Is writers.ph[DND*] an extension of essaywriters.net[DND*]?

Here's what I can tell you, Imee. Essaywriter.Net and writers.ph are sister companies. I work for both. Well, not exactly. I just sort of "pretended" to so I could get more info as, apparently, they just don't stop.
In case you talk to an online rep named Susan, you call her Yulia coz that's her real.. Ukrainian.. name. Don't let Yulia, Andrew(?), & Irene(?) fool you with those "bank change" nonsense as an excuse for the late payout. You don't change banks every payday.
essaywriters.net (which receives its orders from superiorpapers.com, Universalresearch.net, etc) is owned by Olga and Yuri. And they're not from Hendon, VA. Hahahaha. As you can see, they are losing more and more American writers. So they thought, "HEY WHY NOT TRY PHILIPPINES?"
So here they are with writers.ph. They think Filipinos wouldn't care if they get paid $11 for working their *** off a 4-page order, while owner enjoys a $25 profit. You are right, they get 7/8, we get 1/8. They also apparently think that Filipinos wouldn't mind or wouldn't know what to do if they delay the payouts the way they normally do.
The company, we know you're in Ukraine. Ok? You use VOIP. You have over 10 phone numbers with US area codes. These numbers are programmed into phone adapters that you can take with you in Ukraine so if people call you up, it's like they are talking to you within the US.
The company, I suggest you do your role. Give your writers what they've worked hard for.
I have connections here in the US and in Ukraine. Anytime soon you will be kissing a big-time judge's ***.
For now, let me tell you that WE ARE WATCHING YOU.
Yulia, RESIGN. You are working for a fraud company. Do it dear. We know who you are. You seem nice and I personally want to protect you.
@^
Now there's a big boy. I haven't been paid yet and I'm not too happy about it as well but I don't think your ramblings help any of us here who are waiting to be paid. For the record, it's not 1/8 vs 7/8. While it's true that a lot of orders are priced at $2 a page, it's usually up'ed to as much as $10 if you wait long enough.
So, okay, everyone's waiting to get paid. I hope we all get paid this week.
Anyway, I don't think writers get only 1/8 of the price. I was able to get a $14/page order; sometimes $26 if it's math-related.
Hi, I checked bestessays and superioressays prices and they charge $10 per page, and then when I checked with writers they only pay the writers $1.4... I think that's lower than 1/8.
I haven't been paid. :(
$1.4/page? That's very low.
See? That's very low. It's bad enough that they are scamming the writers and they don't pay on time (if they ever pay at all).
I tried applying to another company but it turns out he is getting his orders from essaywriters.net ahahah! and he pays in peso, which is lower than the actual rate of course to generate an income for him. Quite a character.
NO NO NO~ DO NOT WORK FOR writers.ph
Let me tell you about the sad case of my friend who worked there...
she is now waiting for and check this $574.90 and $ 61.40 from her work for dec 15 to Dec 30.
she was terminated before the end of dec 30 because of her handler.
she was absent a day after christmas.
they used this as an excuse to "let her go"
apparently, using all capital letters for writing to customer support was one of the things also hahahaha CITED as a reason to terminate her.
but be that the case, my friend is entitled to her earnings.
What is even sadder is that she already had earnings up to March 2008. the amount quoted above is only for two weeks of work.
she wrote very well, thank you....
We're going to the police soon. We can't get to the family (get it? the Miss Yucks)
but we can get to their Filipino dogs...yes, they are dogs. Dogs acting like managers and handlers.
don't heed this warning and be sorry you didn't.
thanks. y'all have a nice day.
Hi! I'm also working for writers.ph. Did you get your payment from them? I was supposed to get it this Jan 1-3.
The original payment term stated in my profile was through xoom (since it is included in the payment options). When I asked about the delay, they told me that they already forwarded my payment details to their accounting department, for verification. So, I told them that it's okay and then I asked for an estimated pay date. They then told me that they can't give me that info, but they are trying to hasten the process.
And so, I gave them additional information about my bank details, with the hope that it can help them, somehow.
The next time I checked my account, they altered my profile and changed the payment details from "xoom.com" to "Wire Transfer to Philippines". I then keyed in new details for the Wire Transfer, and sent them a message asking for advise regarding which payment option was the best.
