I currently work at home as a custom essay writer. Honestly speaking, it has enhanced my growth as an academic writer. My career as a writer has prepared me for a graduate course in Economics and has equally taught me much about self motivation and my inner ability to research various sources and collect data. In a short time span, I have learned much and I have even won the loyalty of a few clients. Honestly, I can confirm that I have had a wonderful experience working from home on the internet as an independent writer.

Work from Home WriterWorking from home has its own ups and downs. You can schedule your own time. Even though, deadlines have to be met even if there is an emergency. As an independent writer, working from home offers unmatched options. Yet, it is this kind of freedom that gives rise to either joy or frustration depending on how an individual does with the available time and makes the choices.

There are many advantages to working from home. First, is the ease of selecting your own schedule. One can pick up an order and begin working on it at any time. For me, being able to do as I please while still develop quality essays is more than having the best of both worlds. I enjoy the flexibility that comes with working from home while at the same time pursue a rewarding and satisfying career.

One thing that interests me most in being an independent freelance essay writer is the joy and satisfaction that comes when a client appreciates your work and chooses you as their preferred writer. The profession is quite rewarding more so in those moments when a client requests that the assignment be done by you and he or she goes ahead to identify you by name. This shows that if you do your work well, you win back customer loyalty.

However, there are some downs that come with being an independent freelance essay writer. Notable among them is the element of taxation. As a writer you are in charge of your own taxes, and as such you are personally responsible to pay them. Unlike other jobs where your employer deducts the taxes on behalf of the tax man, Freelance essay writing companies do not do that. As a writer you have to determine the amount you will need to pay as tax given your income. Second, deadlines have to be met yet sometimes you encounter challenges. I can recall a few weeks ago, after downloading and installing particular software, my lap top crashed. I had to redo 15 pages of work in 6 hours. At first I became very nervous. I came back to my senses and appreciated the fact that I had to finish the work and it had to be quality work. I put myself in order and successfully wrote the essay.

It is true that as a freelance writer, sometimes you have to undergo some challenging and enduring situations, however the job is so much rewarding. Through writing, I have grown and continue to grow not only as a writer but also as a person. Compared to my previous years before I embraced writing, I feel more driven and empowered. I choose what I can do, start and stop when I please. Working from home is my best choice and I cannot image having it any other way.

For aspiring independent freelance essay writers, this is a wonderful career and the best way to gain more knowledge, experience and practical application in the preferred area of study you prefer writing on.

If you need help with model academic research or writing please contact me. Thank you.

As a writer you have to determine the amount you will need to pay as tax given your income.

I guess most writers use professional accounting services to complete their independent freelance writer tax forms. But it can also be done on your own; there's plenty of information about tax news and issues online.

And don't forget the most important point to be garnered from your report: you can get by in this industry, and still be a horrible writer (although you may have to resort to shameless hawking on message boards).

You make the job of an independent writer sound like manna from heaven when nothing can be farther from the truth. Sure you can work your own hours and provide an invaluable service to the students in need, while also honing your own intelligence in the process. The biggest drawback of being an independent writer aren't the taxes one has to pay, it is having to deal with the issues that crop up in the performance of your task that makes it a bane to do the work at times. If you are an independent writer who is contracted with a company, and unfortunately, that happens to be one of the problem companies, then you have to deal with fines, endless revision requests, and delayed salaries. If you are a direct hire independent writer, then you face the daily possibility of chargeback claims, defamation from clients who aren't satisfied with your work or are looking for reasons not to pay you, the list goes on and one. So yeah, while the job pays well, that payment always comes at a cost, depending upon your work situation.

That's why there are few freelance writers who continue working independently for many years; it's much easier and faster to scam one student, register a new email under a new, fake name, and continue scamming. Rinse and repeat. If it wasn't so easy to create a new identity (by creating a new email / writer account), there would be 80% less fraud writers than there are today.

my lap top crashed. I had to redo 15 pages of work in 6 hours.

That's why I've learned to save documents to both my pc and to a backup flash drive after every page (at least) so that every document is protected against a pc crash and no more than a single page of writing (or less) can ever be lost if my pc freezes while I'm writing.

it's much easier and faster to scam one student, register a new email under a new, fake name, and continue scamming.

Correct. That's also one great thing about this forum: it provides a very simple way of confirming how long some of us have been here, operating under a single public ID for at least a decade or more.

Aside from the back up drive saving method, I also use Google Drive and Microsoft One Drive to save electronic copies of my files. I find these methods to be the most convenient saving method actually. I haven't saved data to a hard drive or thumb drive in ages. The cloud offers me more freedom to work in any setting that I choose and the clients also have a direct hand when it comes to commenting on the document for real-time editing.

