Sample Essay About Me

Cover Letter WritingWriting is a passion of mine that I have nurtured throughout my life. Active research has also made up a large part of my education and now also my career, continuing to be a forefront priority for me. With my skill writing, background, and education, academic and research writing is a natural fit for me.

I have always loved to learn and to write. From an early age, I would pour over encyclopedias and academic articles and write down interesting facts that I wanted to remember. Research and new ideas fascinated me. My love of learning and the written word caused me to pursue an English Bachelor's degree because I loved the power of words to shape opinions and paint pictures. I specialized in literary analysis of works written during the Victorian age, and took great pleasure in evaluating the progression of pieces written by authors like Bronte and Austen.

After college, I still felt like I needed to learn more. Because research-intensive classes and writing papers came so easily to me, I decided to pursue my Master's degree. I attended West Chester University and graduated in 2009 with a MA in Communications, with a focus on evaluating political speeches for their literary merit. The impact of rhetoric on opinions and cultural shifts fascinated me.

Post-graduation, I worked for major healthcare company, researching rare illnesses and their treatments in order to determine how to best help patients. This was novel ground for me, and the scientific research I did had huge impacts on product development and marketing. While I love my work, writing on scientific subjects and particular therapeutic areas every day can get a bit dull; I am looking to focus my efforts on research writing in order to introduce new information and variety into my daily work and expand my horizons.

Research and writing is a passion of mine because it makes me feel much like a detective. I know the answer and an amazing story is there somewhere within the academic journals or books, I just need to uncover it and bring it all together. Proper research can shape whole new opinions and insights on popular traisn of thoughts and can develop whole new lines of study.

I excel in this field because of my own natural curiosity and love of learning. There is no such thing to me as a boring topic; everything has a deeply interesting history and impact, it is just a matter of me fitting it into the broader picture to unveil its implications. I never settle for just one point of view, and certainly never one source. I research thoroughly to ensure my work is properly informed.

I am detail oriented and focused on the quality of my work. Average work is unacceptable for me. If I would not be confident that my work is excellent, I would never submit it. I aim for excellence and complete satisfaction with everything I write. After completion, my work is carefully proofread and edited to ensure my own standards are met.

With my focus on continual learning and my cultivated skills with research and writing, becoming a freelance academic writer is a natural fit for me. My background, education, and career path has given me the skills to deliver quality papers efficiently to meet very rigorous standards. By joining such a reputable company as Web Essay Writing, I would be able to develop my own talents while delivering high quality work and truly excel as a freelance research writer.