They then told me that xoom.com is no longer a payment option for writers in the Philippines. So, apparently the only option I have is the Wire Transfer. Aside from that, I 'm back to where I started- waiting for the accounting department to verify my payment details.
I don't know if this whole process is part of a scam or not. Is it? How many of you have been paid by writers.ph? And, can you possibly tell me how many days will it take the accounting dept to verify the details, based on your experience? Thanks so much. Answers will be very appreciated!
Hi Cas, i'm sorry to hear that but hey that's their strategy. I worked as an office based writer of writers.ph before but i was terminated because of so called 'quality issues.' On my first two weeks we were working at the internet cafe in 168 in makati ave., duh?! internet cafe?! And on my third week we transferred to their so-called 'office' or let me say the 'hell's office' that at 5pm the aircon is already turned off.
Before the 15th of December 2007, the big guy who is the 'rakista' told us that we will receive our salaries thru zoom so we should update it. Okay. But when the 15th came, nobodys telling us that it would came late until one of my teammates compalined.
On December 17th 2007, i began receiving plagiarism complaints. For three weeks i don't have plagiarism record. On December 19th, i received a message from 'quality assurance department' in reading between the lines; i am terminated and that my salary is put on hold. It ain't funny.
On December 20th I received eight thousand pesos from them-- just a piece of my hardwork. The big bucks that i am expecting this 5th of january 2008 had gone as the wind blows. It moved to march 2008. It does mean i won't receive any single penny from them for almost three months. How pathetic.
In return, i want to see them behind the bars. Put them in jail! They are scammers! They should not be doing this to their countrymen in exchange of big bucks!!
I'll se you soon.
This is the message i got from them last Dec19, 2007:
We are sorry to inform you that we have detected plagiarism in your paper(s). Please feel free to view the plagiarism report at your account on Writers.ph. As you know our company does not accept any form of plagiarism. Our mission is to provide our clients with 100% original writing. Unfortunately we have to terminate the payments for your plagiarized orders according to our Policy.
We also have to check all the papers with anti-plagiarism software. It takes time and effort. Our team is doing its best to speed up the process.
You will receive payments for:
- checked and non-plagiarized orders,
- orders with no money back requests from clients within three months period.
You are free to check your papers for plagiarism by yourself. That will greatly help us to speed up the process. You can do it by opening an account at TurnItIn.com or MydropBox.com. You will upload your papers there and then provide us with the full access to your account so that we can view the plagiarism reports on your papers.
We encourage you to check your account regularly to be aware of system updates, new emails and your current status. After the check is completed and we find insignificant amount of plagiarism we will review your status and resume payments for orders without any holds.
We appreciate your working with us and hope for a long-term and fruitful cooperation and hope for your understanding.
Quality Assurance Department.
I have been writing for writers.ph for almost a month now. I have not received my first pay check. Last time I checked the company said that they already wired my first salary. I have to check my bank account this coming week if it's true because as of yesterday I have no transactions yet.
I was surprised to find out that my work last January 2, 2008 is under investigattion. I sent them a message as to why. They told me that the qualty assuarance department detected plagiarism on my work. I reasoned to them that since it's a summary of a book clearly the ideas I wrote was not entirely mine but that of the author's that is the reason why I cited the author's name and date of publication on every sentence and paragraph I wrote. They sent me a message saying "this is noted".
I'm sure that they will deduct half of it from my next salary and it would be moved in two to three months.
I don't know if this whole process is part of a scam or not. Is it? How many of you have been paid by writers.ph? And, can you possibly tell me how many days will it take the accounting dept to verify the details, based on your experience?
this is my friend's personal page on being scammed by writers.ph.
how much were you expecting.
kiss goodbye to what you were expecting.
like we've kissed our earnings goodbye.
but its not just my friend who was terminated for being 'rude'
i was rude and pointed a finger at my manager for telling me about plagiarism last october. but i was paid, once. this friend of mine was also paid once.and just like victim writer what was paid was a fraction of what she was saving up for.
i dare you to click this link.

