I read the related thread below about forced revisions and inadequate payments to writers; it reminds ESL services based in non-English speaking countries :(

Message content updated - see below.

Ace WriterI'm a freelance writer. This company is terrible. They didn't tell me how much they paid. I found out the pay is not that great. On top of that, they gave me a revision that basically required re-writing one whole paper and revising another without any consideration for me. I am actually going to give up on them and continue with my other place full time. I don't think I will get paid by them but oh well...

---

UPDATE:

I would like to retract this statement / review about Acematiks, fully realizing that it was my responsibility to complete only orders I could handle. The revision was not unwarranted but adequate. I've done revisions before for another company and they are nothing new. I took on too much that weekend. I would like to remove this statement from the website, if that is possible, as it does not reflect my ongoing feelings about the company.

It is with the sincerest apologies that I retract this statement, understanding it was my fault that the revision was difficult because I hadn't taken an order I was exactly proficient in. Thus, it warranted an extensive revision. I am embarrassed about the comment above and now that I think about it, the entire situation could have been avoided if I had asked for some clarification about the paper. On top of that, I took on wayyy too much work that weekend. I hate it when this happens, but sometimes we do the order almost completely wrong because of some oversight. The comment was unprofessional and misguided... It doesn't say anything about the company.

I also read the statement and I would like to agree with @Major regarding the company hiring the worst rate writers in the business. However, the writer also retracted the statement and owned up to the fact that he bit off far more than he could chew. It wasn't that he had too much work that weekend, it was that he knew he was not proficient in the topic and yet still bid on and accepted the order upon assignment. He was greedy. So I don't think that statement, based upon the subsequent retraction, truly reflects the ability of the other company writers to deliver to client on behalf of the company. While we do not make recommendations for services at this forum, I would like to point out that the potential client should also make her own inquiries at other venues such as classmates and friends who may have used the services in the past, so that an informed decision regarding hiring the company or not, can be made. It is not right to judge the company based on the words of one disgruntled writer who eventually retracted his statement.

I have used their services twice and I was really satisfied with the results
I read the previous comment and I didn't encounter anything like that with them
On the contrary - I was really impressed with how smooth it all went: fast service, essay written right to the point and in perfect lenght and very decent price

I will use their services again

perfect lenght and very decent price

If you spam, be smart about that. The truth is, you have never used their service. 'Perfect length...' - how much did they charge you for that? If you order a research service, the 'perfect length' is not on top of a student's priorities (it is if one tries to give a fraudulent review).

Perhaps the last thing you want to work for on earth. Calling it thing because can't find an appropriate word so describe it. I verified their profile from all sources available on google before joining as a writer few months back. They make everything look so authentic that no one can even get an inkling of what acematiks is. They didn't mention anything about payment while joining and even the contract from has no information regarding the amount or schedule of payment. Having laboured for over a month I asked when can I expect the payments. From this point on they seemed to behave very strangely and rarely replied emails. When I realised that they are not going to pay I withheld one revision and then they began to reply immediately. After using a lot of struggle and tactics I was able to recover about 110$ of the ~700$ worth of work. Now they have completely stopped replying emails and have frozen my account. I have tried all the phone numbers mentioned on their website but none seem to work. I am surprised how such a scam is operating like this without ever being caught. They say acematiks team but it seems that there is only one person writing from the same email using different names. S/he doesn't even know basic email etiquettes and capitalise the first word of a sentence. I hope this experience will save frustrations for some writers and wishing luck to those envisioning a career with this hapless scam.

he writer also retracted the statement and owned up to the fact that he bit off far more than he could chew

Sounds like the "retraction" may have been forced. Perhaps the writer decided he/she wanted to remain with the company and those were the terms of doing so. Who knows. It sounds a little too kiss-butt to be the full story. ;)

rarely replied emails

In response to @Nolan: part of the issues you've had probably are linked to your poor grammar (only one of many quoted above). If the papers you wrote contains even a fraction of the errors as contained in your post above, you'd be better off considering a different career choice.

@Nolan
Do you know if Acematiks has made a new scam? Or can it be just a lack of organization or some delay in payments to writers by the company?

What would be your opinion for a company or a business which doesn't know how to respect its working team (freelancers) when it comes to clearing their dues, that too without any prominent reason? This is what acematiks did to me and three others writers who were helping me on this company's writing project. This fraud organization played scammy games with us by mocking our work right after we delivered the project. The scam mastermind and operator, Frank who also operates using many fake names like Franz makes straight-away told us that we have performed the job wrong, but still, he kept on asking for all the project related files and documents. This is where his fraudster attempt got uncovered because why would anybody need the documents of a wrongly performed job?

Here is the full list of his scam and fake businesses:

@Hardy Chantal....evidently, the very poor state of your grammar in merely elucidating your "grievances" easily portrays to the discerning reader that your claims are without any merit. You clearly do not have any laudable writing experience or skills given nearly every sentence of yours is riddled with grammatical errors a typical grade 9 student would not even commit.

The very frequent grammatical errors throughout your post betrays any credible assertion that you are indeed, a "freelancer writer".

I'm surprised that anybody would use the same core name for all of those different ventures. Ordinarily, the whole point of creating dozens of different sites is, precisely, to mask their interrelatedness and ownership.

This company is making unbelievable claims across the website. I find it hard to believe that the writers of the company can truly deliver the implied one-stop-shop services indicated. I also tend to question their video testimonials which have the look and feel of paid talents on-cam. In other words, the whole site is a red flag and students should be careful when dealing with them. While their services might have improved over time, there is a higher likelihood that they only learned to scam the students in a more subtle manner and the people behind the company learned that potential clients respond better to gloss. They tend to stop looking for red flags. So be forewarned. If something looks too professionally done, it will be better not to trust the company.
