The impact of rhetoric on opinions and cultural shifts fascinated me.
Post-graduation, I worked for major healthcare company, researching rare illnesses and their treatments in order to determine how to best help patients. This was novel ground for me, and the scientific research I did had huge impacts on product development and marketing. While I love my work, writing on scientific subjects and particular therapeutic areas every day can get a bit dull; I am looking to focus my efforts on research writing in order to introduce new information and variety into my daily work and expand my horizons.
Research and writing is a passion of mine because it makes me feel much like a detective.