what's funny, is that she has a text message from her manager saying,
" Why, don't you want it? " and a " Why, don't you want this?"
so its not just the system that was flawed. the manager was some kind of flawed character dude as well.
this is why she was primarily fired. there was innuendo in those messages and he was stupid enough to admit on a taped conversation that that number used to be his number...if it was so easy for them to scam her, its going to very easy to
be vindicated
uhh, the she's a me a her here.
i can't help but also get the feeling that what was professional was to take responsibility for choosing to be personal even if he couldn't make a follow thru for it and not take it out, professionally, meaning, stealing and scamming someone's means of livelihood for the moment.
or yeah, i was terminated, but you know why, really...don't block payment of my earnings when it is just going to go on and on until we all get our earnings.
victim writer may be thin and looks harmless, but i've seen her angry and she wants blood! :-)
and the police told me, when i showed them the messages i sent to the office when
customer support did nothing but badger me with calls the day after christmas, when our manager promised us that we wouldn't be bothered by support at home to avoid any problems with support, and the police said, " that's just alright." ( in the vernacular)
they actually understood my situation. if they were truly scammers, and they are, serves them right.
it supposed to be my first payment of $100. i did not take a lot of projects because i wasn't sure if they would really pay me.
i don't want to antagonize them at this pont because they might hold my earnings. i'll wait this week for the wire transfer. if i don't get my payment this week, i'll go to the writers.ph's office in makati.
Hi
I have been working in writers ph for about 4 months now and honestly, they are always delayed from their pay-outs but they do pay. I have not encountered any unpaid orders, and for those of you who are complaining of not getting paid, please read the rules and regulations. It is true that you can get fired if you reached a specific rate of plagiarism, which is the general rule of all writers.
In case of termination, they pay the last amount of orders minus the complaints and plagiarism fines after 3 months.
They suspend and automatically fire those writers who duplicate their former write ups or have accumulated considerable rates of negative comments and plagiarism.
Thank you
This are my earning's report. All has been paid accordingly (although late). I am just waiting for my january 1-3

@cas i got my first salary today.it's not much but i'm happy i got paid.
i would take a maximum order amounting to $150 and that's it. although they are paying at a minimum for a 3 page paper. still, it's better than nothing.
i called my bank money not here yet :(
HI
imee>>>> are you new to writers.ph a.k.a essaywriters.net? Have you received any payment from them in the past?
Thank you
@imee don't worry you will get paid soon. maybe, you should limit taking projects. i think they really have a problem paying in big amounts. cheer up :D
Hi
Does any of you receive payments from essaywriters.net? Do they pay appropriately even delayed?
Thank you very much
It is a ploy to make money out of your salary. These companies never tell you where you have plagiarised. They only say that you have done so and you would never know where. These are small crooks. But stay away from the biggest criminal of them all, Peter Richardson of 1stclass/projects1stclass/Quality/Dissertation. He has commanding techniques in cheating writers and students both. Please stay away from his many companies.
These companies never tell you where you have plagiarised.
Umm... yes they do.
Hi
For writers.ph, they do send you plagiarism reports that tells you where you have plagiarized the texts. I just don't know with essaywriters.net
@pepi:
wow! good for you. :)
I hope I can also receive my payment soon. My earnings report indicated that they sent the payment already but I checked with my bank and its not there yet... I hope I get it soon. (wishing hard)
1. no, being nice won't guarantee that you will be paid. actually, the threat of legal action and exposure works far better and much more effectively. I say this with full confidence based on my experience with them for the past six months.
2. the Filipino personnel here at Writers.Ph are just "fronts" and are actually helpless when it comes to defending their employees and their writers' rights. Much as they can be really nice, do you honestly think they can do anything without the instructions and money of their Ukrainian bosses? Doesn't make them guilt-free or innocent though.
3. my salary was more than a month delayed. the usual excuses were: account has to be verified, being processed, problem with xoom, re-verifying bank details, re-processing etc. and yada yada. all the bull that you guys have probably received.
4. Seen those plagiarism reports? I mean have you guys really scrutinized them? I got reports that cited NAMES of people and universities in addition to the article "the" as "plagiarized."
5. The payments for a couple of papers I wrote a few months ago were cancelled the same day I submitted it. Why? Support said the client wanted the money back. Now I find this really funny especially since the client gave me high marks/positive feedback for the paper and was even asking how he could send me some gratuity for my work. Unfortunately, no matter what argument I made even sending screenshots of the client messages...nada.