I found that my clients preferred that saving method because it saved both our energies when it came to revisions and editing needs on the paper. In addition to that, the cloud doesn't have a tendency to crash without warning. I've been known to do on the spot editing using only my mobile phone or tablet even if I am at the sports club taking my daily swim or playing tennis.

This amazes my clients, who never have to wait for me to get home or go get to a place with wi-fi before I can complete the editing / changes to the document since all the club members have free wi-fi access. My friends at the club know that I will always put a game on hold or cut my swim laps in half to attend to my client's needs first. The cloud helps me do that. They appreciate the cloud saving system I use because we both have easy access to the same file and updating the document is a breeze since the cloud allows me to hold office wherever I am and using whatever gadget is available to me at the time.

Working for yourself can be rewarding in many ways, yes, but it's not heaven on earth by any means. We are responsible for everything from A to Z and then some. At the end of the day, there's no "end of the day." We can't simply clock out at 5pm and leave issues for the next person or even the next day. Resolving an issue right away is all on our shoulders and must be done quickly to retain a client and avoid negative feedback (i.e. posting in forums like this).

Sure, I love the flexibility of freelancing, but it's by far tougher than the traditional 9 to 5! I am the worker, the boss, the quality control person, the janitor, the mediator... the list is endless.

You are a great guy. I once tried to work at home. But this is not for me. I always have a lot of things to do now. And I decided to choose the office, because there's a more "working atmosphere" for me.

@naomiking which one is it? Are you a student or a working professional? I am not sure what you are doing here at this point. Your posts tend to confuse me because you don't seem to have a solid direction when you are posting. You are neither a student nor a professional writer so I guess you are someone just practicing how to write in English then?

Can you further explain what you were doing when you were working at home? Were you an academic writer at the time? Why did you say that the work you did from home isn't for you? Very few people can actually say that and actually mean it because of all the benefits that working from home provides. What is so special about office work as far as you are concerned? Perhaps having a regular pay schedule and fixed amount of pay is what drove you to seek regular employment?

@Write Review, I understand that some of my answers may confuse you. I am a student and I once wanted to be a writer, but then I changed my mind. Here I write about my life, and about different stories from the life of my friends, group mates or colleagues.

I find it difficult to concentrate on work at home . For me, home is the place where I am resting. Also quite often, when I work at home, someone can distract me from work, like my parents or little sister.

Therefore, the office is a perfect place for me where I can concentrate and consult with colleagues on certain issues. I also like to work in a team.

I just wrote to you that it was hard for me to work at home and that's all. People are different and everyone likes different.

I get it. You are practicing / mastering the use of the written English language by participating at this forum. That's one of the best ways to do that you know. I applaud you for your commitment to learning the language on all fronts and using all free available tools to help you achieve that goal. I am not confused anymore. I understand where you are coming from now.

I admire that you once wanted to become a writer. What kind of writer did you want to be? A novelist? An academic writer? A journalist? What changed your mind about becoming one? I am glad that you found your happy place to work. That is something everyone must strive to achieve. Yes, people do like different things and do things even more differently. I apologize if I offended you in some way. It is just that your profile had a tendency to make me wonder about your background. I guess I was a bit rough in the way I asked about it.

Again, I apologize for that and I hope to see more of your posts here. It's a great way to practice your English writing skills.

Most of us consider being able to work from home instead of having to go into an office every day to be one of the biggest advantages to writing for a living; but it's probably also a necessity.

Working from home can be quite dragging at times too; and I am certain that most freelance writers are well-aware of this. While there are general ideas such as never working from your bed or maintaining a work schedule, often you still get overshadowed and burdened by a lot of work because you are literally in front of it at all times. Burn-out is a genuine concern here as with every other work-at-home opportunities.

Well, being part of the work from home crowd certainly has its benefits these days. What with the seemingly worldwide quarantine going on and students doing study from home tasks constantly increasing as the threat of the virus keeps people out of the streets, schools, and workplaces. We are the lucky few who have been doing this job for so long that working from home is something that is second nature to us. We don't find it bothersome, we don't find it lacking in social contact since that distracts from our jobs, we don't need to commute, the list of benefits just goes on and on and on... To top it off, our salary is constant. The office workers are either on SL, VL, or unpaid leave at the moment. So we have it great. We are probably the envy of those in our circle of family and friends because we, shall we say, get to have our cake and eat it too.
