writers spread their depressing and demoralizing experiences in online forums. Many testified that this crappy online writing company started its business operation in a computer café in Makati City. Then, like a herd of slaves, they were transferred to an office building without sufficient air-conditioning unit.

There are many reasons why office-based and online writers should leave Writers.Ph and why its former writers left. Despite the fact that many of its former employees and project contractors exposed the immoral and corrupt business practices this fraudulent company, Writers.Ph still continues to treat its writers like SLAVES without even appreciating their hard work and contributions.

The following are just some of the bad and corrupt practices of Writers.Ph:

It offers a very low payout. Most Filipino online writers need to realize that there are ever-increasing online writing opportunities outside this immoral company. There are a lot of online writing companies where they can write and be treated as a professional writer, like Elance.com, Allwriting.net, and associatedcontent.com, among others. Just try to explore and try to maximize the reach of your talent and leave this deceitful company.

It wantonly delays writers’ payment. Most of the complaints centered on the issue of payment. As one former Writers.Ph employee said, a company that does not pay on time is a clear SCAM! Writers.Ph is a scam! It has a lot of reasons to delay the salary of its writers and you don’t have to join Writers.Ph to prove it. THIS SITE IS THE PROOF ITSELF, so QUIT YOUR JOB, LEAVE WRITERS.PH AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY that treats you like a HUMAN BEING.

You should have stopped working for them after a month of non-payment. You sure did not know when to cut your losses. This company does this to all new writers as a baptism of fire. If you hang around long enough, you can expect partial payment. If not, then sayonara, we get to keep your salary. I believe the sayonara scenario is what you fall under. A sucker, is truly born every minute.

There really seems to be a never ending string of problems coming out of Philippines based writing companies. several of their companies have been unable to pay their writers since the pandemic began. These companies have either struggled to pay their writers, defaulted on payments, or ran from their responsibilities. A few have put their companies on the market. I am not sure if Writers. ph is one of them though. The last time I checked, they were considering defaulting on all their financial obligations. I knew the country was severely affected by their mismanaged pandemic economy, but had no idea their companies were in bad shape till now.