6. When it comes to payment, my experience with them was that things will go okay for the first three pay-outs, some even arriving earlier than the pay-out date. After the first three, prepare for crap. I experienced having my pay for some of the more higher paying articles deferred for two months because support said "the client might change his/her mind."
Other such "delays" and "paycuts" were brought about by penalities from so-called "plagiarism reports" (like the one cited above), alleged bank fees which were denied by the receiving bank (wouldn't you know it?) and other similarly idiotic excuses.
Any of these experiences sound familiar? Email me at writers.scam@gmail.

if a writer really plagiarizes, then the company should fire the writer. the act of plagiarism is very serious from the company's perspective. i could see a writer unintentionally plagiarizing by accident and the company maybe giving the writer another chance, but more than twice warrants termination.
fining the writer and then allowing the writer to write again, then continuing to fine the writer for other supposed instances of plagiarism, is just a scam by the company to take the writer's wages.
the same thing happend to me I finished writing a paper and then i received a report that it involves plagiarism. i defended myself by stating that all things were properly documented. i tried to persuade them to check my work.
one day, i got the feedback from turnit.com. apparently, writers.ph or its sister company has it. they undelined the words "that" and "being" as plagiarism. i sent them a message telling them that these words are general terms that can be used. they took off $3.00 from my next pay check and held my payment. what a*******!
i can't believe it.
i sent them messages again telling them to read my work before accusing me of plagiarism and giving me a fine. alas! a light bulb just clicked. they decided to pay me the full amount and withdrew their accusation of plagiarism.
something happend again today, i finished my essay for lit. the client asked me to do a revision. fine, it was done. but writers.ph held my payment again saying that the client filled a bad survey and that i could check it myself.
i checked my surveys it says i have 2 bad surveys. i tried to upload it but it was not there. i'm just wondering if the bad survey really exists. i've tried uploading it for the third time still it is not posted.
i am suppose to get a measely $48.9 for february 1-3. now, i'm looking at $39.9. and since it's under $40, they would not be able to wire it to my bank and i have to wait for a month to get paid.
it is pitiful.
am back...
payments are still not in...
had 2 positive versus 1 negative feedback...
no plagiarism reports so far... and I hope I won't get one.
the negative feedback came from the fact the the customer didn't provide clear instructions. $10 was deducted... no matter how you reason out, I guess if the customer gives you a negative feedback, you'll get deductions coz they follow the cliche>>> "customer's always right". It's business... customer satisfaction and patronization are their priorities.
am still waiting for the money...hope I get it soon. By monday perhaps.
NEVER TRY TO APPLY TO WRITER.PH MY FELLOW FILIPINOS!!!!
THEY ARE TOTALLY FRAUD AND WILL NEVER PAY YOU!!!
I was one of the writers for that ******* many times they deducted my salary with
lots of nonsense penalties until you loose a penny!!! as a result, you will not get
paid!! Also, THERE ARE THOSE WHO POSTED HERE AND SAID THEY ARE PAID, DON'T
BELIEVE THEM,,THEY ARE FROM THAT ****.. SCAMMERS WHO WILL TRY TO PROTECT
THE WRITERS.PH ********.
I care for writers like me, filipino or not, just BEWARE of THOSE ANIMAL HEARTED COMPANIES...
WRITERS.PH ONLY USES CALL CENTERS IN THE PHIL. TO DISGUISE AS LOCAL COMPANY BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE NOT LOCAL..THAT'S WHY THEY DON'T CARE FOR US!!!
I don't think writers get only 1/8 of the price. I was able to get a $14/page order; sometimes $26 if it's math-related.
wHAT YOU HAVE SAID MARGIE IS A JOKE..you're such a lier here in this forum!!! ARE U ONE OF THOSE UKRANIAN WHO TRIES TO DEFEND UR COMPANY? HAHAHA. there have never been 14 dollars per page in writers.ph. or even $26..hello?? lier! I was a writer in writers.ph
This are my earning's report. All has been paid accordingly (although late). I am just waiting for my january 1-3
oh really? so, what the sense of posting your salary here? to make the readers/writers apply also? don't fool us joker.. Even if your statement is true, this site is for essayfraud and not about patronizing the work. it doesn't make sense if u posted it or not b'coz what the people here cares is how to be not fooled by those monsters indisguise of human forms..
chow!
@houris:
I don't wonder why you don't get paid. Your grammar and spelling are horrible. No wonder many Americans think ESL writers are poor writers.
It seems you missed my point. That $26/page rate applies to a math assignment I had at essaywriters.net. If you'd care to read all the previous posts before that, It'd become apparent that we were comparing prices between Writers.ph and Essaywriters.net.
What's a LIER? Let me guess. It's a person who's taking a rest by lying down. Har har har. That was supposed to be sarcastic, but I'm not good at it so I'm pointing it out in case you've missed it. :)
@margie
I apologize for saying that u'r a liar...
ok..you're right. my spelling and grammar are horrible. I did not see it..he he he b'coz i just typed without reading my post... will not argue anymore. I just care for writers who are cheated by their employers.. and it's true that the papers in writers.ph are, mostly, $1.4/page.
my question is this..they did not pay me b'coz I'm a poor writer (as u've said) but why did they hire me in the first place? I guess it's not the fault of (poor) writers...
my question is this..they did not pay me b'coz I'm a poor writer (as u've said) but why did they hire me in the first place?
ROFLMAO!
is it just me or do i feel that writers are already on strike for writers.ph?
i noticed that its almost been a month now since the available orders page are not going below 80 orders?
Or is it just that time of the year that professors are giving students too much paper work?
im not doing any more orders now. i still am not paid for my January 14 paycheck, and its like what? February 9 already?
What happened here? Did your friend get paid by writers.ph? What about the police part?
I started working for writers.ph last month. I'm expecting to be paid this feb 15. When I read the posts here I stopped taking orders. I badgered support about being absolutely on time and all, anticipating all the trouble that you guys mentioned.
The next payout (March 1) has a bigger amount. I'm worried about not getting paid.
hi gen,
did you get to talk to the local support regarding the pay?
what's the reason for the delay? did writers.ph blame the bank?
Writers.ph/essaywriters.net is a fu**-n scammer!! Guys. They suddenly posted that they wont give out our pay not un;ess we reach $400 just now !! To think that tomorrow is the payday!! What kind of ripp off is that!! This is our freakin conversation!

Dont let ur asses be victimized by these jerks! Beware!
I just got word a day before the pay out that the wire transfer is not gonna happen tomorrow, feb 15 because their "bank" only wires $400 dollars and above.
has anybody encountered this problem with writers.ph? is this a hint that they are not gonna pay up?
kkk - good to know i'm not the only one
kkk - i think we should find a way to get writers.ph pay up
Please let me know when you find a way. My friends who have written for PROJECTS1STCLASS and were cheated, would like to know.
hi sunburst_cookies and kkk! I am losing my patience. Writers.ph did not pay me on time as they have promised to do so. It is true that they changed their payment terms a day before the pay-out. first they raised the level to $50, then a day before the pay-out they raised it to $400. if they do not pay me during this pay period, i will publish everything I have written for them, report them to local authorities, expose them to all scam forums like this, report them to newspapers, and expose them to TV segments like Imbestigador and XXX. I also have proof that writers.ph accept projects not just from Essaywriters.net but to other companies also. I will expose this if they did not pay me. I will post some snapshots here.
WritersBeware
When are you people going to get it through your apparently 2-foot-thick skulls that EssayWriters.net is a Ukrainian SCAM? EssayWriters.net operates Writers.ph! I already PROVED that in a previous post!
You know, it's really hard to feel sorry for people who CHOOSE to ignore 50,000 warnings and THEN complain about being "ripped off." Well, NO ****, Sherlock!
I think people are just too stubborn. I just encountered this site when I was first not paid by them. I think it is not just to warn these writers. We need to move to give these companies their biggest break by exposing them to the media and local authorities. I will do my part on this. If they do not pay me, watch out, I will do my very best to give them what they deemed to receive!
February 14, 2008
Dear Writers,
We have to inform you that due to the fact that we started cooperating with another bank, payments processed via Wire Transfer for Philippines will temporarily be sent only if the amount exceeds $400.
We hope for your patience and understanding.
Thank you for cooperation.
Warm regards,
Writers.ph Team
How do I post pictures here? I need to post some snapshots..
